Nokia Transit
Find the best way to get around using public transportation.
On the start screen, swipe left, and tap Nokia Transit.
You can:
• Get directions door-to-door, combining different modes of public transportation
• Find nearby stops and stations, along with the next departures
• See your route on a map. The map view also helps you find your way in the walking sections of
your journey.
• Know where to get off: see the stops and stations along your route
• Pin your favorite destinations to the start screen
To see a list of cities and regions supporting full timetable-based public transportation routing, tap
> about > coverage. If timetable info is not yet available in your city, you may still be able to
see the public transportation lines and their destinations, as well as the estimated duration of your
routes.
Using services or downloading content may cause transfer of large amounts of data, which may result
in data traffic costs.
The available features may vary depending on your phone.
All services and information may not always be available or accurate.
When using the app in traffic, pay attention to the surrounding traffic. Your first consideration should
be safety.

Find your way using public transportation
Scheduling your journey using trolleys, trains, and buses can be hard - why not let your phone do the
planning?
1. On the start screen, swipe left, and tap Nokia Transit > journey planner.
2. If you don't want to start your journey from where you are right now, write your start point in the
From: box, and select from the matches.
3. Write your destination in the To: box, and select from the matches.
4. To see later or earlier journeys, drag the screen left or right. It may take a few seconds to recalculate
the journeys.
5. To see a journey in detail, tap the journey.
In the journey details view, to see the next or previous journey, swipe left or right.
6. To see your journey on the map, tap . Or, if you want to jump straight to a particular section of
your journey, tap the section, for example, a bus route.
Tip: To switch to the next or previous section of your journey, swipe left or right on the info
area below the map.
7. If you want to see the stops along your bus route (or other section of your journey), swipe up from
the info area below the map.
Plan a trip for later
Got a meeting across town in the morning? Plan your trip in advance, so you'll know when to get going.
1. On the start screen, swipe left, and tap Nokia Transit > journey planner.
2. Set your start point and destination, and tap .
3. Tap depart or arrive, depending on whether you want to set the departure or arrival time.
4. Set the date and time.

See your recent destinations
No need to search for a frequent destination again and again, you can travel there with a simple tap.
On the start screen, swipe left, and tap Nokia Transit.
The destinations you search for are automatically saved to the history view, so you can use them
again.
Swipe left or right to history. To travel to a destination, tap the destination.
Tip: You can pin your most-used destinations to the start screen. After you have set your
destination, tap .
Find nearby stops and stations
Don't know where the nearest bus stop is? Nokia Transit finds your nearby stops and stations, and
checks the next departures for you.
1. Swipe left, and tap Nokia Transit > transit nearby .
2. To see the next departures, tap the stop or station.
Tip: By default, the times of the next departures are shown. If you'd rather see how much time
there's left before each departure, tap a departure time.
Timetable info is not available in all areas.
