• If motor base does not
shut o after 1 minute
during smoothie cycle, stop
it manually by depressing
the blue illuminated power
button, located 90˚ to the
left side of the n-Button
or simply lift cup o motor
base.
• To turn o the machine
at anytime during the
smoothie cycle (n-Button
will be green), depress
the power button, located
90˚ to the left side of
the n-Button or simply
lift the cup o the motor
base. If you press the
n-Button for 2 seconds
during extraction and
the light turns orange,
you are in souperblaster
mode. WARNING:
Never use sealed cups
in souperlaster mode!
Depress the power button,
located 90˚ to the left
side of the n-Button and
simply lift the cup o the
motor base to turn o the
unit. The light will stop
glowing, signifying power
is o. Always unplug
the motor base upon
completion of processing.
• Do not touch coupling
gear directly with hands
after smoothie mode! The
coupling gear in blade
base and motor base
will be hot!
• Do not run in smoothie
mode for more than
1 cycle without allowing
motor base to cool
between cycles.
• If additional extraction is
required after first cycle,
first remove cup and
allow motor base to shut
o completely. Wait 15
seconds before returning
cup to motor base to start
another cycle.
• If you have run 3 cycles,
with 15 second rest
periods between each,
allow the ingredients to
settle and the motor base
to cool for 2-3 minutes
before attempting another
cycle.
• If you have run more
than 5 cycles in total,
allow the machine to cool
down for 10 minutes to
prevent overheating and
damaging the unit.
• Motor base is equipped
with an internal thermal
breaker that shuts o
the motor base if the
unit overheats.
• If the motor base
overheats and shuts
o, unplug the motor
base and press the blue
illuminated power button,
located 90˚ to the left
of the n-Button and let
it cool for an hour or
more before attempting
to use it again. Motor
base will reset when the
unit is powered o and
the thermal breaker has
cooled down suciently.
• When making nut butters
or oil-based foods, due to
the consistency, the food
will process and then stick
to the sides of the pitcher.
It is best to process
these types of foods in
30 second increments.
