Caution!
Be careful not to scratch the loudspeaker!
Don’t let any items fall into the bass reex ports!
Place the speaker upside down on a soft, non-scratching surface!
Place the out-rigger feet over the threaded bushings as shown in the
picture and mount the feet securely with the supplied bolts and hex
key. You can now turn the loudspeaker around, place it on its feet
and adjust the mini-spikes for a level, stable stand.

This method is recommended if the XS-7500 needs to be placed on
a narrow surface or if heavy objects (more than 50 kg’s) needs to be
placed on the soundbase.

2Cable connections
Each nuPro loudspeaker is connected to
the power grid using the supplied pow-
er-cable.
Press the power switch on the back to turn on
the soundboard! If necessary, press the pow-
er-button on the remote control to “wake up”
the speaker.
Please connect all sources and the optional subwoofer to the XS-7500 soundboard before turning it on!
At the digital Port input, you can plug in the supplied HDMI/ARC
adapter, enabling the direct connection of a TV. Please activate the
CEC and ARC functions on your TV and set the sound output format
to PCM.
3Source selection
You can now select your preferred source – the
easiest way to do this is to use the remote control.
The remote control has 6 buttons for source selection. Pressing a key
repeatedly toggles between its two sources as shown below:

Music playback from Bluetooth devices
In order to listen to music from your Bluetooth device, you need to
pair your device with your nuPro X speaker. You only need to do this
once.
On the speaker (see illustration right):
Navigate to the bluetooth menu and enter it by pressing . Begin
pairing by pressing .
The receiver is now visible to other Bluetooth devices.
On the transmitting device:
Go to the settings menu of your transmitter/smartphone and start
the pairing procedure (check the owner’s manual of your device). If
you have an Android device, select the receiver marked with a head-
phone symbol (see above).
Source selection:
Select the Bluetooth input of the nuPro speakers, either
on the speaker itself or with the remote control (see page 2).
Note:
For the best possible audio quality, set the output level of your source
device to maximum and perform all level adjustments on your nuPro
XS-7500 Soundbar.
Each nuPro loudspeaker has 2 Bluetooth receivers.
The receiver marked with a headphone symbol is
used for music playback.
The receiver without the headphone symbol is
used for remote control purposes and can only be
accessed via the Nubert X-Remote app.
• IOS devices will show the Audio-receiver only.
• Android devices will normally show both receivers. Examples:

Download and install the app from the Google Play Store or Apple
App store.
On Android devices, you must allow access to the device’s location.
Always use the Nubert X-Remote app to connect
to the master loudspeaker! Do not use the settings
menu on your device!

After opening the app, you will be prompted to connect to a loud-
speaker. Tap connect to go to the list of available speakers. Alter-
natively, you can tap the home-symbol in the top right corner of the
screen to see available rooms or systems.
Tap on the speaker you wish to control. In the app, the connection is
conrmed by showing selected next to the name of the chosen speak-
er. You may be prompted to enter a password. The default pass-
word is 0000. On the selected speaker itself, you will see a blinking
Nubert logo.
Tap on the Nubert logo in the top left corner of the app to return to
the main menu.
If you have selected the slave-speaker, an error message will appear
– simply connect to the other speaker on the list following the steps
above.

Tapping the Nubert logo toggles between basic, daily operation
of the speaker and access to the full functionality of the loudspeaker
via the main menu. The latter menu is identical to that on the speaker
itself.

Receiver: nuPro X active loudspeaker
Transmitter: nuPro X active loudspeaker
In this classic conguration (please refer to the nuPro X loudspeaker
owner’s manual for details), all settings are adjusted on the Master speaker.
No changes can be made to the settings of the Slave speaker,
including channel selection and volume.
Receiver: nuPro X active loudspeakers
Transmitter: XS-7500 or nuConnect ampX
nuPro x loudspeakers in Slave mode/wls slave have no conguration options.
• However, before conguring the nuPro X speaker as the Slave/wls slave,
you can select the correct channel (left, right, or mono), as the nuPro XS-7500
does not transmit channel conguration information.
• The relative level of the slave speaker(s) can be set in the zone ctrl sub-menu
on the XS-7500 or nuConnect. For more details, please see the zone ctrl section
in the owner’s manual on page 11.
• The overall level of the Slave-speakers is set on the Master (transmitting) system.
Receiver: nuPro XS-7500 or nuConnect ampX
The nuPro XS-7500 and the nuConnect ampX remain fully operable when set
as Slaves/wls slave.
• The received audio signal is sent to the wireless (wls) input which can then
be selected like any other input.
• Output level on the slave device is set independently from
the master device.
Receiver: nuSub XW
Nubert XW-generation Subwoofers are precongured as Slaves/wls slave,
this setting cannot be changed.
• The subwoofer is sent an unltered, full-range signal.
• The crossover frequency of the subwoofer as well as its relative level
must be set on the subwoofer itself. The overall level of the subwoofer
and main speakers is set on the main system.

5Wireless audio transmission in the Nubert Wireless System
Any X-platform-based devices can exchange audio- and control-information with each other. The nuPro X active speakers, the nuSub XW and
the nuConnect ampX all belong to this family. The device transmitting the signal is the Master, the device receiving the signal is the Slave. On
some devices, this setting is xed, others, like the nuPro XS-7500, are freely congurable. For more details, please see the setup section in the
owner’s manual, on page 11.
