USER MANUAL
IMPORTANT
Please read this user manual carefully before using
the purifier and save this manual for future
reference.
Danger
- DO NOT let water or any other liquid or flammable
detergents enter the appliance to avoid electric
shock and/or a fire hazard.
- DO NOT clean the purifier with water or any other
liquid or a (flammable) detergent to avoid electric
shock and/or a fire hazard.
Warning
- Check if the voltage indicated on the bottom of the
appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage
before you connect the appliance.
- If the main cord is damaged, you must have it
replaced by manufacturer, a service center or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not use the purifier if the plug, the main cord or
the appliance itself is damaged.
- This purifier is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision

or instruction concerning use of the purifier by a
person responsible for their safety.
- Do not block the air inlet and outlet, e.g. by placing
items on the air outlet or in front of the air inlet.
Caution
- Do not use the purifier near gas outlets, heating
devices or fireplaces.
- Leave at least 8 inches of free space behind and on
both sides of the purifier and leave at 12 inches of
free space above the purifier.
- Avoid dropping or hitting the purifier (the air inlet and
outlet in particular) with hard objects.
- Always lift or move the purifier by the handgrip at the
back of the purifier.
- Always unplug the purifier after use and before you
clean it.
- To prevent interference, place the purifier at least 7
feet away from electrical appliances that use
airborne radio waves such as TVs, radios and
radio-controlled clocks.
- When the air purifier is not in use for a long time,
bacteria may grow on the filters. Check the filters
after a long period of disuse. If the filters are very
dirty, replace them (see chapter ’Filter replacement’).
- The purifier is only intended for household use under
normal operating conditions.
- Do not use the purifier in wet surroundings or in
surroundings with high ambient temperatures, such

as the bathroom, toilet or kitchen.
- The purifier does not remove carbon monoxide (CO)
or radon (Rn). It cannot be used as a safety device in
case of accidents with combustion processes and
hazardous chemicals.
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The OION Technologies LB-999 air purifier utilizes
multiple purification technologies to bring cleaner air to
you and your loved ones. For best results, place the air
purifier in a room where you spend most of your time.
Double purification stages
The LB-999 air purifier has unique double purification
stages that ensures the best air quality:
- Stage 1：The antibacterial pre-filter and the true
HEPA filter, filters out ultrafine particles larger than
20 nanometers, including bacteria and some viruses.
According to publications of the World Health
Organization, the avian and human influenza viruses
and the Legionella bacterium are larger than 20
nanometers.
- Stage 2：UV light technology works with the TiO2
filter to enhance the elimination of airborne germs.
Titanium Dioxide is activated by the UV light to
decompose remaining toxic or harmful gas.
