BLADE SAFETY
BLADES ARE SHARP! HANDLE
CAREFULLY. To avoid laceration injury,
do not handle or touch any blade edge.
• Never store a blade in the motor
base unattached to a nutribullet®
cup. An exposed blade can present
a laceration hazard.
• AVOID CONTACT WITH MOVING
PARTS! To reduce the risk of severe
personal injury, keep hands and
utensils out of and away from the
blade while blending food.
• To prevent leakage and the possible
separation of components during
operation, properly align and
securely attach (hand tighten) the
blade to the nutribullet®cup. Check
for leakage before placing it on the
motor base and operating.
• Once you have finished using your
nutribullet®, wait to remove the
cup|blade assembly from the motor
base until the motor comes to a
complete stop and the unit powers
down completely. Taking the cup
o the unit prior to complete power
down can cause damage to the
blade coupling and/or motor gear.
NEVER BLEND WITHOUT LIQUID AS
DOING SO MAY DAMAGE THE BLADE
OR MOTOR.
• Your nutribullet®blender is not
intended to be used as an ice
crusher or without liquids. Always
add liquid to your recipe.
• CAUTION: Avoid blending pits in the
nutribullet® as these can damage
the blade.
• DO NOT USE the extractor blade
for grinding dry ingredients such
as grains, cereal, or coee, as this
may damage the motor and/or the
blade. For that purpose nutribullet®
milling blades are available via local
points of sale.
CUP SAFETY
To avoid leakage, do not overfill the
cup! Make sure your ingredients and
liquid do not exceed the MAX line as
this can result in leakage and may
create a dangerous pressurization
which can cause the cup|blade
assembly to separate.
• Cups and blades are specific to the
exact model of nutribullet®. Use of
incompatible parts or parts from
other models may result in damage
or create safety hazards.
• Periodically inspect all components
for damage or wear.
• Discontinue use and replace
blending cups if you detect cracking,
cloudiness or any other damage to
the cup, tabs on the cup, or actuator
tabs of the motor base.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
To avoid the risk of electrical shorting,
fire, electric shock, personal injury or
product damage:
• Do not use your nutribullet®in
locations with dierent electrical
specifications or plug types or with
any type of plug adapter or voltage
converter device.
• Do not modify the plug or motor
base in any way as doing so will void
the product’s warranty.
• Never immerse the cord, plug, or
motor base in water or other liquids
which can conduct an electrical
current.
• Always POWER OFF and UNPLUG
the nutribullet®when it’s not in
use, and BEFORE assembling,
disassembling, changing accessories
and cleaning.
• Periodically inspect the cord, plug
and machine for damage. Do not
operate with a damaged plug or
cord.
• Do not allow the cord to hang over
the edge of a table or counter and
do not allow to touch hot surfaces,
including a stove.
•
Do not pull or damage the power cord.
• Cease operation of your nutribullet®
if it has been dropped or damaged,
or if it malfunctions in any manner
(including making a louder-than-
normal or abnormal sound when
blending).
• CAUTION: In order to avoid
a hazard due to inadvertent
resetting of the thermal cut-out,
this appliance must not be supplied
through an external switching
device, such as a timer, or connected
to a circuit that is regularly switched
on and o by the utility.
• If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
• If the motor stops working, unplug
the motor base and let it cool for at
least 15 minutes before attempting
to use it again. Your nutribullet®
has an internal thermal breaker
that shuts o the motor when it
overheats. This thermal breaker will
reset when the unit is unplugged,
and the thermal breaker has cooled
down suciently.
VENTILATION SAFETY
The motor base features ventilated
openings on the bottom to ensure
reliable operation and prevent over-
heating.
• To prevent a fire hazard, make
sure that these openings remain
unobstructed by dust, lint, or other
materials.
• Never place your nutribullet® on
top of flammable items such as
newspapers, tablecloths, napkins,
dish towels, place mats or other
similar materials.
CAUTION! Always operate the
nutribullet®on a dry level surface,
leaving unobstructed space beneath
and around the motor base to permit
proper air circulation.
MICROWAVE & STOVETOP
HEATING SAFETY
Do not place the nutribullet® or any
of its parts in a microwave, oven or
stove-top pot or immerse in boiling
water as this may result in damage.
