ISTRUZIONI ANTINFORTUNISTICHE GENERALI

Prima di accingersi ad azionare questa macchina, è importante

leggere, capire e seguire queste istruzioni con molta attenzione,

per garantire la sicurezza dell’operatore e dei circostanti, come

pure per garantire una lunga e sicura vita della macchina.

Imparare come usare l’ettroutensile, le sue limitazioni d’utilizzo

e i rischi potenziali che ne possono derivare.

Conservare queste istruzioni in un posto sicuro per la

consultazione futura.

Evitare le partenze involontarie -

Scollegare gli elettroutensili

Controllare sempre che le chiavette e le chiavi di regolazione

siano rimosse dall’elettroutensile prima di avviarlo.

Accertarsi che l’interruttore sia nella posizione di SPENTO

prima di collegare l’elettroutensile all’alimentazione di rete.

Accertarsi che gli elettroutensili siano scollegati dall’ali-

mentazione di rete quando non vengono utilizzati, prima

della manutenzione, lubrificazione o regolazione e quando si

sostituiscono accessori quali lame, punte e frese.

La ditta produttrice garantisce la macchina per 2 anni a partire dalla data d’acquisto. Questa garanzia non copre le macchine destinate

al noleggio. Ci impegniamo a sostituire eventuali parti che risultino imperfette per guasti o difetti di fabbricazione. In nessun caso la

garanzia comprenderà il rimborso o il pagamento di danni, diretti o indiretti. Sono inoltre esclusi dalla garanzia: accessori di consumo,

uso improprio, uso per scopi professionali e costi sostenuti per il trasporto e l’imballaggio dell’apparecchiatura, che saranno sempre

a carico del cliente. Eventuali articoli inviati per riparazioni con trasporto a carico del ricevente non saranno accettati. Si intende

inoltre che qualora la macchina venisse in qualsiasi modo modificata o utilizzata con accessori non approvati dalla ditta produttrice, la

garanzia ne verrà automaticamente invalidata. La ditta produttrice declina ogni responsabilità civile derivante dall’uso improprio della

macchina o dalla mancata osservanza delle istruzioni pertinenti il funzionamento, le impostazioni e la manutenzione. L’assistenza

sotto garanzia è ammissibile solo se la richiesta viene presentata al servizio post-vendita autorizzato ed è accompagnata dalla prova

d’acquisto. Si raccomanda subito dopo l’acquisto del prodotto di controllare che sia integro e di leggere attentamente le istruzioni

d’uso prima di utilizzarlo.

SMALTIMENTO DEL PRODOTTO

Quando questo prodotto deve essere eliminato perché non più utilizzabile o per altre ragioni, non può essere trattato come i normali

rifiuti quotidiani. Per la salvaguardia delle risorse naturali e per contenere al minimo possibili impatti ambientali pericolosi, provvedere

correttamente al riciclo o allo smaltimento del prodotto, portandolo al centro di raccolta rifiuti locale o in altro centro autorizzato. In

caso di dubbio, consultare l’ente locale responsabile della raccolta e dello smaltimento per essere informati su possibili alternative

riguardanti il riciclo e/o lo smaltimento.

Ispezionare le parti danneggiate

Prima di utilizzare ulteriormente l’elettroutensile, questo deve

essere controllato con attenzione per accertarsi che funzioni

correttamente e operi conformemente al suo uso specifico.

Controllare l’allineamento corretto delle parti in movimento,

accertarsi che non siano inceppate, controllare che non ci

siano componenti rotti e che l’elettroutensile sia montato

correttamente.

Verificare qualsiasi altra condizione che possa influire sul

funzionamento dell’elettroutensile.

Una protezione, o qualsiasi altra parte dell’elettroutensile che

sia danneggiata, deve essere riparata o sostituita da un centro

di manutenzione autorizzato, a meno di indicazione differente

contenuta in questo manuale d’istruzioni.

Qualsiasi interruttore che non funziona correttamente deve

essere sostituito da un centro di manutenzione autorizzato.

Non utilizzare l’elettroutensile se l’interruttore di ACCESO/

SPENTO non accende e spegne l’elettroutensile.

La polvere prodotta durante la lavorazione dei materiali è nociva

per la salute.

Si raccomanda di indossare una adatta mascherina anti-

polvere.

Durante l’esecuzione dei lavori utilizzare sempre i mezzi

protettivi personali: occhiali antinfortunistici, guanti, mascherina,

protezione auricolare, scarpe antinfortunistiche e antiscivolo.

Non indossare indumenti o gioielleria svolazzanti e raccogliere i

capelli lunghi in modo da evitare che possano restare impigliati

in organi in movimento.

Lavorare sempre su basi stabili.

Bloccare sempre saldamente con una morsa il pezzo da

lavorare.

Mantenere sempre pulita ed in ordine la zona di lavoro.

Manovrare l’elettroutensile usando sempre entrambe le mani.

Non aprire o modificare in alcun modo l’elettroutensile o i suoi

accessori.

Non esporre gli elettroutensili alla pioggia, o utilizzarli in

situazioni dove possano bagnarsi o inumidirsi.

Mantenere l’area di lavoro bene illuminata.

Non utilizzare gli elettroutensili nelle zone dove esista un pericolo

di esplosione o d’incendio dovuto a materiali combustibili, a

liquidi infiammabili, vernice, pittura, benzina, ecc. gas e polveri

infiammabili di natura esplosiva.

Fare attenzione ai bambini e agli animali domestici

I bambini e gli animali domestici devono essere tenuti fuori

dall’area di lavoro.

Tutti gli elettroutensili devono essere tenuti fuori dalla portata

dei bambini. Quando non sono in uso, è preferibile riporre gli

elettroutensili in un armadio o in una stanza asciutti e chiusi

a chiave.

Utilizzare l’utensile corretto

Scegliere l’utensile appropriato per il tipo di lavoro. Non utilizzare

un utensile per un lavoro per il quale non è stato progettato.

Non forzare un utensile piccolo a fare il lavoro di un utensile per

servizio pesante. Non utilizzare gli utensili per scopi a cui non

erano stati destinati.

Non forzare l’elettroutensile

L’elettroutensile farà un lavoro migliore, più sicuro e darà un

servizio migliore se verrà utilizzato alla velocità per cui è stato

progettato.

Eseguire sempre un’accurata manutenzione degli utensili

Mantenere affilati e puliti gli utensili da taglio onde ottenerne le

prestazioni migliori e più sicure.

Seguire le istruzioni di lubrificazione e sostituzione degli

accessori.

Mantenere le impugnature asciutte, pulite e prive di olio e

grasso.

Accertarsi che le fessure di ventilazione siano sempre mantenute

pulite e prive di polvere. Le fessure di ventilazione bloccate

possono causare il surriscaldamento e il danneggiamento del

motore.

Se questa macchina deve essere utilizzata quando si lavora ad

una certa altezza, deve essere utilizzato un ponteggio dotato di

ringhiera e battipiede o una piattaforma a torre, in modo tale da

garantire una adeguata stabilità.

PROTEGGERSI DALLE SCOSSE ELETTRICHE

Evitare il contatto del corpo con superfici messe a terra o

a massa (per esempio tubazioni, radiatori, lavastoviglie e

frigoriferi).

Cavi di alimentazione

Non strattonare o tirare il cavo di alimentazione per scollegarlo

dalla presa di alimentazione di rete.

Non trasportare mai l’elettroutensile afferrandone il cavo di

alimentazione. Tenere il cavo di alimentazione lontano da fonti

di calore, olio, solventi e spigoli vivi.

Ispezionare periodicamente il cavo di alimentazione dell’utensile

e, se danneggiato, farlo sostituire da un servizio di manutenzione

autorizzato.

Esaminare periodicamente i cavi di prolunga e sostituirli se

danneggiati.

NON utilizzare cavi o bobine di prolunga a due conduttori per

gli elettroutensili con un percorso di terra. Utilizzare sempre

un cavo o bobina di prolunga a tre conduttori con il filo di terra

collegato a terra.

Srotolare sempre completamente l’eventuale cavo di prolunga.

Per i cavi di prolunga fino a 15 metri utilizzare conduttori di

sezione trasversale di 1,5 mm

Per i cavi di prolunga più lunghi di 15 metri, ma meno di 40

metri, utilizzare conduttori di sezione trasversale di 2,5 mm

Proteggere il cavo di prolunga da oggetti affilati, calore eccessivo

e dall’esposizione all’umidità o all’acqua.

Questo elettroutensile soddisfa le normative nazionali e

internazionali e i requisiti di sicurezza. Le riparazioni devono

essere eseguite unicamente da personale qualificato,

utilizzando pezzi di ricambio originali. Se questo non viene

fatto ne pu

derivare un grave pericolo per l’utente.

Guardando la smerigliatrice dall’alto, il dispositivo di bloccaggio

dell’alberino si trova nella parte centrale anteriore della scatola

ingranaggi (Foto 2). I punti di attacco dell’impugnatura (perché

questa possa essere usata sia con la mano destra che con la

sinistra) sono situati su ciascun Iato della scatola ingranaggi

grigia nella parte anteriore della smerigliatrice angolare. Davanti

alla scatola ingranaggi grigia si trova una freccia di direzione

che indica il senso di rotazione del disco. L’interruttore On/Off

è situato sotto l’impugnatura posteriore. Rovesciare sul dorso

la smerigliatrice e localizzare la protezione regolabile del disco

(Foto 3). Si possono vedere l’alberino di trasmissione assieme

al dado di bloccaggio del disco ed alla rondella di rinforzo

(vedere il paragrafo che tratta del montaggio dei dischi di

taglio).

Durante l’uso della rettificatrice la protezione del disco

deve essere sempre montata.

Sistemare la protezione sul suo codolo di montaggio e fissarla

ANGOLARE

Attenzione!

Per nessun motivo si devono utilizzare dischi

diamantati per tagliare o smerigliare metalli.

I dischi da taglio e da smerigliatura sono soggetti a rotture e

vanno quindi utilizzati con la massima attenzione. L’utilizzo

di dischi danneggiati, montati in modo errato o consumati è

pericoloso e può causare seri infortuni.

I dischi da taglio e da smerigliatura vanno maneggiati e

trasportati con cura e devono essere conservati in modo da

evitare danni meccanici e contaminazione da sostanze che

potrebbero causare deterioramento del materiale legante.

Si devono rispettare tutte le informazioni sui dischi da taglio e

da smerigliatura relative a restrizioni d’uso, note di sicurezza

ed altro. In caso di dubbio in merito alla corretta scelta di dischi

da taglio e da smerigliatura, l’utente è pregato di chiedere

informazioni alla casa produttrice o al fornitore.

Prima di montarli e prima di ogni utilizzo i dischi devono essere

controllati visivamente per assicurarsi che non ci siano crepe,

scheggiature, usura eccessiva, contaminazione o qualsiasi altro

danno che possa comprometterne la sicurezza d’uso.

I dischi da taglio e da smerigliatura devono essere montati

rispettando le istruzioni del relativo manuale. Dopo aver montato

i dischi da taglio o da smerigliatura, azionare la macchina per

un ragionevole lasso di tempo e, se si avverte un rumore

inusuale o una vibrazione eccessiva, la macchina va spenta

immediatamente per individuarne la causa.

Tutte le protezioni devono essere montate in modo corretto e

fissate bene. La smerigliatrice angolare non va utilizzata senza

le protezioni.

Si devono indossare tutti i dispositivi di protezione individuale

adatti al lavoro da svolgere. Tali dispositivi devono includere

guanti adatti, cuffie antirumore, occhiali protettivi, maschera e

scarpe o stivali da lavoro con punta rinforzata in acciaio.

Utilizzare solo i dischi da taglio o da smerigliatura adatti al

lavoro da svolgere. L’utilizzo di un tipo non corretto di disco può

causare seri infortuni.

Quando si utilizza un disco da taglio evitare una pressione

laterale, il disco potrebbe bloccarsi nel taglio. Per riprendere un

taglio, infilare il disco nel taglio seguendone l’angolazione.

Quando si usa un disco da smerigliatura, l’angolo tra il disco ed

il pezzo in lavorazione deve essere tra i 30 ed i 40°.

Prima di appoggiare la smerigliatrice angolare sul tavolo da

lavoro o a terra bisogna spegnerla e attendere che il disco si

sia fermato.

Le smerigliatrici angolari non vanno utilizzate ad un’altezza

superiore a quella delle spalle.

I dischi da taglio o da smerigliatura non vanno utilizzati a velocità

superiori a quelle indicate sui dischi stessi.

Non utilizzare un disco da taglio come disco da smerigliatura.

I dischi da taglio e da smerigliatura vanno utilizzati a secco.

L’uso di acqua è molto pericoloso e può provocare scosse

elettriche.

Non utilizzare dischi più grandi di quanto specificato, utilizzare

solo dischi delle dimensioni corrette per la macchina.

La velocità di rotazione (giri/min.) (Rpm) mostrata sul disco deve

essere sempre SUPERIORE alla velocità di rotazione (giri/min.)

(Rpm) della macchina.

MONTAGGIO DEI DISCHI DA TAGLIO/

SMERIGLIATURA (FOTO 3 E 5)

Verificare che la smerigliatrice sia scollegata dalla presa di

corrente. Rovesciarla sul dorso (Foto 3). Localizzare e spingere

in basso il pulsante di bloccaggio dell’alberino. Servendosi della

chiave fornita in dotazione inserire i perni nei fori sul dado di

bloccaggio del disco. Ruotare la chiave in senso antiorario per

sbloccare questo dado. Se la rondella di rinforzo viene tolta,

occorre rimetterla al suo posto nel verso giusto. Il modo giusto

per montarla sull’albero è indicato nella Foto 5.

N.B. -

Esistono diversi tipi di disco per diverse applicazioni.

Scegliere quello più adatto al lavoro che si vuole eseguire.

Controllare che nella rondella di rinforzo le parti in piano siano

sistemate correttamente sull’albero. Il disco di taglio/rettifica

deve essere sistemato sulla smerigliatrice con la scritta rivolta

in alto.

MONTAGGIO DI UN DISCO NUOVO (FOTO 6 E 7)

Sistemare il disco sull’albero posizionandolo sopra la rondella di

rinforzo. Si può vedere che quest’ultima ha un bordo sollevato.

Il foro nel disco deve corrispondere al diametro del bordo

sollevato, tenendo il disco montato in posizione centrale (Foto

6). Rimontare il dado di bloccaggio (Foto 6). Stringere con le

dita sino a quando il disco è bloccato. Localizzare e spingere

in basso il dispositivo di bloccaggio dell’alberino e, servendosi

dell’apposita chiave (Foto 7), stringere la rondella di rinforzo in

senso orario sino a quando il disco è ben bloccato, ma senza

stringere eccessivamente. Allentare il dispositivo di bloccaggio

dell’alberino e rovesciare la smerigliatrice.

L’impugnatura laterale può essere montata su un Iato o sull’altro

dell’utensile a piacere dell’operatore (Foto 8); accertarsi che sia

ben fissata ma senza stringere eccessivamente.

Collegare la smerigliatrice ad una presa di corrente idonea. È

consigliabile usare un dispositivo per corrente residua (RCD)

omologato. In caso di dubbio, rivolgersi ad un elettricista

qualificato.

Per motivi di sicurezza la smerigliatrice angolare dovrebbe

sempre essere usata in una zona di lavoro appositamente

designata. Durante la smerigliatura o il taglio si generano scintille

roventi le quali potrebbero incendiare materiali infiammabili

che si trovano nelle vicinanze. Prima di usare la smerigliatrice

angolare, leggere tutte le norme di sicurezza.

AVVIO/ARRESTO E REGOLAZIONE DELLA

POSIZIONE DELL’IMPUGNATURA POSTERIORE

(FOTO 9).

Questo utensile è munito di un dispositivo di sicurezza contro

gli avviamenti accidentali. Per avviare l’utensile, tirare indietro

con il dito indice il grilletto di sicurezza (9.2) presente sul

pulsante di accensione (9.1) e premere contemporaneamente

il pulsante di accensione. Durante l’utilizzo è possibile rilasciare

la pressione del dito indice dal grilletto di sicurezza. Per l’arresto

rilasciare il pulsante d’accensione.

È possibile girare di 90° verso sinistra o destra l’impugnatura

posteriore. Tirare indietro il pulsante di blocco (9.3) e ruotare

l’impugnatura nel verso desiderato. Rilasciare il pulsante di

blocco assicurandosi che sia entrato completamente nella sua

sede.

Se l’apparecchio emette un rumore insolito o vibra

eccessivamente, spegnerlo immediatamente e staccarlo

dall’alimentazione di corrente. Indagare sulle cause o rivolgersi

ad un centro assistenza.

Nella Foto 10 viene eseguita una tipica operazione di taglio.

N.B. -

Quando si esegue questo tipo di taglio occorre indossare

guanti protettivi. Notare la posizione della protezione; cercare di

sistemarla sempre in questa posizione, in modo da deflettere le

scintille lontano dall’operatore.

Bloccare sempre il pezzo in lavorazione per mezzo di bride o

di una morsa.

La Foto 11 illustra una tipica operazione di smerigliatura.

N.B.

La protezione è stata sistemata in modo da deflettere

le scintille lontano dall’operatore. Le operazioni di smerigliatura

devono essere eseguite con il disco ad un angolo compreso fra

30° e 40° rispetto al pezzo in lavorazione (Foto 11).

Durante l’uso è consigliabile controllare periodicamente che

il dado di bloccaggio del disco, l’impugnatura laterale e la

protezione siano ben fissati.

Ricordare che il metallo di smerigliatura può generare particelle

di polvere dannose all’apparato respiratorio, per cui si consiglia

di acquistare una maschera antipolvere omologata presso un

rivenditore di fiducia.

Non immergere MAI il disco di taglio/smerigliatura in alcun tipo

di lubrificante, ivi compresa l’acqua. La smerigliatrice angolare

esegue operazioni di taglio/smerigliatura a secco. In caso

contrario si potrebbe causare una scossa elettrica letale.

La protezione può essere regolata per tipi diversi di lavoro. Le

foto 10 e 11 mostrano l’esecuzione di due tipi di lavoro, vale a

dire smerigliatura e taglio. Queste immagini illustrano come la

protezione sia stata regolata in modo da deflettere le scintille

lontano dagli occhi dell’operatore. Per ulteriori apparecchiature

di protezione vedere le norme di sicurezza.

Tenere sempre il cavo di alimentazione elettrica dietro al pezzo

che si sta tagliando o smerigliando.

GUARD AGAINST ELECTRIC SHOCK

Power Cords

Never yank or pull the power cord to disconnect it from the

mains supply socket.

Never carry the power tool by its power cord. Keep the power

Check the tool power cord periodically and if damaged have it

COMPONENTS AND CONTROLS (PIC. 1)

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

ANGLE GRINDER CONTROLS (PICS. 2 & 3)

Looking at the Angle Grinder from the top the spindle lock

is located at the front centre of the gearbox casing (Pic.2).

The location points for the handle (to suit left or right handed

operators) are located each side of the grey gearbox housing

at the front of the Angle Grinder. A direction arrow to show

the direction of disc rotation is located at the front of the grey

gearbox housing. The On/Off switch is located underneath the

rear hand grip. Turn the Angle Grinder onto its back and locate

the adjustable disc guard (Pic.3). The drive spindle can be seen

along with the disc locking nut and the backing disc washer

(Refer to installing the cutting discs).

FITTING THE DISC GUARD (PIC. 4)

NOTE:

The disc guard must be fitted to the Angle Grinder at all

times during use.

Locate the disc guard onto the guard mounting spigot and

secure by tightening the hex socket screw (Pic.4)

INSTALLING CUTTING/GRINDING DISCS

(PICS. 3 & 5)

Make sure the Angle Grinder is unplugged from the mains

supply socket. Turn the Angle Grinder onto its back (Pic.3).

Locate and depress the spindle lock button. Using the wrench

supplied insert the pins into the holes on the disc clamping nut.

Turn the wrench anti-clockwise to release the disc clamping nut.

If the disc backing washer is removed it must be replaced the

correct way round. The correct way to fit this onto the shaft can

be seen in Pic.5.

SAFE USE OF ANGLE GRINDER CUTTING AND

GRINDING DISCS

Warning!

Under no circumstances should any type of diamond

coated disc be used for cutting or grinding metals

Grinding and cutting discs are breakable and should be handled

with the utmost care. The use of damaged, incorrectly mounted

or worn grinding and cutting discs is dangerous and can cause

serious injury.

Grinding and cutting discs should be handled and transported

with care grinding and cutting discs should be stored in such

a way as to prevent mechanical damage and contamination

with substances that could cause deterioration of the bonding

material.

The information on the grinding and cutting discs relating to

restriction of use, safety indications or any other information

should be followed. In case of doubt concerning the correct

selection of grinding and cutting discs the user should request

information from the manufacturer or supplier.

Before mounting and before each use the grinding or cutting disc

should be visually inspected for any cracks, chips, excessive

wear, contamination or any other damage that could affect safe

operation.

The grinding or cutting disc should be mounted in accordance

with the instructions in the product manual. After mounting the

grinding or cutting disc should be run for a reasonable time, if

any unusual noise or excessive vibration is evident the machine

must be stopped immediately and the cause investigated.

All guards must be correctly and securely fitted and positioned

correctly. The angle grinder must not be used without the guard

fitted.

Personal protective equipment suitable for the work being carried

out should be worn. Personal protective equipment should

include, suitable work gloves, ear protection, eye protection,

respiratory protection and steel toe cap shoes or boots..

Only use grinding or cutting disc suitable for the work being

done and observe all safety instructions and restrictions of use.

Use of the wrong type of grinding or cutting disc could result in

serious injury.

When using a cutting disc, the disc should be prevented from

jamming in the cut by the use of side pressure. When cutting off

the cutting disc should be placed in the cutting gap in a straight

position.

When using a grinding disc the angle between the grinding disc

and work piece should be between 30° and 40°.

Before placing the angle grinder on the workbench or floor it

must be switched off and the grinding or cutting disc must have

stopped rotating.

Angle grinders must not be used above shoulder height.

Grinding or cutting discs must not be run at a rotational speed

greater than that shown on the grinding or cutting disc.

Cutting discs must not be used for face or side grinding.

Grinding and cutting discs must be used dry. Using water is

highly dangerous and could result in an electric shock.

Do not use discs that are larger than specified, only use discs

that are rated for the angle grinder.

The rotational speed (RPM) shown on the disc should always be

HIGHER than the rotational speed (RPM) of the angle grinder.

NOTE:

There are different types of discs used for different

applications. Select the correct one for the work being done.

Make sure the disc backing washer flats are located correctly

with the flats on the shaft. The cutting/grinding disc should be

placed onto the Angle Grinder with the writing facing upwards.

INSTALLING A NEW DISC (PICS. 6 & 7)

Place the disc over the shaft locating it onto the disc backing

washer. It can be seen that the backing washer has a raised lip.

The hole in the disc should match the diameter of the raised lip,

keeping the disc mounted central (Pic.6) Refit the disc clamping

nut (Pic.6). Tighten with fingers until the disc is clamped. Locate

and depress the spindle lock and using the supplied wrench,

(Pic.7) tighten the locking washer in a clockwise direction until

the disc is firmly clamped but do not over tighten. Release the

spindle lock and turn the Angle Grinder over.

The side handle can be fitted to either side of the machine to

suit the operator (Pic.8) ensure that the side handle is secured

but do not over tighten.

Connect the Angle Grinder to a suitable mains supply socket. It

is advisable to use an approved Residual current device (RCD).

If in doubt consult an approved electrician.

FOR YOUR SAFETY PLEASE FOLLOW THE THESE

Working with an Angle Grinder should always be done in a

suitable designated work area for safety reasons. Hot sparks

are generated when grinding or cutting. Any debris nearby could

be ignited resulting in a fire. Read all the safety instructions

before using the Angle Grinder.

START/STOP AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE POSITION

OF THE REAR GRIP (PHOTO 9).

This tool is fitted with a safety device that prevents accidental

activation. To start the tool, use your index finger to pull back the

safety trigger (9.2) on the ON/OFF button (9.1) and press the

ON/OFF button at the same time. While using the tool, you can

relax the pressure of your index finger on the safety trigger. To

stop, press the ON/OFF button.

The rear grip can be rotated 90° top the left or right. Pull back the

lock key (9.3) and turn the grip in the direction required. Release

the lock button making sure that it has returned completely in

its housing.

If the machine makes an unfamiliar sound or vibrates excessively

switch it off immediately and disconnect from the power supply.

Investigate the cause or consult a service centre for advice.

A typical cutting operation is being performed in Pic.10.

NOTE:

Protective gloves should be worn when performing this

type of cutting. Note the position of guard; always try to position

the guard so that it deflects hot sparks away from the operator.

Wherever possible the work piece should always be secured in

a clamp or vice.

Pic.11 shows a typical grinding operation.

NOTE:

The guard has been positioned to deflect hot sparks

away from operator. Grinding operations should be done with

the disc at an angle of between 30° and 40° to the work piece

(Pic.11).

During use it is advisable to periodically check the security of

the disc clamping nut, side handle and disc guard.

Be aware that grinding metal can cause harmful dust particles

that will damage your respiratory system and it is advised that

an approved dust mask is obtained from a reputable dealer.

NEVER immerse the grinding/cutting disc into any type of

lubricant including water. The Angle Grinder is a dry grinder/

cutter. Failure to observe will result in a fatal electric shock.

The guard is adjustable for different types of work. Pic’s 10 & 11

show two types of work being performed ie. grinding and cutting.

This shows how the guard has been adjusted to deflect the

sparks away from the operators eyes. See safety instructions

for additional protective equipment.

Always keep mains power lead to the rear of the work being

cut or ground.

The sound intensity level for the operator may exceed 85dB (A).

Suitable ear protection must be worn by the operator.

MISE AU REBUT DU PRODUIT

Lorsqu’il doit être mis au rebut car devenu inutilisable ou pour d’autres raisons, ce produit ne peut être traité comme les déchets

ordinaires. En vue de protéger les ressources naturelles et minimiser les impacts nuisibles pour l’environnement, procéder

correctement au recyclage ou à la mise au rebut du produit, en le confiant à un centre local de ramassage des ordures ou à un autre

Lors de l'exécution des travaux, toujours utiliser des dispositifs

de protection individuels: lunettes de protection, gants, masque,

Ne pas porter de vêtements amples ou de bijoux; attacher les

cheveux longs, pour éviter qu'ils ne restent coincés dans des

organes mobiles.

Toujours travailler sur des bases stables.

Toujours bloquer solidement la pièces à usiner entre les

mâchoires d'un étau.

Veiller à ce que la zone de travail soit toujours propre et

parfaitement en ordre.

Toujours saisir l’outil électrique des deux mains.

Ne pas ouvrir ou modifier en aucune manière l’outil électrique

ou ses accessoires.

Ne pas exposer les outils électriques à la pluie; ne pas les

utiliser dans des conditions les exposant à l'eau ou à l'humidité.

La zone de travail doit être parfaitement éclairée.

Ne pas utiliser les outils électriques dans des zones présentant

des risques d'explosion ou d'incendie dus à la présence

de matériaux combustibles, de liquides inflammables, de

peintures, d'essence, de gaz ou de poussières inflammables

de nature explosive.

Veiller aux enfants et aux animaux domestiques

Les enfants et les animaux domestiques doivent être éloignés

de la zone de travail.

Tous les outils électriques doivent être maintenus loin de

la portée des enfants. Lorsqu'ils ne sont pas utilisés, il est

préférable de ranger les outils électriques dans un placard ou

un local secs, fermant à clé.

Utiliser l'outil correct

Choisir l’outil approprié pour chaque type de travail. Ne pas

utiliser un outil pour exécuter une opération autre que celle

pour laquelle il a été prévu. Ne pas forcer un outil de petites

dimensions, en l'utilisant à la place d'un outil plus puissant. Ne

pas utiliser les outils pour des applications différentes de celles

pour lesquelles ils sont été conçus.

Maintenir les outils tranchants affûtés et propres, afin d'assurer

Respecter les instructions de graissage et de remplacement

des accessoires. Les poignées doivent être sèches, propres et

exemptes d'huile ou de graisse.

S'assurer que les fentes de ventilation sont toujours propres et

exemptes de poussière. L'obstruction des fentes de ventilation

peut provoquer la surchauffe et l'endommagement du moteur.

Si cet appareil doit être utilisé pour exécuter des travaux en

hauteur, il est nécessaire de prévoir un échafaudage pourvu

d'un garde-fou et d'un rebord ou encore une plate-forme

aérienne, de manière à garantir une parfaite stabilité.

PROTECTION CONTRE LES RISQUES

D'ELECTROCUTION

Eviter tout contact du corps avec des surfaces mises à la terre

ou à la masse (par exemple, canalisations, radiateurs, lave-

vaisselle et réfrigérateurs).

Cables d'alimentation

Ne pas secouer ou tirer le câble d'alimentation pour le

débrancher de la prise de courant.

Ne jamais déplacer l'outil électrique en le tirant par son câble

d'alimentation. Eloigner le câble d'alimentation des sources de

chaleur, de l'huile, des solvants et des angles vifs.

Vérifier périodiquement le câble d'alimentation de l'outil; si

endommagé, le faire remplacer par un centre après-vente agréé.

Examiner périodiquement les câbles de rallonge et, si

endommagés, procéder à leur remplacement.

NE PAS utiliser de câbles ou de bobines de rallonge à deux

conducteurs avec les outils électriques comportant un parcours

de mise à la terre. Toujours utiliser un câble ou une bobine de

rallonge à trois conducteurs, avec le fil de terre relié à la terre.

Toujours dérouler complètement l'éventuel câble de rallonge.

Pour les câbles de rallonge mesurant jusqu'à 15 mètres, utiliser

des conducteurs ayant une section transversale de 1,5mm

Pour les câbles de rallonge mesurant entre 15 et 40 mètres, utiliser

des conducteurs ayant une section transversale de 2,5mm

Protéger le câble prolongateur contre tout contact avec des

objets tranchants ainsi que contre l'exposition à une chaleur

COMPOSANTS ET COMMANDES (FIG. 1)

MODE D’EMPLOI

COMMANDES DE LA MEULEUSE D’ANGLE (FIG. 2 & 3)

Lorsqu’on regarde la meuleuse d’angle du dessus, le verrou de

la broche se trouve à l’avant, au centre du boîtier de la boîte

de vitesse (Fig. 2). Les points de positionnement de la poignée

(pour les opérateurs gauchers ou droitiers) sont de chaque côté

de la boîte de vitesse grise à l’avant de la meuleuse d’angle.

L’avant du boîtier de la boîte de vitesse grise comporte une

flèche de direction indiquant le sens de rotation du disque. Le

commutateur Marche/Arrêt se trouve sous la poignée arrière.

Retournez la meuleuse d’angle sur le dos et trouvez la protection

de disque réglable (Fig. 3). La broche d’entraînement est visible

ainsi que l’écrou de blocage du disque et la rondelle de fixation

du disque (Cf. le mode d’installation des disques de coupe).

NOTE:

La meuleuse d’angle doit toujours être équipée de la

protection de disque lorsqu’elle est en service.

Placez la protection du disque sur le goujon de montage et

fixez-la en place en serrant la vis hexagonale (Fig. 4).

MESURES DE SECURITE POUR L’UTILISATION

DES DISQUES A TRANCHER ET DE LA PONCEUSE

ANGULAIRE

Attention!

Il est impérativement défendu d’utiliser des disques

diamantés pour trancher ou poncer des métaux.

Les disques à trancher et à poncer sont sujets à des ruptures

et doivent donc être utilisés avec une attention maximale.

L’utilisation de disques endommagés, non installés correctement

ou usés, est dangereuse et peut être à l’origine de graves

accidents.

Les disques à trancher et à poncer doivent être manipulés et

transportés avec soin. Ils doivent être stockés de manière à

éviter tout endommagement mécanique et toute contamination

due à des substances susceptibles de détériorer le matériau

liant.

Respecter toutes les prescriptions en matière de limitations

d’utilisation, de sécurité, etc., des disques à trancher et à poncer.

En cas de doutes à propos du choix des disques à trancher et

à poncer, l’utilisateur est prié de se renseigner auprès de leur

fabricant ou fournisseur.

Avant d’être installés et utilisés, les disques doivent être

soumis à un contrôle visuel pour vérifier l’absence de fissures,

d’ébréchures, de traces d’usure excessive, de contamination

ou de toute autre détérioration susceptible de compromettre

leur sécurité d’utilisation.

Les disques à trancher et à poncer doivent être installés en

respectant les instructions contenues dans la notice livrée

de série. Après avoir monté les disques à trancher ou à

poncer, mettre la machine en marche durant un laps de temps

raisonnable. Si l’on entend un bruit anormal ou des vibrations

excessives, mettre immédiatement la machine hors tension et

localiser l’origine du problème.

Toutes les protections doivent être montées et fixées

correctement. La ponceuse angulaire ne doit pas être utilisée

en l’absence de protections.

Porter tous les dispositifs de protection individuelle prescrits

pour le travail à accomplir. Parmi ces dispositifs figurent :

gants spécifiques, protections auditives, lunettes de protection,

masques, chaussures ou bottes de travail, avec la pointe

renforcée en acier.

N’utiliser que de disques à trancher ou à poncer expressément

conçus pour les opérations à exécuter. L’utilisation d’un type de

disque non correct peut provoquer de graves accidents.

Lors de l’utilisation d’un disque à trancher, éviter d’exercer une

pression latérale : le disque pourrait se bloquer dans l’entaille.

Pour reprendre l’opération, engager le disque dans l’entaille, en

suivant l’angle de celle-ci.

En cas d’utilisation d’un disque à poncer, l’angle entre ce dernier

et la pièce à usiner doit être compris entre 30° et 40°.

Avant de poser la ponceuse angulaire sur la table de travail

ou au sol, il est nécessaire de l’éteindre et d’attendre l’arrêt du

disque.

Les ponceuses angulaires ne doivent pas être utilisées à une

hauteur supérieure à celle des épaules.

Les disques à trancher ou à poncer ne doivent pas être utilisés

à une vitesse supérieure à celle indiquée sur les disques eux-

mêmes.

Ne jamais utiliser un disque à trancher pour poncer.

Les disques à trancher et à poncer doivent être utilisés à sec.

L’utilisation d’eau est très dangereuse et peut entraîner des

risques d’électrocution.

N’utilisez pas de disques de plus grande dimension que celle

indiquée. Utilisez exclusivement des disques adaptés à la

meuleuse d’angle. La vitesse de rotation (tr/mn) du disque doit

toujours être SUPERIEURE à la vitesse de rotation (tr/mn) de

la meuleuse d’angle.
