Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für ein Oehlbach®-Qualitätsprodukt entschieden haben. Bitte lesen Sie
diese Bedienungsanleitung ausführlich, um eine uneingeschränkte und fehlerfreie Funktion des Gerätes zu
gewährleisten.
Der Oehlbach®BTR Evolution 5.1 ist ein Bluetooth®5.1 2in1 Adapter.
Im TX-Modus können Audiosignale über die RCA Schnittstelle angenommen und schnurlos vom BTR
Evolution 5.1 an andere Bluetooth®-fähige Geräte gesendet werden. Im RX-Modus können Sie ganz einfach
Musik oder Toninhalte vom Smartphone, Tablet oder Computer schnurlos an den BTR Evolution 5.1 senden
und analog über die RCA oder SPDIF Schnittstelle ausgeben.
Beides geschieht dank aptX™HD Unterstützung in CD-Qualität. Durch das Low Latency Feature erreicht der
BTR Evolution 5.1 eine äußerst geringe Latenz von weniger als 40 ms und überträgt den Ton ohne merkliche
Verzögerung.

Bedienung
BTR Evolution 5.1 im RX-Modus
Im RX (Receiver) Modus kann der BTR Evolution 5.1 als Bluetooth®-Empfänger genutzt werden. Hier kann
mithilfe des BTR Evolution 5.1 ein Audiosignal von einem Bluetooth®-fähigen Gerät (hier als Beispiel ein
Smartphone) zu einem nicht Bluetooth®-fähigen Gerät (hier als Beispiel ein Radio) gesendet werden.
1. Stecken Sie die benötigten Stecker Ihres Radios in die korrekte Buchse (SPDIF/RCA Output) und
stellen den Schalter auf die richtige Position (RX) ein.
2. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Multifunktionsschalter drei Sekunden lang drücken. Die
blaue LED blinkt dreimal, wenn kein Gerät gespeichert ist. Drücken Sie den Multifunktionsschalter
zweimal, damit der BTR in den Pairing-Modus gelangt.
3. Schalten Sie Bluetooth®an Ihrem Smartphone ein und bestätigen Sie die Kopplung mit dem BTR.
4. Jetzt können Sie die Musik von Ihrem Smartphone auf Ihrem Radio hören.
Dual-in-Betrieb
Hiermit können Sie ein zweites Gerät (hier als Beispiel ein zweites Smartphone) verbinden.
1. Drücken Sie zweimal den Multifunktionsschalter, um den BTR erneut in den Pairing-Modus zu verset-
zen. In manchen Fällen wird das erste verbundene Gerät getrennt.
2. Schalten Sie Bluetooth®an Ihrem zweiten Smartphone ein und bestätigen Sie die Kopplung

4. Sie können jetzt von beiden Geräten aus Musik abspielen.
BTR Evolution 5.1 im TX-Modus
Im TX (Transmitter) Modus kann der BTR Evolution 5.1 als Bluetooth®-Sender genutzt werden. Hier kann
mithilfe des BTR Evolution 5.1 ein Audiosignal von einem nicht Bluetooth®fähigen Gerät (hier als Beispiel
ein TV-Gerät) zu einem Bluetooth®-fähigen Empfangsgerät (hier als Beispiel Wireless Kopfhörer) gesendet
werden.
1. Stecken Sie die benötigten Stecker Ihres TV-Geräts in die korrekte Buchse (SPDIF/RCA Input) und
versetzen Sie den BTR in den Sendemodus (TX).
2. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Multifunktionsschalter drei Sekunden lang drücken. Die
blaue LED blinkt dreimal, wenn kein Gerät gespeichert ist. Drücken Sie den Multifunktionsschalter
zweimal, damit der BTR in den Pairing-Modus gelangt.
3. Schalten Sie Ihre Bluetooth®-fähigen Kopfhörer ein und bringen Sie diesen auch in den Pairing-
Modus. Stellen Sie die Bluetooth®-Verbindung zwischen Ihren Kopfhörern und dem BTR her.
4. Jetzt können Sie den Ton von Ihrem TV-Gerät auf Ihren Bluetooth®-fähigen Kopfhörern hören.
Dual-Link-Betrieb
Hiermit können Sie ein zweites Gerät (hier als Beispiel einen zweiten Bluetooth®-fähigen Kopfhörer) verbin-
den.
1. Drücken Sie zweimal die Einschalttaste, um den BTR in den Pairing-Modus zu versetzen. In manchen
Fällen wird der erste verbundene Kopfhörer getrennt.
2. Schalten Sie Ihre Bluetooth®-fähigen Kopfhörer ein und bringen sie in den Pairing-Modus. Stellen Sie

die Bluetooth®-Verbindung zwischen Ihren Kopfhörern und dem BTR her.
3. In manchen Fällen müssen Sie den ersten Kopfhörer nochmals verbinden.
4. Jetzt können Sie von beiden Kopfhörern aus den Ton hören.
Funktionsweisen
Ausschalten
∙ Drücken Sie den Multifunktionsschalter 2 Sekunden lang, um das Gerät auszuschalten. Die rote LED
blinkt einmal.
Automatisches Ausschalten
∙ Ist das Gerät für 5 Minuten im Pairing-Modus ohne Verbindung, schaltet sich der BTR automatisch aus.
Modus ändern TX/RX
∙ Schalten Sie den TX (Transmitter) oder RX (Receiver) Modus nur bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät um.
Audioaus-/eingänge ändern RCA/SPDIF
∙ Mit diesem Schalter können Sie die Audioaus-/eingänge wählen.
Übertragungsqualität
Der BTR Evolution 5.1 kann die Bluetooth®-Übertragungsqualität anzeigen. Hierbei steht im TX Modus die:
∙ Blaue LED für SBC
∙ Grüne LED für APTX™
∙ Weiße LED für APTX™-LL
∙ Rote und blaue LED zusammen für APTX™ HD
Auch im RX Modus wird die Übertragungsqualität wie folgt veranschaulicht:
∙ Blaue LED für SBC
∙ Rote LED für AAC
∙ Grüne LED für APTX™
∙ Weiße LED für APTX™-LL
∙ Rote und blaue LED für APTX™-HD
Sobald kein Audiosignal übertragen wird, leuchtet die LED blau.

Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
Um die Gefahr von Feuer, elektrischem Kurzschluss oder Beschädigung des Produktes zu vermeiden befol-
gen Sie bitte folgende Hinweise:
1. Setzen Sie das Produkt keinem Regen oder Feuchtigkeit aus. Stellen Sie keine mit Wasser gefüllten
Gefäße auf das Gerät.

2. Installieren Sie das Gerät nicht in ein Bücherregal, Einbauschrank oder in ähnlichem engem Raum.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät gut belüftet ist.
3. Um einem elektrischen Kurzschluss oder Brand in Folge von einer Überhitzung vorzubeugen, sollten
Sie das Gerät nicht bedecken oder Gegenstände auf das Gerät stellen.
4. Positionieren Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen, wie Heizungen, Öfen, etc.
5. Nicht in der Nähe von oenem Feuer oder Kerzen benutzen.
6. Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem trockenen Tuch.
7. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker während einem Gewitter oder wenn das Gerät für längere Zeit nicht
benutzt wird.
8. Schützen Sie das Netzkabel vor Gewalteinwirkung wie Quetschen oder Stößen.
9. Benutzen Sie nur das mitgelieferte Zubehör.
10. Im Servicefall wenden Sie sich bitte nur an qualifiziertes Servicepersonal.
Fehlerbehebung
Der BTR Evolution 5.1 kann nicht eingeschaltet werden
∙ Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie nur das mitgelieferte Netzteil zur Spannungsversorgung des BTR
verwenden.
∙ Kontrollieren Sie, ob Sie den Multifunktionsschalter min. drei Sekunden lang gedrückt halten
Der BTR Evolution 5.1 kann nicht mit einem anderen Gerät verbunden werden
∙ Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Bluetooth®-Gerät während des Kopplungs-Modus nicht weiter als 1 m
entfernt ist.
∙ Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei dem zu verbindenden Gerät Bluetooth®aktiviert ist und im Such-/Kopplungs-
Modus ist.
∙ Überprüfen Sie, ob Sie den richtigen Bluetooth®-Modus (RX/TX) gewählt haben.
Der BTR Evolution 5.1 ist mit einem Gerät verbunden, aber es ist nicht möglich, Musik abzuspielen
∙ Vergewissern Sie sich, dass beide Gerate gekoppelt sind.
∙ Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Reichweite maximal 10 m beträgt. Wenn sich Wände oder Gegenstände
zwischen den Geräten befinden, verringert sich die Reichweite.
∙ Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Lautstärkeregelung des Abspielgerätes zwischen 50 und 100 % eingestellt
ist.

Altgeräterückgabemöglichkeit
Getrennte Erfassung von Altgeräten:
Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte, die zu Abfall geworden sind, werden als Altgeräte bezeichnet. Besitzer von
Altgeräten müssen diese einer vom unsortierten Siedlungsabfall getrennten Erfassung zuführen. Altgeräte
gehören nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern in spezielle Sammel- und Rückgabesysteme.
Batterien und Akkus sowie Lampen: Besitzer von Altgeräten müssen Altbatterien und Altakkumulatoren, die
nicht vom Altgerät umschlossen sind, vor der Abgabe an einer Erfassungsstelle vom Altgerät zu trennen.
Dies gilt auch für Lampen, die zerstörungsfrei aus dem Altgerät entnommen werden können. Wenn die Alt-
geräte einer Vorbereitung zur Wiederverwendung unter Beteiligung eines öentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgungs-
trägers zugeführt werden sollen, müssen Batterien und Akkus sowie Lampen nicht entnommen werden.
Möglichkeiten der Rückgabe von Altgeräten: Besitzer von Altgeräten aus privaten Haushalten können diese
bei den Sammelstellen der öentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgungsträger oder bei den von Herstellern oder
Vertreibern eingerichteten Rücknahmestellen unentgeltlich abgeben. Rücknahmepflichtig sind Geschäfte mit
einer Verkaufsfläche von mindestens 400 m² für Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte sowie diejenigen Lebensmit-
telgeschäftemit einer Gesamtverkaufsfläche von mindestens 800 m², die mehrmals pro Jahr oder dauerhaft
Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte anbieten und auf dem Markt bereitstellen.
Dies gilt auch bei Online- oder Katalog-Vertrieb, wenn die Lager- und Versandflächen für Elektro- und
Elektronikgeräte mindestens 400 m² betragen oder die gesamten Lager- und Versandflächen mindestens
800 m² betragen.
Vertreiber haben die Rücknahme grundsätzlich durch geeignete Rückgabemöglichkeiten in zumutbarer
Entfernung zum jeweiligen Endnutzer zu gewährleisten. Die Möglichkeit der unentgeltlichen Rückgabe eines
Altgerätes besteht bei rücknahmepflichtigen Vertreibern unter anderem dann, wenn ein neues gleichartiges
Gerät, das im Wesentlichen die gleichen Funktionen erfüllt, an einen Endnutzer abgegeben wird. Wenn ein
neues Gerät an einen privaten Haushalt ausgeliefert wird, kann das gleichartige Altgerät auch dort zur unent-
geltlichen Abholung übergeben werden. Dies gilt bei Online- oder Katalog-Vertrieb für Geräte der Kategorien
1, 2 oder 4 gemäß § 2 Abs. 1 ElektroG, nämlich „Wärme-überträger“, „Bildschirmgeräte“ oder „Großgeräte“
(letztere mit mindestens einer äußeren Abmessung über 50 cm).
Zu einer entsprechenden Rückgabe-Absicht werden Endnutzer beim Abschluss eines Kaufvertrages
befragt. Außerdem besteht die Möglichkeit der unentgeltlichen Rückgabe bei Sammelstellen der Vertreiber
unabhängig vom Kauf eines neuen Gerätes für Kleingeräte, die in keiner äußeren Abmessung größer als 25
Zentimeter sind, und zwar beschränkt auf drei Altgeräte pro Geräteart.
Datenschutz-Hinweis: Altgeräte enthalten häufig sensible personenbezogene Daten. Dies gilt insbesondere
für Geräte der Informations- und Telekommunikationstechnik wie Computer
und Smartphones. Bitte beachten Sie in Ihrem eigenen Interesse, dass für die Löschung der Daten auf den
zu entsorgenden Altgeräten jeder Endnutzer selbst verantwortlich ist.
Bedeutung des Symbols „durchgestrichene Mülltonne“: Das auf Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten regelmäßig
abgebildete Symbol einer durchgestrichenen Mülltonne weist darauf hin, dass das jeweilige Gerät am Ende
seiner Lebensdauer getrennt vom unsortierten Siedlungsabfall zu erfassen ist.

to ensure unrestricted and fault-free operation of the device.
The Oehlbach®BTR Evolution 5.1 is a Bluetooth®5.1 2in1 adapter.
In TX mode, audio signals can be accepted via the RCA interface and sent wirelessly from the BTR Evolution
5.1 to other Bluetooth®-enabled devices. In RX mode, you can easily send music or audio content from your
smartphone, tablet or computer wirelessly to the BTR Evolution 5.1 and output analogue via the RCA or
SPDIF interface.
Both are done in CD quality thanks to aptX™ HD support. Thanks to the low latency feature, the BTR
Evolution 5.1 achieves an extremely low latency of less than 40 ms and transmits the sound without any
noticeable delay.

Operation
BTR Evolution 5.1 in RX mode
In RX (receiver) mode, the BTR Evolution 5.1 can be used as a Bluetooth®receiver. Here, the BTR Evolution
5.1 can be used to send an audio signal from a Bluetooth®-enabled device (here as an example, a smart-
phone) to a non-Bluetooth®-enabled device (here as an example, a radio).
1. Plug the required connectors of your radio into the correct socket (SPDIF/RCA Output) and set the
switch to the correct position (RX).
2. Switch on the unit by pressing the multifunction switch for three seconds. The blue LED flashes three
times if no unit is stored. Press the multifunction switch twice so that the BTR enters pairing mode.
3. Switch on Bluetooth®on your smartphone and confirm the pairing with the BTR.
4. Now you can listen to the music from your smartphone on your radio.
Dual-in operation
This allows you to connect a second device (here as an example, a second smartphone).
1. Press the multifunction switch twice to put the BTR into pairing mode again. In some cases, the first
connected device will be disconnected.
2. Switch on Bluetooth®on your second smartphone and confirm the pairing.
3. In some cases, you may now need to reconnect the first device.
4. You can now play music from both devices.
BTR Evolution 5.1 in TX mode
In TX (transmitter) mode, the BTR Evolution 5.1 can be used as a Bluetooth®transmitter. In this mode, the
BTR Evolution 5.1 can be used to send an audio signal from a non-Bluetooth®enabled device (in this examp-
le, a TV) to a Bluetooth®enabled receiving device (in this example, wireless headphones).
1. Plug the required connectors of your TV set into the correct socket (SPDIF/RCA Input) and set the BTR
to transmit mode (TX).
2. Switch on the unit by pressing the multifunction switch for three seconds. The blue LED flashes three
times if no device is stored. Press the multi-function switch twice to put the BTR into pairing mode.
3. Switch on your Bluetooth®-enabled headphones and also put them into pairing mode. Establish the
Bluetooth®connection between your headphones and the BTR.
4. Now you can hear the sound from your TV on your Bluetooth®-enabled headphones.
Dual-link mode
This allows you to connect a second device (here as an example, a second pair of Bluetooth®-enabled
headphones).
1. Press the power button twice to put the BTR into pairing mode. In some cases, the first connected
headphone will be disconnected.
2. Switch on your Bluetooth®enabled headphones and put them into pairing mode. Establish the
Bluetooth®connection between your headphones and the BTR.
3. In some cases, you may need to pair the first headphone again.
4. Now you can hear the sound from both headphones.

Troubleshooting
The BTR Evolution 5.1 cannot be switched on.
∙ Please make sure that you only use the supplied power supply unit to power the BTR.
∙ Check that you keep the multifunction switch pressed for at least three seconds.
The BTR Evolution 5.1 cannot be connected to another device.
∙ Make sure that the Bluetooth®device is not more than 1 m away during pairing mode.
∙ Make sure the device you want to connect has Bluetooth®enabled and is in search/pairing mode.
∙ Check that you have selected the correct Bluetooth®mode (RX/TX).
The BTR Evolution 5.1 is connected to a device, but it is not possible to play music.
∙ Make sure that both devices are paired.
∙ Please note that the maximum range is 10 metres. If there are walls or objects between the units, the
range will be reduced.
∙ Make sure the volume control of the player is set between 50 and 100%.

WEEE return option
Separate collection of waste equipment:
Electrical and electronic equipment that has become waste is referred to as WEEE. Owners of WEEE must
dispose of it separately from unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances do not belong in household waste,
but in special collection and return systems.
Batteries and accumulators as well as lamps: Owners of old appliances must separate old batteries and
accumulators that are not enclosed in the old appliance from the old appliance before handing them in at a
collection point. This also applies to lamps that can be removed from the WEEE without destroying it. If the
WEEE is to be prepared for reuse with the participation of a public waste management authority, batteries
