Safety Instructions
WARNING - This appliance is intended for use in
a domestic environment.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed:
1. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the
appliance’s rated specification.
2. Extreme care should be taken when any product is used
by, or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.

speed up the mechanism. The Corkscrew will work best
at its intended speed.

6. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or
plug.
7. Do not attempt to open bottles if the switch is not working
correctly.
8. If your Corkscrew malfunctions or is damaged in any
manner return the Corkscrew to an authorised service
facility for examination and repair to avoid a hazard.
9. Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or
mechanical functions on this unit as this may void
warranty.
10. Always unplug the charger if you do not intend to use
your Corkscrew for a long period. To disconnect from the
power supply, grip the adaptor and pull from the power
socket. Never pull by the cord.
11. This product is not intended for use in wet or damp
locations.
12. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table
or counter. Arrange the power cord away from any area
where it may be tripped over.
13. Never place the Corkscrew or charger where it may fall
into a sink or other water container.
14. When not in use always store in a dry area.
15. Do not place the unit in a dish washer.
16. Do not place the corkscrew on or near an open flame,
cooking or heating appliance or a hot surface.
17. Use only with the adaptor supplied.
18. This product contains no serviceable parts.
Service & Warranty
This product is guaranteed free from defects in materials
and workmanship for a period of one (1) year. Proof of
purchase is required to validate the guarantee.
Should this unit be operated under conditions other than
those recommended, at voltages other than the voltage
indicated on the unit, or any attempts made to service or
modify the unit, this will render this WARRANTY VOID.
This guarantee is no longer valid if the damage has been
caused by fall, alteration or repair by any unauthorised
persons or if the product has been resold.
The product you buy may sometimes differ slightly from
illustration.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your
statutory rights.

Operating Instructions
We recommend charging the Corkscrew for at least two
hours before first use. Please follow the instructions below:
Recharging
Notes:
1. Use only the charger supplied with this product as using
another charger may damage the rechargeable battery
installed in this unit or cause the battery to explode.
2. The actual product differs from graphics shown in Figs 3,
5 & 6 – ie: the transparent lower section in these diagrams
are to show the internal workings more easily.

USB Port Charging Method
(Fig 1): Plug the larger end
of the USB cable into any
available USB port

A/C Adapter Charging
Method (Fig 2):
1. Plug the larger end of the
USB cable into the
included A/C adapter
USB port.
2. Then, plug the A/C
adapter into an
electrical socket.
Step 2:
Plug the smaller
end of the USB cable into
the back of the corkscrew.
(Fig. 3)
Step 3:
Leave on charge
for approx.2hrs. The LED light
indicates the corkscrew is
being charged and will turn
off when charging is
complete. Recharge the
battery at any time. No
need to completely drain
the battery before charging.
Operating Process
Step 1:
Remove the foil cap
from the wine bottle with the
included foil cutter before
using the corkscrew. (Fig. 4)
Step 2:
1. Hold the wine bottle with
one hand and place the
electric corkscrew onto
the wine bottle.
2. Press the “DOWN” button
to remove cork from the
bottle. (Fig. 5)
3. The unit will stop once the
cork is removed.
4. Hold the bottle steady with
your other hand so it
doesn’t spin round.
Step 3:
1. Move the corkscrew away
from the bottle.
2. Press the “UP” button to
eject the cork from the
corkscrew. (Fig. 6)
CAUTION: For your own safety
and the functioning of the
corkscrew - DO NOT put
fingers or objects near the
spiral, especially when in use.
Cleaning
1. Never immerse the appliance in water.
2. To clean the outer surface, simply wipe with a damp
cloth.
3. Do not use any scouring pads or abrasive cleaners as
these will result in scratches to the unit.
4. Do not use any chemical-based solutions on this
product.
5. Ensure the unit is completely dry before storage or
reconnecting to electrical supply.
Recycling & Disposal
The packaging of your new wine
opener has a recycle mark on it.
Please dispose of it as recycled paper
or by using the “Dual System”.
Battery & Disposal Information
♦This Corkscrew contains rechargeable batteries. Before
you dispose of your Corkscrew the batteries should be
removed and disposed of responsibly.
♦This should be done by a qualified technician.
♦Carefully ease the two covers apart, please note, there
are springs inside your Corkscrew that will move once
the covers are parted but normally stay inside the
product.
♦Unplug the leads from the battery pack (Fig 7) and
remove it from your Corkscrew.
♦Dispose of the rechargeable battery pack and
product responsibly.
♦Do not mix products bearing the crossed out bin
symbol with your general household waste.
♦For the correct collection and treatment of these
products take them to collection points designated by
your local authority. Alternatively, contact the store
which sold you the product.

♦The rechargeable Lithium-ion battery contained in this
product may explode if disposed of in a fire.
♦Do not charge the battery used in this equipment with
any other charger than the one provided with the
product. Using another charger may damage the
battery or cause the battery to explode.
♦This product is not waterproof. To reduce the risk of fire,
electrical shock or damage, DO NOT expose the unit to
rain or moisture or other liquid.
