The novita HydroPlus® Alkaline Antioxidant Water Purifier NP6610R is non-electrical and uses the natural
gravitational process to facilitate the purification of water. Hence, it can be used both indoors and outdoors

novita HydroPlus® Alkaline Antioxidant Water Purifier NP6610R is meant for use in municipally treated
water but NOT water that is microbiologically unsafe and unknown. Individuals requiring water of a certain
microbiological standard should consult the advice of their doctors or practitioners in regard to the usage
of NP6610R. However, please note that contaminants or other substances that can be removed or reduced
by NP6610R are not necessarily found in all users’ water supply.

• Ceramic Filter can be used regularly till the surface is too thin for effective filtration.
• A yellowish tint in the water may be observed as part of the initial soaking and rinsing process.
• MAINTENANCE NOTE: It is recommended to regenerate the IER filter unit on a monthly basis to soften the water and
remove heavy metal ions for optimum performance. Please refer to page 11 for more information.
• Fine carbon dust particles may be observed as part of the initial soaking and rinsing process. This is normal and is harmless.
• For best HydroPlus® results, consume the filtered water within 6 hours of filtration.
• DO NOT take medication with HydroPlus® Alkaline Antioxidant Water to prevent compromising the integrity of
prescribed medicine.
• Due to different body condition, it is not recommended for pregnant woman and children below the age of 4 to
consume HydroPlus® Alkaline Antioxidant Water.
• To ensure optimum performance, DO NOT place unit near any other magnetic devices that can alter the inherent
qualities of the HydroMagnetisation Device.
Ceramic Filter
The Ceramic Filter immediately acts as a pre-filter that removes impurities such as rust, fluid, dregs,
sediments and other foreign substances in water. Its tight and porous surface works as a "sieving" media
that inhibits the passage of impurities up to the particle size of 0.1-1 micron.
Recommended usage: 12 months

Ion-Exchange Resin (IER) Filter Unit
The Ion-Exchange Resin (IER) filter works to remove or exchange ions and also removes unfiltered heavy
metal ions or ion complexes, which can be accumulated in the human body and be harmful for the
human metabolic process. In addition, it works as a water softener by removing lime and harmful
substances such as mercury, lead, arsenic, chromium and ammonium nitrogen from the water.
Recommended usage: 3 months or 500 litres of water (whichever comes first)

Silver Activated Carbon (SAC) (within HydroPlus® SAC Filter)
Made from a variety of sources with the primary being the coconut husk. Activated carbon removes
residual chlorine, pigments, odours, colours, other harmless by-products of chlorine like THMs, VOCs,
agricultural chemicals and other impurities. Turbidity and taste of the water is also improved.
Impregnated with silver, it also doubles up as an anti-bacterial element to inhibit bacterial growth within
the carbon media.
Recommended usage: 3 months or 500 litres of water (whichever comes first)

HydroPlus® Elements (within HydroPlus® SAC Filter)
Made from natural ceramic materials, HydroPlus® elements add 4 beneficial properties to your water.
Alkaline minerals aid to neutralize excess acidic waste and promote overall body pH balance. Hydrogen,
a powerful antioxidant, helps slow down the oxidation process. The smaller water molecule cluster size
facilitates better hydration and detoxification. And, oxygenizing water help promote better body
metabolism and blood circulation.
Recommended usage: 3 months or 500 litres of water (whichever comes first)

HydroMagnetisation Device
The HydroMagnetisation Device uses the natural magnetic forces to charge the water with magnetised
energy. Water is restored with its natural energy and balance that may be lost during municipal filtration.
HydroMagnetisation also helps to activate and restore the natural benefits from molecular level.
Recommended usage: HydroMagnetisation device is a semi-permanent device and no replacement is
required.

Cormac Filter
The Cormac Filter is made of bio-mineral stones and silver mineral stones, which are thermo-treated at
900-1050°C. It sterilizes bacteria and colitis germs, absorbs heavy metals, and neutralizes poisonous
water. The silver mineral stones in the Cormac Filter emit silver ions that work to eliminate and prevent
the growth of bacteria. Hence, the growth and infection of infamous water bacteria like E. Coli are
prevented from occurring in the lower water tank. Water is also enriched with healthy minerals like
calcium and magnesium for your benefits. In addition, the Cormac Filter maintains the purity of the
water for a long time, improves its taste, enhances oxygen contents and activates the water.

STEP 2
Thoroughly cleanse and rinse the top cover, lower and
upper water tanks of the novita HydroPlus® Alkaline
Antioxidant Water Purifier NP6610R before
installation.

Lift up the lower water tank gently with both hands and
remove polyethylene foam above stand. polyethylene

Soak 1 piece of Ceramic, IER & HydroPlus® SAC and
Cormac Filter in clean tepid tap water for thirty (30)
minutes and then discard the water.

• Soaking the Ceramic Filter helps to remove possible air
bubbles trapped inside. Trapped air bubbles will affect
the filtrating flow rate of the filter.
USING THE HYDROPLUS®ALKALINE
ANTIOXIDANT WATER PURIFIER
• Fine carbon dust particles and a yellowish tint in the
water may be observed as part of the initial soaking and
rinsing process.
• MAINTENANCE NOTE: It is recommended to regenerate
the IER Filter Unit on a monthly basis to soften the water

STEP 5
Pour five (5) litres of water into the upper water tank and
allow it to filter through. Empty the water through the
water tap and repeat this process twice. novita
HydroPlus® Alkaline Antioxidant Water Purifier NP6610R
is now ready for use.

Assemble the unit as indicated in the diagram. Ensure
that all filters are positioned and fitted appropriately in
their designated slots. Failure to do so would
compromise the quality of the water purified.
STEP 3.2
Check to ensure the IER Filter Unit is placed onto the
HydroPlus® SAC Filter and screw the combined filters
onto the bottom of the upper water tank as indicated in
the diagram.
STEP 3.3
Wash the surface of the Ceramic Filter gently under
running water with a soft scrub or brush for another one (1)
minute to remove the powder on the surface. Next, place
the Ceramic Filter onto the designated slot in the upper
water tank as indicated in the diagram.

FILTER REPLACEMENT
For optimum performance, it is recommended to replace IER & HydroPlus® SAC Filter once every three (3)
months/five hundred (500) litres of water from initial usage, whichever comes first. And, it is recommended to
replace the Ceramic and Cormac Filter once every twelve (12) months from initial usage.

running water with a soft scrub or brush for another one (1)
minute to remove the powder on the surface. Next, place
the Ceramic Filter onto the designated slot in the upper
water tank as indicated in the diagram.

HydroPlus® SAC Filter and screw the combined filters

The Ceramic Filter can be used repeatedly until the
surface is too thin for filtration. When substances are
gathered at the top of the filter, place the filter under
running water and wash the surface by gently scrubbing
it with a soft scrub or brush till satisfactory as indicated
in the picture.
Recommended Maintenance: Once a month
Pour two (2) litres of saline solution* or salt water slowly
through the IER. This helps to maintain the Filter by
removing unwanted ions and recharges it with sodium
ions to soften the water and remove heavy metal ions for
optimum performance. Proceed to rinse it through
running water for three (3) minutes to remove any
residual salt.

Regeneration Procedure
• For cleaning of all filters, DO NOT use any detergents, solvents or aggressive agents.
• DO NOT use chemical or aggressive solvents as these substances may discolour the unit and may cause permanent stains.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to regularly maintain and clean the novita HydroPlus® Alkaline Antioxidant Water Purifier
NP6610R. As a good hygiene practice, empty the water tank and clean it at least once a week. For external
maintenance, regularly use a damp cloth to wipe the surface to prevent the accumulation of dust.
* Make your own saline solution by dissolving 200g of salt
with 2 litres of clean tap water.

Immerse the Cormac Filter in clean hot water for three (3)
minutes.

There is no need to maintain the HydroPlus® SAC Filter.
However after replacement or maintenance of the IER
Filter Unit, let clean water pass through both the filters
for three (3) minutes before assembling back into the
water purifier.

It is imperative to maintain the Cormac Filter regularly
for optimum anti-bacterial performance.

TROUBLESHOOTING

• Read the Operating Instructions Manual carefully before using your novita HydroPlus® Alkaline Antioxidant Water
Purifier NP6610R and keep it for later reference.
• DO NOT pour water of foreign and unknown origin into your NP6610R.
• NP6610R is meant for use in municipally treated water but NOT water that is microbiologically unsafe and unknown.
Individuals requiring water of a certain microbiological standard should consult the advice of their doctors or
practitioners in regards to the usage of NP6610R.
• Always only use TEPID or COOL TAP WATER for filtration.
• Always remember to MAINTAIN and REPLACE the filters according to their stipulated maintenance or exhaustion date.
• Ensure that all filters and parts of the NP6610R are not cracked or damaged at all times. When damaged, the water
purification process is compromised and the water might hence be unfit for consumption.
• DO NOT use any detergents, solvents or aggressive agents when cleaning the filters or any part of the NP6610R unless
specified.
• When cleaning the unit, always use soft bristled scrubs or brushes to prevent scratches.
• Always control the input of water into the upper water tank to prevent over flow. If there is too much water, water may
over flow between the upper and lower water tanks.
• DO NOT expose the unit to direct sunlight, high temperature and high moisture level for an extended period of time as it
would promote bacterial growth and possible discoloration.

E-warranty registration is only applicable to customers in Singapore and stated countries who have
purchased novita product(s) from our authorised retailers or dealers. Please register your product’s

agreed to all the terms and conditions stated for this warranty.

Unless otherwise specified, this limited warranty is only valid for Refurbished Product installed and purchased in
Singapore and stated countries for the period of 6 months, on all parts commencing from the date of original purchase
and does not include installation, removal and reinstallation.
Eligibility for limited warranty coverage is limited to repair, or replacement of any parts (excluding consumable parts
and accessories exhausted through usage that may be packaged or sold together from the Refurbished Product) which
proves to be manufacturing defects within the applicable limited warranty period.
Cosmetic imperfection such as scratches, dents, stains, discoloration, adhesive marks on the unit are not covered
under the limited warranty.
Refurbished Product do not include any packaging box, operation instructions manual or starter guide.
Please retain the original purchase receipt for verification purposes when required. To be eligible for limited warranty
coverage, Refurbished Product has to be registered by the original end-user purchaser/user within 7 days from the
date of purchase at novita.com.sg/ewarranty.
This limited warranty is not transferable and shall not extend to anyone other than the original purchaser/user of this
Refurbished Product and does not include cleaning of the Refurbished Product during the specific period.
Limited Warranty coverage does not extend to Refurbished Product damages and/or defects resulting from:
a. Accidents, abuse, misuse, improper installation, or any manner of tampering.
b. Usage of wrong electrical supply/voltage.
c. Usage not in accordance with the operation instructions, maintenance and environmental instructions
that are covered and prescribed in the operating instructions manual.
d. Any unauthorized repairs.
e. Any alteration or modification made to the Refurbished Product.
f. Exterior finish or cosmetic damage.
g. Normal usage wear and tear, finishes or consumables.
h. Corrosion, rusting or stains.
i. Improper transportation, inappropriate storage conditions or materials, improper ventilation, reconfiguration of the
Refurbished Product.
j. Operating the Refurbished Product in an unattended manner.
k. Lacking of periodically Refurbished Product servicing and preventative maintenance.
l. Losses, damages, defects and malfunctions caused by fire or acts of God.

• All Information is accurate at the point of print. novita reserves all rights to update the information without prior notice.
This limited warranty does not apply/cover for:
a. Parts requiring replacement due to normal wear and tear, corrosion or stain.
b. Damage due to usage of other incompatibility equipment/solutions/accessories being used in conjunction with the
covered Refurbished Product.
c. Transportation, delivery and incidental cost incurred in fulfilment of this limited warranty. The purchaser/user shall
be fully responsible for the due delivery of the Refurbished Product for any repair work to novita and for the
ubsequent collection. Any Refurbished Product to be repaired must be sent to the service centre directly. No outdoor
servicing will be provided. novita can provide collection and return service and a transportation fee of S$24 is
applicable.
Onsite product assessment service is not inclusive in carry-in limited warranty. Optional 1-way onsite assessment is
available at S$30/visit.
This product is covered under standard carry-in limited warranty during normal business hours, excluding local
holidays, and can be performed either by novita or an appointed novita service provider. A service charge will be levied
if damages and/or defects are results from conditions stated under clause 7 & 8.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, novita shall not be in any way liable for any incidental or consequential, direct,
indirect damages whatsoever caused by the breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or condition. Except
to the extend prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of merchantability of fitness for a
particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above limited warranty. novita disclaims all other
warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or otherwise. novita shall not be liable for any
damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use the Refurbished product
including incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or loss of revenue or profits, failure to realize savings
or other benefits, or for any breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against
purchaser/user by any other party, regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, and even if novita
has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the purchaser/user assumes all risk and liability for loss, damage or
injury to the purchaser/user and their property and to any third parties and their property
arising out of the use, misuse, lack of periodic servicing and proper maintenance or inability usage of the novita
Refurbished Product.
In the event that the Refurbished Product is obsolete or beyond repair, novita reserves all rights to replace the
Refurbished Product with another similar value as deem appropriate, subject to availability. In no event shall any
recovery against novita exceed the actual price paid for the purchase of the Refurbished Product.
This limited warranty will be invalidated and rendered void upon the usage of any non-original filters/parts/accessories
that is not approved by novita for the use with the Refurbished Product.
This limited warranty is void if the serial number on the Refurbished Product had been removed, erased, defaced,
altered, tampered or is illegible.
Any replaced Refurbished Product or part, or fully refunded Product, shall become the absolute property of novita and
must be returned to novita.
novita will repair or replace this Refurbished Product at their option and at no charge with new or reconditioned parts
or Refurbished Product if found to be defective during the limited warranty period specified above. novita does not
warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Refurbished product. All replaced Refurbished Product or part, or
fully refunded Product, shall become the absolute property of novita and must be returned to novita. Replacement
parts and Refurbished Products assume the remaining original limited warranty.
novita reserves all rights to impose charges for services on the Refurbished Product which are outside the perimeter
of limited warrranty coverage. novita also reserve the right to decline Refurbished Product servicing where the
Refurbished Product is no longer covered under warranty, obsolete, no longer deemed serviceable or replaceable for
any reason.
If any section, provision, clause, sentence or part thereof of this limited warranty is held to be void, invalid or
unenforceable, it shall be modified necessarily to make it valid and enforceable, and it shall not in any way be affected
or impaired thereby.
novita shall reserve the right to modify or change the terms and conditions herein due to change(s) in availability of
Refurbished Product and/or spare parts or for the purposes of complying with applicable policies, rules, regulations
and law, without prior notice.
With the proceeding of the Refurbished Product usage, it means the purchaser/user have read, understood and agreed
on the novita’s Refurbished Product usage and limited warranty terms and conditions and also acknowledged that
novita’s limitations of liability are reasonable and within the context and circumstances under which it is applied on.
