1 ISTRUZIONI ANTINFORTUNISTICHE
GENERALI
Prima di accingersi ad azionare questa macchina, è
importante leggere, capire e seguire queste istruzioni con
molta attenzione, per garantire la sicurezza dell’operatore e
dei circostanti, come pure per garantire una lunga e sicura
vita della macchina. Imparare come usare l’ettroutensile, le
sue limitazioni d’utilizzo e i rischi potenziali che ne possono
derivare. Conservare queste istruzioni in un posto sicuro
per la consultazione futura.
Evitare le partenze involontarie - Scollegare gli elettroutensili
Controllare sempre che le chiavette e le chiavi di regolazione
siano rimosse dall’elettroutensile prima di avviarlo.
Accertarsi che l’interruttore sia nella posizione di SPENTO
prima di collegare l’elettroutensile all’alimentazione di rete.
Accertarsi che gli elettroutensili siano scollegati

con una morsa il pezzo da lavorare.
Mantenere sempre pulita ed in ordine la zona di lavoro.
Manovrare l’elettroutensile utilizzando entrambe le mani.
Non aprire o modificare in alcun modo l’elettroutensile o i
suoi accessori.
Non esporre gli elettroutensili alla pioggia, o utilizzarli in
situazioni dove possano bagnarsi o inumidirsi.
Mantenere l’area di lavoro bene illuminata.
Non utilizzare gli elettroutensili nelle zone dove esista

Non forzare l’elettroutensile
L’elettroutensile farà un lavoro migliore, più sicuro e darà
un servizio migliore se verrà utilizzato alla velocità per cui
è stato progettato.
Eseguire sempre un’accurata manutenzione degli utensili
Mantenere affilati e puliti gli utensili da taglio onde
ottenerne le prestazioni migliori e più sicure.
Seguire le istruzioni di lubrificazione e sostituzione degli
accessori. Mantenere le impugnature asciutte, pulite e
prive di olio e grasso.
Accertarsi che le fessure di ventilazione siano sempre
mantenute pulite e prive di polvere. Le fessure di
ventilazione bloccate possono causare il surriscaldamento
e il danneggiamento del motore. Se questa macchina deve
essere utilizzata quando si lavora ad una certa altezza,
deve essere utilizzato un ponteggio dotato di ringhiera
e battipiede o una piattaforma a torre, in modo tale da
garantire una adeguata stabilità.
PROTEGGERSI DALLE SCOSSE ELETTRICHE
Evitare il contatto del corpo con superfici messe a terra o
a massa (per esempio tubazioni, radiatori, lavastoviglie e
frigoriferi).
Cavi di alimentazione
Non strattonare o tirare il cavo di alimentazione per
scollegarlo dalla presa di alimentazione di rete.
Non trasportare mai l’elettroutensile afferrandone il cavo di
alimentazione. Tenere il cavo di alimentazione lontano da
fonti di calore, olio, solventi e spigoli vivi.
Ispezionare periodicamente il cavo di alimentazione
dell’utensile e, se danneggiato, farlo sostituire da un servizio
di manutenzione autorizzato. Esaminare periodicamente i
cavi di prolunga e sostituirli se danneggiati.
NON utilizzare cavi o bobine di prolunga a due conduttori
per gli elettroutensili con un percorso di terra. Utilizzare
sempre un cavo o bobina di prolunga a tre conduttori
con il filo di terra collegato a terra. Srotolare sempre
completamente l’eventuale cavo di prolunga.
Per i cavi di prolunga fino a 15 metri utilizzare conduttori di
sezione trasversale di 1,5 mm2.
Per i cavi di prolunga più lunghi di 15 metri, ma meno di 40
metri, utilizzare conduttori di sezione trasversale di 2,5 mm2.
Proteggere il cavo di prolunga da oggetti affilati, calore
eccessivo e dall’esposizione all’umidità o all’acqua.

2 ISTRUZIONI SPECIFICHE PER LA
SICUREZZA
Attenzione!
Questa smerigliatrice angolare non deve essere usata
per operazioni di taglio/troncatura.
La protezione di sicurezza del disco, inclusa nella confezione,
è da utilizzare solo per operazioni di smerigliatura. Se
l'utente ha necessità di effettuare operazioni di taglio/
troncatura, deve usare la protezione di sicurezza specifica
per il taglio, acquistabile separatamente.
La cuffia di protezione per la troncatura non è una
dotazione standard.
AVVERTIMENTI DI SICUREZZA SPECIFICI
PER LE OPERAZIONI DI MOLATURA
a) Utilizzare unicamente tipi di mola consigliati per il vostro
utensile elettrico e la protezione specifica concepita per
la mola scelta.
b) La protezione deve essere solidamente fissata all’utensile
elettrico e messa in posizione di sicurezza massima, di
modo che l’operatore sia esposto il meno possibile alla
mola.
c) Le mole devono essere utilizzate solo per le applicazioni
raccomandate.
d) Usare sempre delle flange di mola non danneggiate e
che siano di taglia e di forma corrette per la mola che
avete scelto.
e) Non utilizzare delle mole usate di utensili elettrici più
grandi.
ATTENZIONE!
Per nessun motivo si devono utilizzare dischi diamantati
per smerigliare metalli.
I dischi da smerigliatura sono soggetti a rotture e vanno
quindi utilizzati con la massima attenzione. L’utilizzo di
dischi danneggiati, montati in modo errato o consumati è
pericoloso e può causare seri infortuni.
I dischi da smerigliatura vanno maneggiati e trasportati con
cura e devono essere conservati in modo da evitare danni
meccanici e contaminazione da sostanze che potrebbero
causare deterioramento del materiale legante.
Si devono rispettare tutte le informazioni sui dischi da
smerigliatura relative a restrizioni d’uso, note di sicurezza
ed altro. In caso di dubbio in merito alla corretta scelta
di dischi da smerigliatura, l’utente è pregato di chiedere
informazioni alla casa produttrice o al fornitore.
Prima di montarli e prima di ogni utilizzo i dischi devono
essere controllati visivamente per assicurarsi che non ci
siano crepe, scheggiature, usura eccessiva, contaminazione
o qualsiasi altro danno che possa comprometterne la
sicurezza d’uso.
I dischi da smerigliatura devono essere montati rispettando
le istruzioni del relativo manuale. Dopo aver montato
i dischi da smerigliatura, azionare la macchina per un
ragionevole lasso di tempo e, se si avverte un rumore
inusuale o una vibrazione eccessiva, la macchina va spenta
immediatamente per individuarne la causa.
Tutte le protezioni devono essere montate in modo corretto
e fissate bene. La smerigliatrice angolare non va utilizzata
senza le protezioni.
Si devono indossare tutti i dispositivi di protezione
individuale adatti al lavoro da svolgere. Tali dispositivi
devono includere guanti adatti, cuffie antirumore, occhiali
protettivi, maschera e scarpe o stivali da lavoro con punta
rinforzata in acciaio.
Utilizzare solo i dischi da smerigliatura adatti al lavoro da
svolgere. L’utilizzo di un tipo non corretto di disco può
causare seri infortuni.
Quando si usa un disco da smerigliatura, l’angolo tra il disco
ed il pezzo in lavorazione deve essere tra i 30 ed i 40°.
Prima di appoggiare la smerigliatrice angolare sul tavolo da
lavoro o a terra bisogna spegnerla e attendere che il disco
si sia fermato.
Le smerigliatrici angolari non vanno utilizzate ad un’altezza
superiore a quella delle spalle.
I dischi da smerigliatura non vanno utilizzati a velocità
superiori a quelle indicate sui dischi stessi.
I dischi da smerigliatura vanno utilizzati a secco. L’uso
di acqua è molto pericoloso e può provocare scosse
elettriche.
Non utilizzare dischi più grandi di quanto specificato,
utilizzare solo dischi delle dimensioni corrette per la
macchina.
La velocità di rotazione (giri/min.) (Rpm) mostrata sul disco
deve essere sempre SUPERIORE alla velocità di rotazione
(giri/min.) (Rpm) della macchina.

4 ISTRUZIONI DI FUNZIONAMENTO
COMANDI DELLA SMERIGLIATRICE ANGOLARE
Guardando la smerigliatrice dall’alto, il dispositivo di
bloccaggio dell’alberino si trova nella parte centrale
anteriore della scatola ingranaggi (Foto 2). I punti di attacco
dell’impugnatura (perché questa possa essere usata sia
con la mano destra che con la sinistra) sono situati su
ciascun Iato della scatola ingranaggi grigia nella parte
anteriore della smerigliatrice angolare. Davanti alla scatola
ingranaggi grigia si trova una freccia di direzione che indica
il senso di rotazione del disco.
MONTAGGIO DEI DISCHI DA
SMERIGLIATURA
Verificare che la smerigliatrice sia scollegata dalla presa di
corrente. Rovesciarla sul dorso (Foto 3).
Localizzare e spingere in basso il pulsante di bloccaggio
dell’alberino. Servendosi della chiave fornita in dotazione
inserire i perni nei fori sul dado di bloccaggio del disco.
Ruotare la chiave in senso antiorario per sbloccare questo
dado. Se la rondella di rinforzo viene tolta, occorre rimetterla
al suo posto nel verso giusto. Il modo giusto per montarla
sull’albero è indicato nella Foto 4.
N. B. Esistono diversi tipi di disco per diverse applicazioni.
Scegliere quello più adatto al lavoro che si vuole eseguire.
Controllare che nella rondella di rinforzo le parti in piano

siano sistemate correttamente sull’albero. Il disco di rettifica
deve essere sistemato sulla smerigliatrice con la scritta
rivolta in alto.
MONTAGGIO DI UN DISCO NUOVO
Sistemare il disco sull’albero posizionandolo sopra la
rondella di rinforzo. Si può vedere che quest’ultima ha un
bordo sollevato.
Il foro nel disco deve corrispondere al diametro del bordo
sollevato, tenendo il disco montato in posizione centrale;
rimontare il dado di bloccaggio (Foto 5). Stringere con le dita
sino a quando il disco è bloccato. Localizzare e spingere
in basso il dispositivo di bloccaggio dell’alberino (Foto 2)
e, servendosi dell’apposita chiave (Foto 6), stringere la
rondella di rinforzo in senso orario sino a quando il disco è
ben bloccato, ma senza stringere eccessivamente. Allentare
il dispositivo di bloccaggio dell’alberino e rovesciare la
smerigliatrice. L’impugnatura laterale può essere montata
su un Iato o sull’altro dell’utensile a piacere dell’operatore
(Foto 7); accertarsi che sia ben fissata ma senza stringere
eccessivamente.
Collegare la smerigliatrice ad una presa di corrente idonea.
È consigliabile usare un dispositivo per corrente residua
(RCD) omologato. In caso di dubbio, rivolgersi ad un
elettricista qualificato.
PER LA VOSTRA SICUREZZA SIETE PREGATI
DI SEGUIRE QUESTE ISTRUZIONI
Per motivi di sicurezza la smerigliatrice angolare dovrebbe
sempre essere usata in una zona di lavoro appositamente
designata. Durante la smerigliatura si generano scintille
roventi le quali potrebbero incendiare materiali infiammabili
che si trovano nelle vicinanze. Prima di usare la smerigliatrice
angolare, leggere tutte le norme di sicurezza.
AVVIO E ARRESTO
8.3) Premere prima il pulsante piccolo.
8.4) Premere questo pulsante grande per accendere
l’utensile.
Il primo pulsante può essere rilasciato mentre si sta
utilizzando la smerigliatrice angolare.
Rilasciare il pulsante grande per spegnere l’utensile.
Se l’apparecchio emette un rumore insolito o vibra
eccessivamente, spegnerlo immediatamente e staccarlo
dall’alimentazione di corrente. Indagare sulle cause o
rivolgersi ad un centro assistenza.
La Foto 9 illustra una tipica operazione di smerigliatura.
N.B. La protezione è stata sistemata in modo da deflettere le
scintille lontano dall’operatore. Le operazioni di smerigliatura
devono essere eseguite con il disco ad un angolo compreso
fra 30° e 40° rispetto al pezzo in lavorazione (Foto 9).
Durante l’uso è consigliabile controllare periodicamente che
il dado di bloccaggio del disco, l’impugnatura laterale e la
protezione siano ben fissati.
Ricordare che il metallo di smerigliatura può generare
particelle di polvere dannose all’apparato respiratorio, per
cui si consiglia di acquistare una maschera antipolvere
omologata presso un rivenditore di fiducia.
Non immergere MAI il disco di smerigliatura in alcun tipo di
lubrificante, ivi compresa l’acqua. La smerigliatrice angolare
esegue operazioni di smerigliatura a secco. In caso contrario
si potrebbe causare una scossa elettrica letale.
La protezione può essere regolata per tipi diversi di lavoro.
La foto 9 mostra l’esecuzione di un lavoro di smerigliatura.
L’immagine illustra come la protezione sia stata regolata
in modo da deflettere le scintille lontano dagli occhi
dell’operatore. Per ulteriori apparecchiature di protezione
vedere le norme di sicurezza.
Tenere sempre il cavo di alimentazione elettrica dietro al
pezzo che si sta smerigliando.

Check correct alignment of moving parts, making sure they
do not bind. Check for any damaged components and make
sure that the power tool has been correctly assembled.
Check for any condition that may affect operation of the
power tool.
Unless otherwise indicated in this instructions handbook, a
guard or any other part of the power tool that has been
damaged must be repaired or replaced by an authorized
service center.
Any switch that does not work correctly must be replaced by
an authorized service center.
Do not use the power tool if the ON/OFF switch does not
turn the power tool ON and OFF.
Dust generated when machining materials is a health hazard.

explosionn or fire from combustible materials, flammable
liquids, paint, varnish, petrol etc. flammable gases and
dust of an explosive nature.
Beware children and pets
Children and pets should be kept out of the work area.
All power tools should be kept out of the reach of children
and, preferably, stored or locked in a secure cabinet or dry
room when not in use.
Use the right tool
Select the right tool for the job. Do not use a tool for a job
for which it was not designed. Do not force a small tool
to do the job of a heavy-duty tool. Do not use tools for
purposes not intended.
Do not force the power tool
The power tool will do a better and safer job and give you
much better service if it is used at the rate for which it was
designed.
Maintain tools with care
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean for better and safer
performance.
Follow the instructions for lubricating and changing
accessories.
Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
Ensure that ventilation slots are kept clean and free from
dust at all times. Blocked ventilation slots can cause
overheating and damage to the motor.
If this machine is to be used when working at a certain
height, scaffolding fitted with railing and kick-plate or a
tower platform must be used in order to guarantee suitable
stability.
GUARD AGAINST ELECTRIC SHOCK
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces
(e.g. pipes, radiators, dish-washers and refrigerators).
Power Cords
Never yank or pull the power cord to disconnect it from the
mains supply socket.
Never carry the power tool by its power cord. Keep the
power cord away from heat, oil, solvents and sharp edges.
Check the tool power cord periodically and if damaged
have it replaced by an authorized service center.
Inspect extension cords periodically and replace if
damaged.
DO NOT use 2-core extension cords or reels on power
tools with an earth path. Always use a 3-core extension
cord or reel with the earth core connected to earth.
Always unwind any extension cords fully.
For extension cords up to 15 metres, use a wire cross
section of 1.5mm2 .
For extension cords over 15 metres, use a wire cross
section of 2.5mm2 .
Protect your extension cord from sharp objects, excessive
heat and damp or wet locations.

2 SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning!
This angle grinder has not to be used for cutting
operations.
Pre-fitted disc guard is for grinding use only. If the user
needs to apply it for cutting, the separated cutting guard
has to be purchased.
The protection guard for cutting off is not included as
standard delivery.
SAFETY WARNINGS SPECIFIC FOR
GRINDING OPERATION
a) Use only wheel types that are recommended for your
power tool and the specific guard designed for the
selected wheel.
b) The guard must be securely attached to the power tool
and positioned for maximum safety, so the least amount
of wheel is exposed towards the operator.
c) Wheels must be used only for recommended
applications.
d) Always use undamaged wheel flanges that are of correct
size and shape for your selected wheel.
e) Do not use worn down wheels from larger power tools.
SAFE USE OF ANGLE GRINDER’s GRINDING
DISCS
Warning!
Under no circumstances should any type of diamond
coated disc be used for grinding metals.
Grinding discs are breakable and should be handled with
the utmost care. The use of damaged, incorrectly mounted
or worn grinding discs is dangerous and can cause serious
injury.
Grinding discs should be handled and transported with care
grinding discs should be stored in such a way as to prevent
mechanical damage and contamination with substances
that could cause deterioration of the bonding material.
The information on the grinding discs relating to restriction
of use, safety indications or any other information should be
followed. In case of doubt concerning the correct selection

Before mounting and before each use the grinding disc
should be visually inspected for any cracks, chips, excessive
wear, contamination or any other damage that could affect
safe operation.
The grinding disc should be mounted in accordance with
the instructions in the product manual. After mounting the
grinding disc should be run for a reasonable time, if any
unusual noise or excessive vibration is evident the machine
must be stopped immediately and the cause investigated.
All guards must be correctly and securely fitted and
positioned correctly. The angle grinder must not be used
without the guard fitted.
Personal protective equipment suitable for the work being
carried out should be worn. Personal protective equipment
should include, suitable work gloves, ear protection, eye
protection, respiratory protection and steel toe cap shoes
or boots.
Only use grinding disc suitable for the work being done and
observe all safety instructions and restrictions of use. Use
of the wrong type of grinding disc could result in serious
injury.
When using a grinding disc the angle between the grinding
disc and work piece should be between 30° and 40°.
Before placing the angle grinder on the workbench or floor
it must be switched off and the grinding disc must have
stopped rotating.
Angle grinders must not be used above shoulder height.
Grinding discs must not be run at a rotational speed greater
than that shown on the grinding disc.
Grinding discs must be used dry. Using water is highly
dangerous and could result in an electric shock.
Do not use discs that are larger than specified, only use
discs that are rated for the angle grinder.
The rotational speed (RPM) shown on the disc should
always be HIGHER than the rotational speed (RPM) of the
angle grinder.

4 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
ANGLE GRINDER CONTROLS
Looking at the Angle Grinder from the top the spindle lock
is located at the front centre of the gearbox casing (Pic. 2).
The location points for the handle (to suit left or right handed
operators) are located each side of the grey gearbox
housing at the front of the angle grinder. A direction arrow
to show the direction of disc rotation is located at the front
of the grey gearbox housing.
INSTALLING GRINDING DISCS
Make sure the Angle Grinder is unplugged from the mains
supply socket. Turn the Angle Grinder onto its back (Pic.3).
Locate and depress the spindle lock button. Using the
wrench supplied insert the pins into the holes on the disc
clamping nut. Turn the wrench anti-clockwise to release the
disc clamping nut. If the disc backing washer is removed it
must be replaced the correct way round. The correct way to
fit this onto the shaft can be seen in Pic. 4.
NOTE: There are different types of discs used for different
applications. Select the correct one for the work being
done. Make sure the disc backing washer flats are located
correctly with the flats on the shaft. The grinding disc should
be placed onto the Angle Grinder with the writing facing
upwards.
INSTALLING A NEW DISC
Place the disc over the shaft locating it onto the disc backing
washer. It can be seen that the backing washer has a raised
lip.
The hole in the disc should match the diameter of the raised
lip, keeping the disc mounted central; refit the disc clamping

nut (Pic. 5). Tighten with fingers until the disc is clamped.
Locate and depress the spindle lock and using the supplied
wrench, (Pic. 6) tighten the locking washer in a clockwise
direction until the disc is firmly clamped but do not over tighten.
Release the spindle lock and turn the Angle Grinder over.
The side handle can be fitted to either side of the machine
to suit the operator (Pic. 7) ensure that the side handle is
secured but do not over tighten.
Connect the Angle Grinder to a suitable mains supply
socket. It is advisable to use an approved Residual current
device (RCD).
If in doubt consult an approved electrician.

Working with an Angle Grinder should always be done in a
suitable designated work area for safety reasons. Hot sparks
are generated when grinding. Any debris nearby could be
ignited resulting in a fire. Read all the safety instructions
before using the Angle Grinder.
STARTING AND STOPPING (Pic. 8)
8.3) Press this small button first.

The first button may be released while you are using the
angle grinder.
Release the big button to switch off the machine.
If the machine makes an unfamiliar sound or vibrates
excessively switch it off immediately and disconnect from
the power supply. Investigate the cause or consult a service
centre for advice.
Pic.9 shows a typical grinding operation.
NOTE: The guard has been positioned to deflect hot sparks
away from operator. Grinding operations should be done
with the disc at an angle of between 30° and 40° to the work
piece (Pic.9).
During use it is advisable to periodically check the security
of the disc clamping nut, side handle and disc guard.
Be aware that grinding metal can cause harmful dust
particles that will damage your respiratory system and it
is advised that an approved dust mask is obtained from a
reputable dealer.
NEVER immerse the grinding disc into any type of lubricant
including water. The Angle Grinder is a dry grinder. Failure
to observe will result in a fatal electric shock.
The guard is adjustable for different types of work. The
picture 9 shows how the guard has been adjusted to deflect
the sparks away from the operators eyes. See safety
instructions for additional protective equipment.
Always keep mains power lead to the rear of the work being
grind.
Warning!
The sound intensity level for the operator may exceed
85 dB(A). Suitable ear protection must be worn by the
operator.

1 ALLGEMEINE
UNFALLVERHÜTUNGSVORSCHRIFTEN
Vor Inbetriebnahme der Maschine müssen diese
Anleitungen unbedingt aufmerksam gelesen, verstanden
und befolgt werden, um die Sicherheit des Bedieners
und der Arbeitsumgebung, sowie eine lange und sichere
Lebensdauer der Maschine zu garantieren.
Machen Sie sich unbedingt mit der Bedienung des
Elektrowerkzeugs, dessen Einsatzgrenzen und den potentiellen
Risiken, die seine Benutzung mit sich bringen kann, vertraut.
Bewahren Sie diese Anleitungen für späteres Nachschlagen
an einem sicheren Ort auf.
Unbeabsichtigte Inbetriebsetzung vermeiden
Elektrowerkzeuge trennen
Vor Inbetriebnahme des Elektrowerkzeugs stets kontrollieren,
ob die Stellkeile und -schlüssel entfernt wurden.
Sicherstellen, dass der Schalter auf AUS steht, bevor das
Elektrowerkzeug an das Stromnetz angeschlossen wird.

Keine weite Bekleidung oder Schmuckstücke tragen und
langes Haar zusammenbinden, damit es nicht in den
beweglichen Maschinenteilen hängen bleiben kann.
Immer auf stabilem, sicherem Untergrund arbeiten.
Das Werkstück immer mit einer Spannvorrichtung fest
einspannen. Den Arbeitsbereich immer sauber und
ordentlich halten.Das Elektrowerkzeug und dessen
Zubehör unter keinen Umständen öffnen oder verändern.
Die Elektrowerkzeuge müssen vor Regen geschützt, und
dürfen nicht in Situationen benutzt werden, in denen sie
Nässe oder Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt sind. Im Arbeitsbereich
stets für gute Beleuchtung sorgen. Die Elektrowerkzeuge
nicht in Bereichen benutzen, in denen Explosions- oder
Brandgefahr durch Brennstoffe oder entflammbare
Flüssigkeiten, Lacke, Farben, Benzin usw., entflammbare
und explosive Gase und Stäube besteht.
Auf Kinder und Haustiere achten
Kindern und Haustieren muss der Zutritt zum Arbeitsbereich
verboten werden. Alle Elektrowerkzeuge müssen außerhalb
der Reichweite von Kindern gehalten werden. Solange
sie nicht benutzt werden, sollten die Elektrowerkzeuge
vor Feuchtigkeit geschützt und unter Verschluss in einem
Schrank oder Zimmer verwahrt werden.
Das korrekte Werkzeug benutzen
Immer das richtige Werkzeug für die durchzuführende Arbeit
wählen. Kein Werkzeug für eine Arbeit benutzen, für das es
nicht vorgesehen ist. Kein kleines Werkzeug mit zu schwere
Arbeiten überfordern. Die Werkzeuge niemals für Arbeiten
benutzen, die nicht ihrem Bestimmungszweck entsprechen.
Das Elektrowerkzeug nicht überfordern
Das Elektrowerkzeug wird besser und sicherer arbeiten
und bessere Resultate erzielen, wenn es bei der Drehzahl
benutzt wird, für die es ausgelegt ist.
Die Werkzeuge immer sorgfältig warten
Die Schneidwerkzeuge stets geschliffen und sauber
halten, um beste Leistungen zu erzielen und Sicherheit zu
garantieren. Die Anleitungen für die Schmierung und für
den Ersatz der Zubehörteile befolgen.
Die Griffe trocken, sauber und frei von Öl und Fett halten.
Sicherstellen, dass die Lüftungsschlitze immer sauber und
staubfrei sind. Verstopfte Lüftungsschlitze können die
Überhitzung und Beschädigung des Motors verursachen.
Wenn mit dieser Maschine in einer gewissen Höhe
gearbeitet wird, muss ein Gerüst mit Geländer und
Lauffläche, oder eine Turmplattform verwendet werden,
um eine ausreichende Stabilität zu gewährleisten.
SCHUTZ VOR STROMSCHLÄGEN
Den Kontakt des Gerätegehäuses mit geerdeten oder an
Masse angeschlossenen Flächen (zum Beispiel Rohrleitungen,
Heizkörper, Geschirrspülmaschinen und Kühlschränke) vermeiden.
Netzkabel
Den Stecker nicht am Netzkabel aus der Steckdose
ziehen. Das Elektrowerkzeug nicht am Netzkabel tragen.
Das Netzkabel nicht in die Nähe von Wärmequellen, Öl,
Lösemittel und scharfe Kanten bringen.
Das Netzkabel des Werkzeugs regelmäßig inspizieren.
Falls Beschädigungen festgestellt werden, von einem
autorisierten Wartungsdienst ersetzen lassen.
Die Verlängerungskabel regelmäßig untersuchen und bei
Beschädigung ersetzen. Für die Elektrowerkzeuge mit
Erdleitung KEINE Verlängerungskabel oder Kabelspulen
mit zwei Leitern, sondern Kabel bzw. Kabelspulen mit drei
Leitern verwenden und den Erdleiter erden. Das eventuelle
Verlängerungskabel immer ganz abspulen.
Für bis zu 15 Meter lange Verlängerungskabel Leiter mit
Querschnitt 1,5 mm2 verwenden. Für über 15 Meter, aber
weniger als 40 Meter lange Verlängerungskabel Leiter mit
Querschnitt 2.5 mm2 verwenden. Das Verlängerungskabel
vor spitzen Gegenständen, starker Hitze sowie
Feuchtigkeit und Nässe schützen.
Warnhinweis!
Dieses Elektrowerkzeug erfüllt die nationalen und internationalen
Rechtsvorschriften und Sicherheitsbestimmungen.
Reparaturen dürfen ausschließlich von qualifiziertem
Fachpersonal, und unter Verwendung von Originalersatzteilen

2 BESONDERE
SICHERHEITSANWEISUNGEN
Achtung!
Dieser Winkelschleifer darf für Schneidoperationen
nicht eingesetzt werden.
Die vormontierte Schutzabdeckung der Scheibe ist
ausschließlich für das Schleifen bestimmt. Sollte der
Benutzer sie für das Schneiden verwenden, dann muß er
die separate Schutzabdeckung kaufen.
Die Schneideschutzabdeckung ist in der
standardmäßigen Lieferung nicht enthalten.
Sicherheitswarnungen für das Schleifen
a) Verwenden Sie nur die für Ihre Werkzeugmaschine
empfohlenen Schleifscheiben und die für die ausgewählte
Schleifscheibe spezifisch konzipierte Schutzabdeckung.
b) Befestigen Sie die Schutzabdeckung an der
Werkzeugmaschine, um den besten Sicherheitszustand
zu versichern, damit so wenig Schleifscheibe wie möglich
dem Benutzer ausgesetzt ist.
c) Schleifscheiben dürfen nur für empfohlene Anwendungen
eingesetzt werden.
d) Verwenden Sie immer unbeschädigte Flansche, die für
Ihre ausgewählte Schleifscheibe richtig dimensioniert
und gestaltet sind.
e) Verwenden Sie keine verschlissenen Schleifscheiben
größerer Werkzeugmaschinen.
ACHTUNG!
Diamantscheiben dürfen unter keinen Umständen
zum Schleifen von Metallen benutzt werden.
Die Schleifscheiben sind empfindlich und müssen daher
mit größter Sorgfalt behandelt werden. Die Verwendung
von beschädigten, falsch montierten oder abgenutzten
Schleifscheiben ist gefährlich und kann schwere Unfälle
verursachen.
Die Schleifscheiben müssen vorsichtig gehandhabt und
transportiert werden. Bei ihrer Lagerung ist darauf zu achten,
dass mechanische Schäden und eine Verschmutzung
mit Substanzen, die das Bindemittel angreifen könnten,
ausgeschlossen werden.
Sämtliche Hinweise an den Schleifscheiben in Bezug auf
Einsatzbeschränkungen, Sicherheitsvorschriften u.a. sind
strikt zu befolgen. In Zweifelsfällen bezüglich der korrekten
Wahl der Schleifscheiben bitten wir den Benutzer, mit dem
Hersteller oder Lieferer Rücksprache zu halten.
Vor Montage und vor jedem Gebrauch der Schleifscheiben
müssen diese inspiziert werden, um sicherzustellen, dass
sie keine Risse, Absplitterungen, übermäßigen Verschleiß,
Verschmutzung oder irgendeinen sonstigen Schaden
aufweisen, der ihre Sicherheit beeinträchtigen könnte.
Die Schleifscheiben müssen unter Befolgung der Anleitungen
des entsprechenden Handbuchs montiert werden. Die
Maschine nach Montage der Schleifscheiben für eine
gewisse Zeit laufen lassen. Wenn ein ungewöhnliches
Geräusch zu hören ist oder übermäßige Vibrationen
auftreten, muss die Maschine sofort abgeschaltet, und die
Ursache hierfür festgestellt werden.
Alle Schutzabdeckungen müssen korrekt montiert und
gut befestigt werden. Der Winkelschleifer darf nicht ohne
Schutzabdeckungen benutzt werden.
Der Benutzer muss alle für die auszuführende Arbeit

Zu diesen persönlichen Schutzausrüstungen gehören
geeignete Handschuhe, Gehörschutz, Schutzbrille,
Gesichtsschutz und Sicherheitsschuhe bzw. -stiefel mit
verstärkter Stahlkappe.
Es dürfen nur Schleifscheiben benutzt werden, die für die
auszuführende Arbeit geeignet sind. Durch Benutzung
eines nicht korrekten Schleifscheibentyps können ernsthafte
Unfälle verursacht werden.
Bei Benutzung einer Schleifscheibe muss der Winkel
zwischen Scheibe und Werkstück zwischen 30 und 40°
betragen.
Bevor der Winkelschleifer auf einem Arbeitstisch oder
auf dem Boden abgestellt wird, muss er abgeschaltet
und gewartet werden, bis die Schleifscheibe vollkommen
stillsteht.
Die Winkelschleifer dürfen nicht höher als Schulterhöhe
benutzt werden.
Die Schleifscheiben dürfen nicht bei höheren Drehzahlen
verwendet werden als auf den Schleifscheiben angegeben.
Die Schleifscheiben werden trocken verwendet. Die
Verwendung von Wasser ist gefährlich und kann
Stromschläge verursachen.
Niemals den Schleifer oder den Zubehör in irgendeiner
Weise umbauen.
Keine übermäßige Kraft aufwenden. Der Schleifer und die
Scheiben werden dann weniger abgenutzt, sie arbeiten
also besser und halten länger.

REGLER
Von oben betrachtet befindet sich die Spindelarretierung
vorne am Getriebegehäuse (Bild 2). Die Befestigungspunkte
für den Handgriff (für Links- bzw. Rechtshänder) befinden
sich an beiden Seiten des grauen Getriebegehäuses, vorne
am Winkelschleifer. Ein Richtungspfeil vorne auf dem
Gehäuse zeigt die Drehrichtung der Schleifscheibe an.
MONTAGE DER SCHLEIFSCHEIBEN
Vor der Montage den Winkelschleifer vom Netzstrom
trennen!
Drehen Sie den Winkelschleifer um (Abb. 3). Drücken Sie
auf die Spindelarretierung. Führen Sie die Stifte mit dem
mitgelieferten Schlüssel in die entsprechenden Löcher auf
der Scheibenknebelmutter. Zur Freigabe der Knebelmutter
drehen Sie den Schlüssel gegen den Uhrzeigersinn. Wenn
die Unterlegscheibe der Schleifscheibe entfernt wurde,
muss sie in der richtigen Ausrichtung wieder eingesetzt
werden. Abb. 4 zeigt, wie sie wieder korrekt auf die Welle
aufgesetzt wird.

Schleifscheibenarten. Wählen Sie die richtige Schleifscheibe
für die Arbeit. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Unterlegscheibe
mit ihrer flachen Seite auf der flachen Seite der Welle
aufliegt. Die Schleifscheibe sollte immer mit nach oben
weisender Schrift am Winkelschleifer montiert werden.
MONTAGE EINER NEUEN SCHLEIFSCHEIBE
Führen Sie die Schleifscheibe über die Welle und setzen Sie
sie auf die Unterlegscheibe. Die Unterlegscheibe hat einen
lippenförmigen Vorsprung. Der Durchmesser des Lochs in
der Schleifscheibe sollte dem Durchmesser des Vorsprungs
entsprechen, damit die Schleifscheibe mittig sitzt; bringen
Sie die Scheibenknebelmutter wieder an (Abb. 5). Ziehen
Sie mit den Fingern an, bis die Schleifscheibe festgeklemmt
ist. Drücken Sie die Spindelarretierung und ziehen Sie mit
dem mitgelieferten Schlüssel (Abb. 6) die Sicherungsscheibe
im Uhrzeigersinn fest, bis die Schleifscheibe festgeklemmt
aber nicht übermäßig angezogen ist. Entriegeln Sie die
Spindelarretierung und drehen Sie den Winkelschleifer um.
Der seitliche Griff kann je nach Bediener rechts oder links
an der Maschine montiert werden. Achten Sie darauf, dass
der seitliche Griff gesichert aber nicht zu fest angezogen
ist (Abb. 7). Schließen Sie den Winkelschleifer an eine
geeignete Netzsteckdose an. Eine geprüfte Fehlerstrom-
Schutzeinrichtung wird empfohlen. Im Zweifelsfall einen
Elektriker fragen!

Arbeiten mit einem Winkelschleifer sollten aus
Sicherheitsgründen immer in einem dazu geeigneten
Arbeitsbereich ausgeführt werden. Beim Schleifen
kommt es zur Funkenbildung. Ablagerungen in der
Nähe könnten durch die heißen Funken entzündet
werden und in Flammen aufgehen. Bitte lesen Sie alle
Sicherheitsanweisungen vor Gebrauch des Winkelschleifers.
STARTEN UND STOPPEN
8.3) Zuerst drücken Sie diese kleine Taste (ohne sie
loszulassen).
8.4) Drücken Sie die große Taste, um die Maschine
einzuschalten.
Sie können die erste Taste loslassen, während Sie den
Winkelschleifer einsetzen.
Lassen Sie die große Taste los, um die Maschine
auszuschalten.
Wenn das Gerät ein ungewöhnliches Geräusch
macht oder übermäßig vibriert, sofort ausschalten und
den Gerätestecker aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen.
Untersuchen Sie die Ursache oder wenden Sie sich an ein
Kundendienstzentrum. Um sie zu stoppen, lassen Sie den
Schalter los.
Abb. 9 zeigt einen typischen Schleifvorgang.
HINWEIS Die Schutzhaube wurde so positioniert, dass
die heißen Funken vom Maschinenbediener abgelenkt
werden. Beim Schleifen sollte die Schleifscheibe in einem
Winkel von 30º und 40º Grad zum Werkstück sein (Abb.9).
Bei Gebrauch der Schleifmaschine empfiehlt sich eine
regelmäßige Überprüfung
von Scheibenknebelmutter, Seitengriff und Schutzhaube.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass beim Metallschleifen schädliche
Staubpartikel frei werden, die Ihr Atmungssystem
beschädigen werden. Es wird empfohlen, eine zugelassene
Staubmaske von einem guten Händler zu beziehen.
NIEMALS die Schleifscheibe in ein Schmiermittel oder
Wasser eintauchen! Andernfalls kommt es zu einem
lebensgefährlichen Stromschlag! Der Winkelschleifer ist ein
Trockenschleifer.
Die Schutzhaube ist für verschiedene Arbeiten verstellbar.
Das Bild 9 zeigt, daß die Schutzhabe jeweils so eingestellt
wurde, dass die Funken von den Augen des Bedieners
abgelenkt werden. Siehe Sicherheitsanweisungen für
zusätzliche Schutzgeräte.
Das Netzkabel sollte immer hinter dem zu schleifenden
Werkstück liegen.
ACHTUNG!
Der Schallpegel für den Bediener könnte 85 dB(A)
überschreiten.
Der Bediener muss einen geeigneten Gehörschutz tragen.
