General Safety Instructions
Read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it in a safe place for
future reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt
and carton.
• Charger: Use only the supplied charger to charge this Handsfree Kit
with Bluetooth Wireless Technology; using any other charger will be
hazardous.
• Battery: Do not attempt to force open the built-in battery since this could
damage the product.
• Protect from heat: Do not leave this Handsfree Kit exposed to strong
direct sunlight, which could warp the plastic housing.
• Sun visor: Frequent attaching and detaching of the clip that holds the kit
in place may leave a marking/indentation on a padded sun visor.
• Installation: Never place or store the Handsfree Kit above any area in the
car where a safety airbag is deployed, as it may cause serious injury if the
airbag deploys.
• Safe driving: While this product allows you the freedom to make phone
calls in your car, always ensure to operate the vehicle in a safe manner.
Do not become distracted by phone calls while driving, and always be
fully aware of all driving conditions. If a phone call is likely to distract your
attention, pull over in a safe and legal manner and location.
• Usage restriction: This product is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Children: Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with the
product.
• Storage: Be sure to store the Handsfree Kit in a dry place, free from
extreme temperatures, humidity and dust.

Getting Started
Introduction
This Handsfree Kit with Bluetooth®Wireless Technology gives you the
freedom to make phone calls in your car without using your hands.
The Handsfree Kit:
• Is compatible with most Bluetooth enabled mobile phones
• Can be paired with up to eight Bluetooth enabled devices
• Features Bluetooth technology for wireless communication
• Features HD-Voice and DSP technology for crystal-clear, pure sound
• Is easy to install, with the supplied visor clip, on the sun visor of your car.
• Is designed with your safety in mind. While it allows you the freedom
to make or answer important phone calls in your car, we strongly
recommend you keep your phone calls to a minimum and focus your
attention to driving and the traffic around you.
Charging
The Handsfree Kit contains a rechargeable lithium battery, which should be
fully charged before first use.
• Charging via computer: Insert the Mini USB connector of the USB cable
into the charging socket on the Handsfree Kit, and the USB connector
into the USB port on your computer.
• Charging in the car: Plug the USB connector into the supplied car
charger, then insert the charger into your car's DC connector (cigarette
lighter socket).
• The LED indicator will illuminate red and will remain on during charging. It
will turn off when the unit is fully charged; this will take approximately two
hours.
• The Handsfree Kit will need to be recharged when the LED indicator
starts flashing red once every three seconds. Continued use of the
product may reduce the battery lifespan and standby time, and eventually
the system will shut down when the battery has insufficient charge.
• We recommend charging the Handsfree Kit before the battery power is
completely drained to prolong the battery life.

LED Indicator Light
Mode LED Indication
Ready to be paired The red and blue LED flash alternately.
Paired The blue LED will blink twice every 5
seconds.
Standby (connected to a
Bluetooth enabled device)
The blue LED flashes once every 3 seconds.
Low voltage standby The red LED flashes once every 5 seconds.
Charging The red LED is constantly on.
Charging finished The blue LED is constantly on.

Installation
Step 1: Lightly push the supplied visor clip open and slide it from the top
down into the two grooves at the back of the Handsfree Kit until it
clicks into place.
Step 2: Clip the unit to your car's sun visor, making sure the mute button is
facing the driver.

Powering On/Off
Turning on: In OFF mode, press and hold the MFB for 1 second until
you hear a short beep. The product will then automatically
connect with the last mobile phone it connected with.
Turning off: In STANDBY mode (when the product is connected to a
mobile phone), press and hold the MFB for 5 seconds until
you hear a short beep. The product will then shut down.
NOTE: After being disconnected from a mobile phone, the product will shut
down automatically after 10 minutes.
Pairing and Connecting a Mobile Device
Prior to using the product for the first time, the Handsfree Kit must be paired
and connected manually with a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. To do so,
proceed as follows:
• In OFF mode, press and hold the MFB for 5-6 seconds until the blue and
red LED indicator flashes alternately. This indicates that the Handsfree Kit
is ready for pairing.
• With your mobile phone turned ON, activate the Bluetooth function and
search Bluetooth enabled devices (for more instructions, consult your
phone's user guide).
• When your phone has found the Handsfree Kit, it will stop searching.
Select "ABHK-014" on the phone's list of found devices.
• If a password is required, enter "0000" to confirm pairing.
• If pairing cannot be completed within ten minutes, the Handsfree Kit will
automatically power off. In that case, repeat the steps above to attempt
pairing again.
• After successful connection to the host (Handsfree Kit), you can now
answer or make phone calls, or play music, from your mobile device via
the Handsfree Kit.
• When using the Handsfree Kit, ensure the distance between the kit and
the phone is within 10 metres and there are no obstacles between the
two devices.
• If the Handsfree Kit had paired with your phone but disconnected, the kit
will connect the paired phone automatically next time you turn it on again
within operation range.

Making Phone Calls
To answer an incoming call Press the MFB once.
(If the Handsfree Kit is in OFF mode, it
will power on automatically, connect to
the paired device and answer the call.)
To end a call Press the MFB once.
To reject an incoming call Press and hold the MFB for one second.
To dial the last dialled number Press the MFB twice in quick
succession.
To adjust the volume While talking, press and hold the [ +] or
[ - ] buttons to increase or decrease the
volume.
Playing MP3 Music Files
When you are playing music from your mobile device, you can operate
playback controls via the Handsfree Kit.
In STANDBY mode:
• Press the MFB twice to start music play.
While music is playing:
• Press the MFB to pause playback.
• Press and hold the [ +] or [ - ] button to go to the next or previous music
track.
• Press the [ +] or [ - ] button to adjust the volume.

Important Note
While the Handsfree Kit complies with the Bluetooth version specified below,
compatibility of all functions on every Bluetooth enabled device cannot be
guaranteed. Please check your device's user manual for compatibility and
functionality.
