General
Ink Cartridge:
With a new ink cartridge, the nozzle plate must be cleaned with somewhat more patience,
but in the same manner. A damp paper handkerchief helps to loosen dry ink more quickly.
Never use fingernails or hard objects. Do not smear ink under the conductor strip. As a
cleaning agent, use only water. Cartridges must always be dry before insertion, also under
the conductor strip. The golden round contact points must also be clean. If necessary, wipe
with moist paper handkerchief. Do not shake cartridges.
Cartridge holder:
Before inserting the cartridge carefully, check by looking from above into the cartridge
holder. The yellow, slightly raised contact points opposite the cartridge must also be clean.
The same applies to the sliding plate below, where the nozzles spray through the long slot.
Both are to be cleaned with a moist paper handkerchief.

Parking station:
The cartridge is stored in the parking station. The black rubber below must always be clean.
It is to be washed under the water tap weekly.
Storage:
Cartridges are to be stored dust-free with cartridge holder, between 5° and 25° Celsius.
Protect against heat. Rapid changes in temperature and direct sunlight damage the
cartridge. In winter, place in a closed tin in the chicken coop, for example. Never heat
cartridge up on a stove or radiator.
