OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed
control device. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.
WARNING: This productemploysoverload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or
short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user
servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the
replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to
an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION:
Use this fan only as described in this manual. Improper usage maycause fire, electric shock or personal
injury.
To protect against electric shock, do not place fan on windowsills, immerse unit,plug or cord in water.
Do not spray with liquid or use near water sources.
This product is intended for residential use ONLY. DO NOT use outdoors.

This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates anoverload or short-circuit
situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from theoutlet. Replace the fuse as per the user
servicing instructions (follow productmarking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the
replacement fuseblows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded orreturned
to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
Turn the fan OFF and unplug from the outlet when not in use, before movingand before cleaning.
To unplug the fan, first turn the unit OFF, grip the plug and pull from outlet.Never pull or tug by the cord
to remove from the outlet.
DO NOT operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan orreturn to an authorized service
facility for examination and/or repair.
DO NOT run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs,runners, or similar coverings. Do
not route cord under furniture or appliances.Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be
tripped over.
DO NOT operate the fan if fan housing is damaged.
Always use the fan on a dry leveled surface.
DO NOT operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
DO NOT place or operate the fan near open flame or sources of heat (stove,fireplace, etc.).
The use of unauthorized attachments is not recommended. This may causefire, electrical shock, or
injury.
This unit is designed for use on a 120V/60Hz outlet only.
DO NOT insert fingers or any objects through the grill during use. Avoidcontact with moving parts.
A loose fit between the AC outlet and plug may cause overheating and distortionof the plug. If it occurs,
contact a qualified electrician to replace worn outlet.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, itsservice agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
The plastic feet on this product may interact with wood and cause damage tofurniture. DO NOT place
on fine wood furniture.
WARNING:
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) withreduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience andknowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerninguse of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with theappliance.
FUSED PLUG:
This plug is a safety feature. It contains a safetydevice (fuse) that should not be removed. Discardthe product if the
attachment plug is damaged. Toreduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personalinjury, DO NOT remove, replace,
repair or tamperwith the originally supplied plug. If the fan doesnot function properly, it may be due to the
safetydevice incorporated in this plug.
If the fuse fails, it is generally due to a short circuitor circuit overload. Replace the fuse as per theinstructions below.
If the replacement fuse fails,immediately unplug the unit and contact ourtechnical support department for assistance.
Fuse Replacement:
1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle orother outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling oncord. Locate the
door on top of the plug.
2. Open fuse cover. Slide open fuse access cover ontop of attachment plug towards blades.
3. Turn fuse holder over to remove fuse. Remove fusecarefully.
Warning! Electrical Hazard!Risk of fire. Replacefuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse. If the productfails a second
time, immediately unplug it and contactour technical support at 1-888-880-3267.
4. Gently push the fuse back into the pins that will holdit in place.
Note: If the fuse is not seated properly, the unit will notfunction.
5. Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug.
6. Plug the fan back in and resume use. Risk of fire. Do not replace attachmentplug. Contains a safety device (fuse)
that should not be removed. Discardproduct if the attachment plug is damaged.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Unscrew three (3) Locking Screws from the bottom of the
Fan Body.
2. Pass the Power Cord through the center hole of the Fan
Base, and firmly snap the two halves of the Fan Base
together.
3. Secure the Fan Base to the Fan Body with the Locking
Screws from Step 1. Tighten the Locking Screws firmly.
4. Place the Power Cord through the cut out on the bottom of
the Fan Base.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Set the Fan Base on a dry, level surface.
2. Plug cord into any standard 120 volt AC outlet. Make sure
the Speed Control Switch is in the ‘0’ (Off) position.
3. The SPEED is adjusted by turning the Speed Control
Switch to 1, 2 or 3.
4. This fan has OSCILLATION function. Turn the Speed
Control Switch to the left side for oscillating function.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:
WARNING:
Always unplug from electrical supply source before cleaning.
Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing.
Be sure to use a soft cloth moistened with mild soap solution. Do not use harmful cleaners.
Cleaning
Plastic parts shall be cleaned with mild soap and a soft, moist cloth or sponge. Thoroughly remove soap film with
clean water.
User Maintenance
This fan is permanently lubricated and will not require additional lubrication (oil) for the life of the fan. This fan
requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or
mechanical functions on this unit.
USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS:
If the fuse blows, replace it as follows:
1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
2. Open fuse cover. Slide open fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.
3. Remove fuse carefully.Push the fuse from the other side or turn fuseholder over to remove fuse.
4. Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided with product).
5. Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug.
