GET STARTED –QUICK GUIDE
Advanced OneRemote circuitry has been added to this tuner, OneRemote CableRadio1, enabling it
to be part of a remotely controlled Bang & Olufsen system. Complete control is obtained ONLY
with a Bang & Olufsen remote control terminal.
•CableRadio1 is a beocompatible tuner
•CableRadio1 may be controlled by any Bang & Olufsen system remote from 1988 and on.
CableRadio1 may be connected
to any Bang & Olufsen system
and controlled by Bang & Olufsen
remotes. Even a standalone TV.
When switching on the
CableRadio1 with a B&O remote
the Bang & Olufsen system is
switched on too and the input
with the CableRadio1
automatically selected.
CableRadio1 is connected to the
system input that is selected by
pressing AMEM or ATAPE
on the Bang & Olufsen remote.
If the Bang & Olufsen system has no AMEM or ATAPE operated input available, the CableRadio1
can be connected to a different input socket and reprogramming of the CableRadio1 is required
accordingly. See the chapter about Options.
When power is first applied CableRadio1 will automatically start searching for channels. This
search can take up to 15 minutes depending on the Cable net.
The Cable Company may deliver the Cable-Radio-Channels via the Radio output of the wall socket.
But the TV output is often used instead. There are no rules for this.
When the search is ended, select and program the 10 most important channels as Presets.

PRESETS - FAVORITE CHANNELS
Press eto switch between the full channel list and the list with the 10 FAV channels.
To add or overwrite a Favorite channel:
1. Find the program in the full channel list.
2. Press efollowed by the preset number 0.. 9within 3 seconds.
The 10 preset favorite channels are selectable by pressing single digits on a Bang & Olufsen
remote. UseDFto select in the FAV list.
SELECTING RADIO CHANNELS
Switch on the CableRadio1 tuner with the Bang & Olufsen remote by pressing the key selected to
handle the tuner on the Bang & Olufsen system.
Channels can be selected in two ways:
1. FROM THE FAVORITE LIST
Use eto select the favorite list.
Select a favorite by pressing a digit 0–9.
2. FROM THE FULL LIST
Use eto select the full list.
Select a channal directly by pressing the channel number
i.e. press 055 +OOto select program 55.

MAIN MENU
mgives access to the main menu. The menu consists of a single line, in the button of the
display. When chosen, different receiver options are available.
Adjustment in this menu is required only under installation.
Pressing mrepeatedly gives access to adjust:
•Auto Standby.
This should be set to off.
•Factory reset.
Starts a factory reset of the receiver, clearings channels etc.
It does not reset the OneRemote controller settings.
•Channel search.
A channel search can be initiated, auto or manually.
OPTIONS
The OneRemote CableRadio1 option programming is only required during the initial installation
and it is carried out with a Bang & Olufsen remote.
Options are used to activate or de-activate various special functions. Thus, it might be necessary to
add several options, in which case they are added one by one.
An option programming MUST be initiated by pressing Lwithin the FIRST 8 seconds, after
12V power has been applied to CableRadio1. Hereafter 8 Seconds are available to enter each
following key, so there is no rush.
At any time, simply enter the 5 keys of the Option starting with L, and the option will
immediately be active.

OLDER BANG & OLUFSEN REMOTES
The CableRadio1 tuner may be controlled by all Bang & Olufsen system remotes.
Through the years Bang & Olufsen has marketed various models, where keys have been added or
removed. Some keys have just changed names.
As an example the Pkey is used instead of the Okey.
If the remote does NOT have a Okey or a small joystick, control the CableRadio1 tuner in
accordance with the tables below.
