ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS.
The packaging includes the following items inside:
- Complete FLAT2 lock set
- Complete set of standard handles. (1,8) check the position of the handle when removing
from the packaging. If it is not the correct position, remove the INNER screw and turn the
handle to match the direction of the door.
- Emergency lock (4)
- Screws and squares 70 mm (max. 58 mm door thickness)
- Universal recessed template.
- 4 AA Alkaline Batteries
- Emergency key
- Magnet key to remove the front protection cover (6)
- 2 Cylindrical spacers M5x36
- Square or spindle protection pin (3)
Check the contents of the box and contact your dealer if you do not have all the items
described.

Installation and assembly
The installation of the FLAT2 lock set is very simple, just follow the steps
below.
LATCH INSTALATION

1. Place the batteries (2 fig.1) in the lock, to carry out this operation, remove the screws
from the interior panel (1) of the lock and install the 4 x 1.5VAA inside. Close the battery
holder cover (6) again.
2. Insert the square (3) or spindle into the outer face (2) and install the pin.
3. Install the M5x36 spacers (supplied in the extra bag), on the screws on the outer front
(2).
4. Insert the cables (5) through the hole in the Door, from the inside to the outside. Connect
the cables (5) with the cables from the outer front (2) cables (4), and house the cable
assembly inside the Door.
5. Approach the two fronts to the Door and match the spindle (3) with the interior latch or
latch.
6. Finally, install the two M5 screws (7) to fix both front

MORTISE INSTALATION

1. Place the batteries (2 fig.1) in the lock, to carry out this operation, remove the screws
from the interior panel (1) of the lock and install the 4 x 1.5VAA inside. Close the battery
holder cover (6) again.
2. Insert the square (3) or spindle into the outer face (2) and install the pin.
3. Install the M5x36 spacers (supplied in the extra bag), on the screws on the outer front
(2).
4. Insert the cables (5) through the hole in the Door, from the inside to the outside. Connect
the cables (5) with the cables from the outer front (2) cables (4), and house the cable
assembly inside the Door.
5. Approach the two fronts to the Door and match the spindle (3) with the interior latch or
latch.
6. Finally, install the two M5 screws (7) to fix both front

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Once the 4/5 cables (fig. 2/3) have been connected, the lock will be ready for configuration
with a mobile.
Your lock is prepared to be installed on right / left direction doors. To change the turn of the
lock, you just have to loosen the screws inside the handles and turn the handle in the
desired direction.
Your electronic lock has an emergency lock (3) inside the exterior front, to access it, if
necessary, you will have to use the magnet to remove the cover (4) from the exterior front.
In the same location, you can also access a type C connector (2), to introduce voltage (6V),
in case the batteries are depleted.

CHANGE OF CHANGE OF HANDLE
To change the handle or turn the handle, just follow these simple steps:
On the back of both fronts of the FLAT2 lock,
inside the handle, we find a M5x20mm screw
with a phillips head, with the help of a
screwdriver, we will remove it.
Once we remove the screw, we remove the handle
and turn it or place the new handle.
We replace and tighten the M5x20 screw

RECOMMENDATIONS IN THE CHOICE OF THE LATCH
The handle of your choice must meet the minimum requirements for proper installation. We
will explain below.
The recommended latch must maintain
established minimum measures, A, B, C, according
to the annex.
A - distance between centers of fixing holes will
be 38mm
B - The square housing will be 8x8
(SPINDLE)

C - The minimum diameter of the holes
will be 6.5mm
Note.- to install the FLAT2 model lock on this type of latch, with measures of at least
6.5mm, the customer will have to request 2 auxiliary spacers from their distributor or
authorized seller (Code of auxiliary cylindrical spacers parts 2 units x 971096)

RECOMMENDATIONS
Below, we list a series of recommendations that must be taken into account before,
during and at the end of the installation:
- Check each and every one of the components of the box, make sure that all the
material is there.
- Before installing, check that the door is completely clean, dry and free of sawdust
and other types of particles that prevent the protection rubbers from adhering well
and fixing the mechanics to the interior.
- At the end, check the handles.
- Make sure that the batteries are correctly connected as indicated inside the battery
holder.
- Check that the door opens and closes correctly, that there are no significant gaps
between the latch and the frame strike.
