The 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER is a device designed to control eff ect machines with DMX signal (on/
off ). / El 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER es un controlador DMX para máquinas de efectos especiales (on/
off ).

1. Place the 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER on a fl at, stable surface. Connect the power supply cable
(not included) using the POWER IN connector (1).
2. Make sure that the safety key (4) is in OFF position.
3. Connect the DMX machines which you want to control to the DMX output connector (3). You
can use either of the 3-pin or 5-pin DMX out connectors according to your needs.
4. Turn On now the 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER device (4).
5. Assign the OPERATING DMX channels according to the machines you want to control using
the buttons “UP” and “DOWN”. Make sure that the channel selected is free and that there is no
repeated channel. A channel repeated might create confl ict and have a malfunction.
The 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER off ers 3 shooting modes for each operating channel: On/off switch
(switch), Push button (fl ash) and burner (burnt).
SWITCH MODE It works as a switch, that is, On/Off position. It is ideal for long-lasting eff ects (lights,
blowers, etc...) which require to be activated for some more than just a few seconds.
1. To activate the switch mode, press the mode button (8) until the display shows “S”(just before
the number of DMX channel).
2. Press the Activation button SWITCH / FLASH” (6) to activate the machine connected to that
channel. The Activation Led indicator (7) will light on.
3. To turn off the switch, press again the Activation button SWITCH / FLASH” (6)
FLASH MODE (FLASH) It works as a pusher. It is ideal for short duration eff ects as for instance CO2
Jets..
1. To activate the Flash mode, press the mode button (8) until the display shows “F”(just before
the number of DMX channel).
2. Press and keep pressing the Activation button SWITCH / FLASH” (6) to activate the machine
connected to that channel. The machine will remain activated as long as you keep pushing the
button. And the Activation Led indicator (7) will light on also while pressing. Once you stop
pressing the button the machine on that channel will turn off .
BURNT MODE. In this mode, the device only allows to activate 1 single time the machine/s
connected to that channel. Furthermore, the display shows you which are the channels which have
been already fi red. (Burnt). This becomes very useful when fi ring confetti machines.
1. To activate the Burnt mode, press the mode button (8) until the display shows “b” (just before
the number of DMX channel).
2. Press the Activation button SWITCH / FLASH” (6) to activate the machine connected to that
channel. The Activation Led indicator (7) will light on. The machine will remain activated as long
as you keep pushing the button, and the Activation Led indicator (7) will light on. The diff erence
is that in this BURNT mode, after the 1st activation the 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER will block

that channel and will indicate that it has already been activated/fi red with a blink on the led
indicator (7).
SECURITY CHANNEL
Some eff ect machines are equipped with a safety channel protecting against accidental activations.
Thus, in the same way, the 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER device is equipped with an unlocker fuction for
the safety channel (9) so that to be able to operate with these machines.
1. Assign the channel you want to use as the safety channel by using the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons
on the safety channel (9). Make sure that the selected channel matches the safety channel of
the FX machines and the channel selected is free.
2. Some machines require a dimerization of the safety channel to be unlocked. Select the value of
dimerization (%) requested by the machines to control by using the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons
of the Dimmer on safety channel.
3. To send the Unlock signal to the machine, press the On/Off switch of the Safety Channel (10)
to unlock it. The Led indicator of unlock safety channel (12) will remain lit while the 8 CHANNEL
DMX PUSHER is sending the unlock signal.
4. Press the On/Off switch of the Safety Channel (10) again to lock the machines.
5. If you prefer to unlock the safety channel only at specifi c times, you then better use the Flash
button (11) to unlock the Safety Channel, which will only unlock the channel while pressing and
holding the button.
1. Coloque el 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER en una superfi cie llana y estable. Conecte la alimentación de corriente
mediante el conector powercon de entrada (1).
2. Asegúrese de que la llave de seguridad (4) está en posición OFF.
3. Conecte el/los dispositivo/s DMX la toma de salida de DMX (3). Para su comodidad dispone de una toma DMX
de 3 pin y otra de 5 pin.
4. Encienda el dispositivo 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER (4).
5. Asigne los canales operativos según las máquinas que quiera controlar mediante los botones “up” y “down”
de cada canal operativo. Asegúrese de que no aparezca ningún canal repetido. Un canal repetido podría
crear confl icto y tener un mal funcionamiento.
El 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER ofrece tres modos de disparo en cada canal operativo: Interruptor (switch), Pulsador
(fl ash) y quemador (burnt).
MODO INTERRUPTOR (SWITCH). Hace la función de interruptor. Es ideal para efectos de larga duración (luces,
turbinas, etc…)
1. Para activar el modo interruptor pulse el botón de modo (8) hasta que en la pantalla aparezca “S” antes del
número de canal DMX.
2. Pulse el botón de accionamiento “SWITCH / FLASH” (6) para activar la máquina en ese canal. El led indicador
de accionamiento quedará encendido.
3. Para apagar el interruptor vuelva a pulsar el botón de accionamiento SWITCH / FLASH” (6)
MODO PULSADOR (FLASH). Hace la función de pulsador. Es perfecto para efectos con duraciones cortas como
los CO2 jet.
1. Para activar el modo pulsador pulse el botón de modo (8) hasta que en la pantalla aparezca “F” antes del
número de canal DMX.
2. Pulse el botón de accionamiento “SWITCH / FLASH” (6) para activar la máquina en ese canal. La máquina
permanecerá encendida mientras se esté pulsando el botón de accionamiento. En el momento en que deje
de pulsar el botón de accionamiento la máquina se apagará. El led indicador de accionamiento permanecerá
encendido mientras esté pulsando el botón de accionamiento.
MODO QUEMADOR (BURNT). Permite un solo accionamiento de cada canal indicando, además, todos los que ya
han sido disparados. Es muy útil para máquinas de confeti.
1. Para activar el modo quemador pulse el botón de modo (8) hasta que en la pantalla aparezca “b” antes del
número de canal DMX.
2. Pulse el botón de accionamiento “SWITCH / FLASH” (6) para activar la máquina en ese canal. La máquina
permanecerá encendida mientras se esté pulsando el botón de accionamiento. En el momento en que deje

de pulsar el botón de accionamiento la máquina se apagará. El led indicador de accionamiento
permanecerá encendido mientras esté pulsando el botón de accionamiento. Después de la
primera activación el 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER bloqueará el canal e indicará que ya ha sido
disparado con una intermitencia del led indicador de accionamiento (7).
CANAL DE SEGURIDAD
Algunas máquinas de efectos disponen de un canal de seguridad que las protegen contra
activaciones accidentales. El 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER dispone de un desbloqueador de canal de
seguridad (9) para poder operar estas máquinas.
1. Asigne el canal que quiere utilizar como canal de seguridad mediante los botones “UP” y “DOWN”
del canal de seguridad (9). Asegúrese de que el canal seleccionado coincida con el canal de
seguridad de las máquinas y que ese canal no esté ocupado por ningún otro dispositivo.
2. Algunas máquinas necesitan una dimerización del canal de seguridad para desbloquearse.
Seleccione el valor de dimerización (%) que necesitan sus máquinas mediante los botones “up”
y “down” del DIMMER del canal de seguridad.
3. Para enviar la señal de desbloqueo hacia las máquinas pulse el interruptor de desbloqueo del
canal de seguridad (10). El led indicador de desbloqueo (12) permanecerá encendido mientras
el 8 CHANNEL DMX PUSHER esté mandando la señal de desbloqueo.
4. Pulse de nuevo el interruptor de desbloqueo del canal de seguridad (10) para bloquear de
nuevo las máquinas.
5. Si prefi ere desbloquear el canal de seguridad sólo en momentos concretos dispone del
pulsador de desbloqueo (11) que sólo hará su función mientras se mantenga pulsado.
