4-STEP ULTRA FILTRATION
The Ion-Exchange Resin works to remove or exchange ions according to the different
ionic strengths. It also removes unfiltered heavy metal ions or ion complexes, which can
be accumulated in the human body and be harmful for the human metabolic process. In
addition, it also works as a water softener by removing lime and harmful substances
such as mercury, lead, arsenic, chromium and ammonium nitrogen from the water.

Made from a variety of sources with the primary being coconut husks, Activated Carbon
removes up to 95% of residual chlorine and other harmful substances such as pigments,
odours, colour, detergents, extremely toxic byproducts of chlorine like THMs, VOCs,
agricultural chemicals and other impurities. Impregnated with silver, it also doubles up
as an anti-bacterial element to inhibit the growth of bacteria within the carbon media.

Made from natural ceramic materials and mineral oxides under stringent sintering
techniques, HydroPlus® elements produce alkaline antioxidant water to counteract free
radicals while also neutralizing acidic waste to promote pH balance in the body.
Additionally, it emits Far Infrared Rays to energize the water and break water molecules
into smaller cluster size for excellent hydrating properties, high solubility and good
permeability.

Carbon Dust Cap is not required nor applicable for UF Filter.
Novita HydroPlus® Alkaline Antioxidant Water Pitcher NP3290UF is meant for use with municipally treated water but NOT water
that is microbiologically unsafe and unknown. Individuals requiring water of a certain microbiological standard should consult the
advice of their doctors or practitioners in regards to the usage of NP3290UF. However, please note that contaminants or other
substances that can be removed or reduced by NP3290UF are not necessarily found in all users’ water supply.
USING THE HYDROPLUS®
ALKALINE ANTIOXIDANT WATER PITCHER
SETTING UP
STEP 1
To remove filter lifespan indicator, flip the cover lid
to its back. Place your palm underneath the filter
lifespan indicator and give the cover lid a sharp tap.
STEP 2
Remove all packaging materials. Thoroughly
cleanse and rinse the cover lid, reservoir and
storage tank before installation. Place back the
filter lifespan indicator into the cover lid.
STEP 3
Soak and fully submerge the NP3290UF filter in tap
water for fifteen (15) minutes.

Shake the filter for about five (5) seconds before
proceeding to rinse the filter through running water
for another three (3) minutes.

To put back the filter lifespan indicator, ensure
the filter lifespan bar is facing upwards then
insert the device into the designated slot on the
cover lid.
*Antimicrobial efficiency claim is tested and verified by third party independent laboratory.
◊ Applicable to NP2200UF, a component within NP3290UF filter cartridge.
The Korean made advanced ultra hollow membrane NP2200UF is NSF certified against NSF/ANSI standard 42 for material safety
compliance. It adopts extensive physical size exclusion filtration to remove suspended colloids up to 0.1 Microns and effectively
remove up to 99.99% of E.Coli Bacteria* with its advanced ultra-fine hollow fibre microporous membrane technology.

STEP 5
Insert the reservoir tank into the storage tank. Then
place the filter into the designated slot inside the
reservoir tank snugly.
STEP 6
Fill up the reservoir tank with tap water and allow
it to filter through into the storage tank. Discard the
first three (3) rounds of filtered water to remove
any remaining carbon dust.

Press and hold the button for a few seconds
until filter lifespan indicator displays four (4) black
bars which correspond to 100% (full), equivalent to
four (4) weeks or thirty (30) days usage. Novita
water pitcher is now ready for use.
•For initial usage, fine particles of carbon dust may remain in the water. This is normal and harmless.
•Filtered water should not be kept overnight to ensure water quality and hygiene standards.
•For best HydroPlus®results, it is recommended to consume the filtered water within six (6) hours of dispensing.
•Prevent high inflow water pressure to avoid
water splashes.
•DO NOT use hot water (35OC and above). Use
only tepid or cool tap water for filtration.
•Please wait for filtration to complete before
dispensing water to ensure optimum water
purification.

FILTER REPLACEMENT
starts to flicker on filter lifespan indicator when it is time for filter replacement. For optimum performance, it is
recommended to replace filter after one hundred and fifty (150) litres of water filtration or every thirty (30) days (equivalent to
5 Litres/Day) whichever comes first.

STEP 1
Drain all the water from the pitcher. Grab the filter
grip and lift the old filter upwards.

Soak the new filter for fifteen (15) minutes then
shake it for about five (5) seconds.

Rinse the new filter through running water for
three (3) minutes.

Proceed to insert the new filter into the designated
slot in the water reservoir tank snugly.

•When the filter is due for replacement, flickers continuously for two (2) days before the indicator enters OFF mode
to conserve battery consumption.
•The effective lifespan for the filter lifespan indicator is approximately two (2) years.

FILTER LIFESPAN INDICATOR BATTERY REPLACEMENT
STEP 1
Flip the cover lid to its back, place your palm
underneath the filter lifespan indicator and give
the cover lid a sharp tap.
STEP 2
Use a twenty cent coin to slot onto the linear groove
of the transparent battery cover. Exert some pressure
to rotate about 45º anticlockwise to remove the
battery cover.
STEP 4
Use a twenty cent coin to slot onto the linear
groove of the transparent battery cover and rotate
about 45º clockwise to secure the battery cover
in place. Place back the filter lifespan indicator
back into the cover lid.

Please ensure the o-ring are properly
aligned in place to avoid water leakage.
STEP 3
Use a pincer to remove the exhausted battery.
Place a new LR44 battery into its designated slot.
Align and place back the battery cover.

Read the operating manual carefully before using your novita HydroPlus® Alkaline Antioxidant Water Pitcher
NP3290UF and keep it for later reference.
DO NOT pour water of foreign and unknown origin into your NP3290UF.
NP3290UF is meant for use in municipally treated water but NOT water that is microbiologically unsafe and unknown.
Individuals requiring water of a certain microbiological standard should consult the advice of their doctors or practitioners
in regards to the usage of NP3290UF.
Always only useTEPID or COOL TAP WATER for filtration.
Always remember to MAINTAIN and REPLACE the filter according to its stipulated maintenance or exhaustion date.
Ensure that the filter and all parts of the NP3290UF are not cracked or damaged at all times. When damaged, the water
purification process is compromised and the water might hence be unfit for consumption.
DO NOT use any detergents, solvents or aggressive agents when cleaning the filter or any part of the NP3290UF unless specified.
When cleaning the unit, always use soft bristled scrubs or brushes to prevent scratches.
Always control the input of water into the reservoir tank to prevent over flow. If there is too much water, water may over
flow between the reservoir and storage tanks.
DO NOT expose the unit to direct sunlight, high temperature and high moisture level for an extended period of time as it
would promote bacteria growth and possible discoloration
STEP 2
Thoroughly rinse through the entire water pitcher
(excluding filter) with running water or warm soapy
water once a week to maintain cleanliness and
hygiene.
•DO NOT wash the filter cartridge with any
forms of soap, detergent, chemical of
aggressive solvent.
• DO NOT use chemical or aggressive solvent
as these substances may discolour the unit
and may cause permanent stains.

01. This warranty is valid for appliance installed and used in Singapore and stated countries only and for the period of 12
months commencing from the date of original purchase.
02. This product and all parts thereof are hereby guaranteed to the purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship.
03. Any application under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of any parts (excluding consumable parts and
accessories exhausted through usage) which proves to be defective within the warranty period.
04. This warranty does not cover imperfect finishing that does not materially impair the function of the product.
05. This warranty does not cover damages and/or defects resulting from:
a. Accidents, abuse, misuse, improper installation, or any manner of tampering.
b. Usage of wrong electrical supply/voltage.
c. Usage not in accordance with the operation instruction booklet.
d. Any unauthorized repairs.
e. Any alteration or modification made to the product.
f. Normal usage wear and tear, finishing or consumables.
g. Corrosion, rusting or stains.
h. Losses, damages, defects and malfunctions caused by fire.
06. This warranty does not cover:
a. Parts requiring replacement due to normal usage wear and tear, corrosion or stain.
b. Damage due to other equipment/solutions being used in conjunction with this unit.
c. Transportation, delivery and incidental cost incurred in fulfilment of this warranty. The purchaser shall be fully responsible
for the due delivery of the product for any repair work to novita and for the subsequent collection
therefore of the product after the said work has been done. Any product to be repaired must be sent to the service centre
directly. No outdoor servicing will be provided. For collection and return of repair set, a transportation fee of $30 is
applicable.
07. In no event shall novita be liable to the purchaser for any consequential damages or loss including, without limitation, injury
to person or property and loss of use of the products.
08. Please retain the original purchase receipt for verification purposes when required.
09. Novita reserves all rights to replace any product with another of similar value if deemed appropriate, subject to availability.
10. This warranty is invalid if the serial number on the product has been altered, defaced or removed.
11. In the event that the product is out of stock, obsolete or beyond repair, novita reserves all rights to replace the product with
another similar value as deemed appropriate, subject to availability.
