6. Adjustment & operation
6.1 Film Loading
The film Holder is driven by a motor.
Depends on the position of the tensioning roll, the motor will turn to unwind
the film.
Measure the width of the film and adjust the fixed pulley, then put in the film
roll and lock it with the adjustable pulley as show in the diagram below.
To put the film into the machine, first cut the end on the film into a triangle
Insert the film by passing to all the rolls shown in the next diagram into the
forming tube, use manual function to move film forward ( see chapter 7.3
Manual Page )

Ocean VH200

Check the edge on both sides of the film after entering the forming tube.
If not equal the “Error Correct” function ( see Chapter 7.2 ) may be used to
make it equal. With the Error Correction the whole frame where the rolls are
connected is moving either to the left or right side.
When the film roll is almost finished, cut the film on the film roll, change a new
film roll and stick the end from the old film roll and the new film roll together
with packing tape in case of printed film, make sure the picture is proper
aligned.

6.3 Adjustment of Sensor
The Photocell sensor will detect the color mark which marks the length of the
film.
To adjust the sensor first move into the right position.
Normally the LED underneath the regulator is always on.
Manually pull the film with the color mark forward and backward over the
sensor while turning the regulator until the LED turn off when the color mark
pass by the sensor.

6.4 Film Pulling Belt Pressure adjustment
The accuracy of the bag length depends on the movement of the film pull belt
Compressed Air is used to pull the Film pull belt forward onto the film.
7. PLC Screen & Operations
After turn on the power; the control panel will show following menu (Picture 1)

8. Maintenance
8.1. Film pulling belt replacement
The film pull belt should be checked everyday. If it wares out the film tends to
slip, it must be replaced. First open the cover, loosen the M12 bolt and nut, turn
the M6 screw to make the up pulley move down. Take out the old belt and
replace it with a new belt. Adjust the tension of the belt properly, neither too
tight nor too loose.
8.2. Maintenance
8.2.1. You must clean the machine daily. Use compressed air to clean any dust
on the machine. Use the brass brush clean the horizontal or vertical seal bars.
8.2.2. The former must be clean routinely. Make a mark before you remove the
former from machine to make sure it will be placed back to the original position
after cleaning.
8.2.3. The knife should be checked after a period of working. It must be
re-sharpened or replaced with a new knife if any damage has been found.
8.2.4. When storing the machine for a long time, you must cut off all of the
power and clean the machine thoroughly. Before re-use, the machine must be
tested and adjusted. All the electrical components and their connections must
be checked carefully before turn on power.
