Preface
Please read the user manual carefully before use.
• This manual contains operation, assembly methods, and simple fault solutions.
• This manual applies to our model FELIXe.
• This manual contains wheelchair maintenance and self checking methods. Please keep it for
future reference.
• Please provide this manual for reference when other people are going to use this wheelchair.
• The annotations and illustrations in this manual might be slightly different with the real parts due
to quality improvement or changing design.
• Contact with your dealer if there is any ambiguity.
• Improper use of any vehicle may lead to injury. Unsafe driving could harm yourselves and others.
• The electric wheelchair is intended to comfortably transport persons with walking difficulties or no
walking abilities.
• This electric wheelchair is designed to transport 1 person only.

Product Performance
This series of electric wheelchairs are powered by battery, driven by motor. Users control direction and adjust
speed by joystick controller. It is suitable for application of low speed, good road condition and small slope.
Main Structure
This series of electric wheelchairs are mainly composed of two parts:
1) Frame Part: frame, wheel, footrest, armrest, backrest etc.
2) Electrical Part: controller, motor, battery.
Application
This power wheelchair is for disabled and elderly people (less than 120kg) using as a mobility aid and is
suitable for short-mid distance use. Not for use on roads as a motor vehicle.

2. Safety Instructions
2.1 Driving Notice
• Please keep your hands on the armrest to control the wheelchair.
• Please practice in parks or other safe open places until you can use the wheelchair skillfully.
• Please strictly follow pedestrian traffic rules.
• Please drive on the sidewalk and the zebra crossing. Do not drive on vehicle lane.
• Avoid sharp turns.
• Please maintain proper pneumatic tire pressure.
Avoid Driving in These Conditions
• Bad weather, such as rainy day, heavy fog, strong wind, snow, etc.
• If wheelchair gets wet, wipe with a towel immediately.
• Bad surface condition, such as muddy, trail, sand road, gravel, etc.
• Crowed areas.
• Hazardous areas such as steep hills, bodies of water, etc.
• Stop at any railroad crossing to confirm it is safe and that the tires will not gete stuck.
• The power wheelchair is only for personal use, do not carry other people or heavy objects.
Precautions for Slopes
• Do not drive on slopes steeper than 9 degrees.
• Do not stop on slopes.
• Reduce speed when going down a slope.
• Do not drive across a slope.
• Do not try to drive up or down stairs.

Do not set the wheelchair to manual mode on a slope.
In the case of an emergency, please immediately ask a passerby for help. Set the wheelchair to manual mode,
then push wheelchair to safety.
Precautions for the Caregivers
• Caregivers should confirm that the users’ feet are on the footrests, in the proper position and
ensure clothes do not attach to the wheels.
• Caregivers should push the wheelchair on steep or long slopes.
2.2 Other Notice
Repair
If repair is necessary, please contact your dealer. Do not modify the wheelchair by yourself. Unauthorized
modication may lead to further damage or injury.
Protect the Environment
In order to protect the environment, do not casually discard the battery. Please contact your local dealer for
disposal and replacement of a new battery.
Storage
Do not store the wheelchair in a damp location. If the wheelchair gets wet, wipe dry immediately.
Do not add uneven weight to the wheelchair that would cause imbalance.
Do not use another vehicle to pull or push the wheelchair.
If the wheelchair makes an abnormal sound, contact service immediately.

Electromagnetic Interference
Keep the wheelchair away from strong magnetic elds and large inductive electrical equipment, such as
radio stations, TV stations, or cell phone towers. Stay as far as away from those sources as possible to avoid
electromagnetic interference.

3. Adjusting the Wheelchair

Step1:Flip lock latch upward as shown in Picture 1.

Armrest Usage
Step1:Flip the knob switch down.

Adjusting the Joystick
Slide the tube attached to the controller into the tube attached below armrest. Adjust the controller to the
perfect position by screwing the nut counterclockwise (picture 3). tighten the nut when the adjusted.

Switching Manual and Electric Mode
When changing from manual to electric mode, please conrm both side clutches are inside the
grooves. If either side clutch is misplaced, it may cause the wheelchair to roll over.
Manual mode :
Stop the wheelchair and turn o the power. Turn both side clutch levers untl they point to point to the
yellow label. (Picture 4-1)
Electric mode :
Turn both side clutch levers untl they point to the green label. (Picture 4-2)
Do not put wheelchair into manual mode while driving on a slope.

4. Battery and Charger
4.1 Battery
The wheelchair batteries come pre-installed. You do not need to remove the batteries to fold the
wheelchair.
4.2 Charger Requirements
Do not use the wheelchair while the charger is plugged in and charging the batteries.
Charger Technical Data
Input voltage: AC220V ±10% Output voltage: 24V/DC Output current: 3A
4.3 Charger Usage
To charge the battery, plug the charger into a power supply and the battery box. Follow the instructions
below to complete charging process:
Step 1: Make sure the charger groove is not blocked.
Step 2: Make sure the electric wheelchair is powered o.
Step 3: Unplug the leads that connect the battery box and controller.
Step 4: Connect the charger’s output plug to the battery box’s power plug.
Step 5: Connect the charger’s main plug to a power supply. The power indicator will turn red indicating it is
charging. Charging takes 8 to 10 hours. Do not charge more than 24 hours.
Step 6: To maximize battery life, charge the battery at least once per month if the wheelchair is not being
used.
Do not stop charging until the process is nished. Using a battery that is not fully charged will
shorten the battery life.
When the battery is fully charged, the power indicator will turn to green. Do not stop charging
before fully charged.
Once charging is complete, unplug the charger from the power supply. Do not charge more than
24 hours.

Users should follow the following rules to avoid charging dangers:
Environment should be well ventilated when charging. Do not charge the wheelchair in direct
sunlight or excess humidity.
Charging should be done in an environment with a temperature ranging from 10°C to 50°C. If it is
done in a temperature outside of this range, the battery is likely to become damaged.
It’s normal for the fan making a sound during charging.
Prevent liquid from going into the charger during charging and do not place charger on the
ammable items.
4.4 The Usage and Maintenance of Battery
Replacing the battery incorrectly may cause explosion. Only the same or recommended type of battery is
suitable for replacement. Please make sure the battery poles are correct. To keep battery power full, charge
frequently. It’s better to fully charge the battery twice per month even if the wheelchair is not being used.
Keep open ames away from battery and charger while charging. Flames may cause battery re
or explosion.
Charging creates hydrogen. Do not smoke while charging.
Do not unplug the power supply when the socket or your hands are wet. It may cause electric
shock.
To avoid injury, do not use or sit on the electric wheelchair whle charging.

5. System Diagnostics
When the indicator LED lights are blinking, it means there is a problem with the wheelchair. This problem
can be diagnosed by the LED and audible beep pattern.
Description of LED light
All LED lights are unlit with no
sound

Two short beeps with ve indicator
lights blinking twice
Four short beeps with ve indicator

Meaning
The power is o, wheelchair in standby or
sleep mode.
Poor battery connection.
Fuse is tripping or burned out.
The power is turned on, self diagnosis passes,
and the electric wheelchair can work well.
The battery power is extremely inadequate.
The left side motor is malfunctioning.
The right side motor is malfunctioning.
Controller is in over-current protection status.
Joystick is malfunctioning.
Controller is malfunctioning.
Controller is malfunctioning.
Explanation & Solution
Try to turn on wheelchair. If no response,
check battery and fuse.
LED lights indicate amount of battery
power remaining.
Charge immediately or battery is
malfunctioning and not able to charge.
The left side motor has poor connection

6.1 Controller Panel

6.2 Controller Usage
Power Switch
Press this button to turn on the power. The battery power gauge lights will turn on
from left to right. Press again to turn o the power. All the LED lights will turn o.
In an emergency, you can directly turn o the power by pressing power button.
Sleep Mode
If the joystick has no operation for 20 minutes, the power will turn o automatically and the system will go
into the sleep mode. The system will be woken up from sleep mode by pressing the power button.
Speed Adjustment
According to user’s habits and the circumstances, the wheelchair driving speed is
adjustable.
Adjust speed by pressing the decrease button or increase button.
Speed is divided into ve gears - 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100% of the max speed.
Horn Button
Press the horn button and the horn will sound until you release the button.
Battery Power Gauge
After turning on the power, the battery power gauge will light up. The battery power
gauge also shows the remaining battery power.
As shown, the battery power is full.
When there is only the red or yellow LED light lit, the battery needs charging. For
driving long distances, the battery should be fully charged. If only the red LED light is
lit, the battery power is extremely low. Charge battery as soon as possible.
Using the Joystick
The wheelchair direction is controlled by the joystick. The degree of joystick movement also controls the
moving speed.
Please only turn the power on or o when the joystick is in the middle position. Otherwise, the
controller will return a wrong operation signal.
Releasing the joystick to the middle should make this stop. If the issue continues, the joystck ay be
malfunctioning. Do not use the joystick and contact your dealer for maintenance.

batteries, and regularly charging the batteries. For further maintenance, please contact your dealer. Our
suggestion is to check the wheelchair every six months, and annually do an overhaul.
7.1 Cleaning and Battery Maintenance
Cleaning the Wheelchair
Please clean the wheelchair regularly.
Clean the parts which are frequently touched by the user’s body (such as the cushion, armrests, joystick) by
a clean and damp cloth. Do not use organic solvents to clean.
Wheels
Check the tires’ air pressure and wear condition regularly. When the tire tread pattern depth reduces to
1mm, please replace with new tires.
Batteries
Make sure that the batteries are fully charged frequently. In order to prolong battery life, we strongly
recommend users do not charge until the batteries run out of power totally.
7.2 Wheelchair Malfunction and Checking
When malfunctions happen while the wheelchair is in use, please turn o the power before checking.
Check Steps:
Step 1: Check if the controller’s plug is loose.
Step 2: Check if the connection of controller’s plug and battery box is loose. Please reinsert the plug
connector. If the wheelchair is still not able to restore the power, or if you have any question about the
malfunction, please connect with your dealer.
The controller has a diagnosing system to monitor the controller and motor. Any malfunction of
these parts is indicated by the controller. For more details, please kindly refer to page 14.

Check the following parts monthly for wear or loosening:
1. Screws
2. Brakes
3. Clutch/adjusting lever for conversion between manual mode and electric mode
4. The front and rear wheels and their tread pattern depth
5. Connectors’ of controller and charger

8. Others
Condition for Transport and Storage
During transport and storage, the electric wheelchair should be kept in appropriate conditions.
• During transport, avoid moisture, sunlight and heat sources.
• To avoid damaging electric parts, avoid storing the wheelchair outdoors or in damp areas.
• Storage condition:
- Temperature -40°C~+55°C;
- Relative humidity ≤ 80%;
- Air Pressure 86kPa~106kPa.
9. Warranty
- 1 year warranty on the frame and parts (excluding batteries).
- 6 month warranty on batteries.
