• Do not use the unit in places that are extremely hot, cold, dusty, or humid.
• Avoid the unit being dropped or shaken seriously, or the unit will be
damaged or unusual.
• Please select the appropriate volume.The volume should not be too loud
if you are using the earphones. If the sound distorts, please turn down the
volume or turn off the player.
• Please charge the unit when any of the following cases occur:
A.The battery indicator informs low battery.
B.The player turns off automatically, and turns off again after rebooting.
C.The buttons become inactive .
• The player uses 3.7V lithium battery, and can be charged repeatedly.
• There are two ways to charge the player:
A. By connecting with the PC via USB cable.The player is charged while
connected with PC via USB; no matter if the power is on or not. (It needs a
longer time to charge the battery to full by this method.)
B. By the charger that is enclosed. Connect the charger to the power
supply, and plug one end of the USB extending cable to the player, and
the other end of it to the charger, the player will charge. (It is suggested to
charge by this method as it takes a shorter time to charge.)
C. It is normal that the temperature of the charger and the player rises a
little while charging.
NOTE: The player can not be charged with the charger of any other models.
If you need the original charger, please contact the customer helpline.
• Do not disconnect the player while it is formatting or uploading/
downloading, as the procedures may lead to errors
• We do not take responsibility for user fault. Please operate strictly as per
the user guide.
• Do not disassemble. Do not wipe the surface of the player with alcohol,
thinners or benzene.

equipment, such as on planes.

Basic Operation
1. Power on/Power off
Power on: Press and hold the “ ”button for 3 seconds, the player displays
the start-up logo and enters the working mode.
Power off:
A. Under playback status: press the “ ”button momentarily to pause,
and then press and hold the“ ”button for 3 seconds to turn the player
off.
B. Under other modes: press and hold the“ ”button for 3 seconds to turn
the player off.
C. If there is no enough power, the player would power off automatically.
2. Reset
If the player freezes during operation, you may press the“reset” button to
restart the player.
3. Connect with PC and transfer data
Connect the player with the PC via the USB cable; you may transfer the date
between the two devices then.
4. A-B repeat Function
While playing music, click the “ ”icon to enter the A-B repeat mode, the
screen displays“A’ and set the start point of the repeat section. Click “ ”
icon again, the screen displays“A-B”and set the end point of the section. It
repeat the section again and again. Click “ ”icon the third time to cancel
A-B repeat.
5. Battery
The player uses built-in high capacity lithium battery.
The usage time of the battery depends on the volume, the format of playing
files and the operations on buttons.You may set the“Auto shut time”or
“Display setting”to save the battery.

Audio Playback
The player enters the main menu after the power is turned on.
Click " " to enter the media library.
Click“Current Play” to enter the music playback status. Click “ ”icon to
return to the previous menu.
Click“ ”icon again to exit the sub-menu and return to the main interface.
Select the corresponding menu, and double click to enter it. If there are
new-added music files in the player, please double click “MediaLib Update”.
1. Play/Stop
While playing music, click “ ”icon to pause. Click “ ”or“ ”to skip to the
previous or next file. Keep on clicking“ ”or “ ”icon to REW or FF.
2. Lyrics Display
While playing music files, if there is a lyric file which has the same name with
the music file, and is placed in the folder of the playing music file, the player
can display the lyrics. Please enter the display setting menu to turn on the
lyrics display function.

3. Music playback setting menu
Click“ ”icon to enter the submenu while playing music. Click to select the
submenu you want. Click “ ”icon to return to the previous menu.
Repeat Mode: Once, Repeat, All, All repeat, Intro.
Play Mode: In order, Shuffle
MSEQ (PlayFX): 3D, Bass, LEQ
EQ Selection: Normal, MSEQ, Rock, Pop, Classic, Bass, Jazz, User EQ
User EQ Setup:To set your favorite EQ in the menu.
Display: ID3, Lyrics, Frequency Chart, Closed
Video Playback
Click“ ”icon in the main interface to enter the video file list. Select the file
you want to play and double click to start playback.
Click“ ”icon to return to the file list while playing, and then double click
the corresponding file to playback.

Play/Pause
Under video playback status, press“ ”button or click“ ”icon to pause.
Press “ ”button or click“ ”icon again to play. Click“ ” or“ ”to skip to
the previous or next file. Keep on clicking“ ”or “ ” icon to REW or FF.
Adjust Volume
Click“ ”to increase the volume, click “ ”to decrease the volume.
Under video playback status, click “ ”icon to pop-up the sub menu. Click“
”or “ ” to select “Select Time Play”and“LCD Expand Full”.
1) Select Time Play
Click“ ”or“ ”icon to shift between minute and second; click “ ” or “ ”
icon to set the time.
2) LCD Expand Full
Click“ ”icon to shift between“LCD Expand Full”and “LCD Expand Normal”.
Click“ ”icon to return to the playback status.
Picture viewing
Click“ ”in the main interface to enter the file list. Double click the file
name to display it.
Click“ ”icon to pop-up the sub menu while browsing pictures. Click the
menu“Rotate Right”/”Rotate Left”/”Zoom in”/“Zoom out”/ “Browse”to
realize the corresponding settings.
Under“Browse”menu, you may set the interval time of browsing pictures as
2 seconds, 5 seconds, 8 seconds or OFF.
Click“ ”icon to return to the previous menu.
NOTE: the player does not support images above 10 million pixels.

E-book
1. Read E-books
Click“ ”in the main menu to enter the e-book file list. Double click the file
name to browse it. Click “ ” or“ ” icon to skip to the previous or next page.
Click“ ”or“ ” icon to skip to the previous or next line. Click “ ” icon to
return to the file list.
2. Page Jump
Click“Page Jump”in the submenu, it displays the corresponding interface.
Click“ ”or“ ” icon to shift between the numbers, and select the page you
want to read by clicking the “ ”or“ ” icon, and then click“OK” button to
confirm.
3. Save Mark
Click“Save Mark”in the submenu, and then click the corresponding place to
save the bookmark. Click“ ”icon to return to the previous menu.
4. Load Mark
Click“Load Mark”in the submenu, and then click the corresponding place to
load the bookmark. Click“ ”icon to return to the previous menu.
5. Delete Mark
Click“Del Mark”in the submenu, and then click the corresponding place to
delete the bookmark. Click “ ” icon to return to the previous menu.

6. Set Font
Select“Set Font”in the submenu, it displays the corresponding interface.
There are three options: Font Small, Font Mid and Font Big.
7. Set Colour
Select“Set Colour” in the submenu, it displays the corresponding interface.
There are three options:White, Green and Red.
8. Browser Mode
There are two options: Auto Mode and Manual Mode.
9. Flip Time
There are five options: 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 seconds.
The bookmarks are only available for the current file.While reading other
files, you may set the marks again.
NOTE: the play only support TXT files with “ANSI”coding.

Record
1. Start Recording
Click“ ”in the main interface to enter the pre-recording status. Click“
”icon to enter the submenu, you may set the recording quality, volume and
the desktop.
Click“ ”icon to start recording, click “ ”icon again to pause. Click “ ”
icon, the display prompts“Save record file?”Select“Yes”to save it, the player
prepares for the next recording. Click“ ” icon to exit the recording mode.
2. Play recorded file
Select“ ” in the main interface, and then select “Record”enter. Click the file
you want to start playback.
3. Setup of record
Click“ ”icon to enter the submenu of record under the pre-record mode.
There are three options: quality,Volume and Desktop.
•Quality:Lowrate,Highrate.Theformerhassmallfilesbutlowereffect,while
the latter has large files but good quality.
•Volume:1,2,3,4,5.Thelargerthenumberis,theloudertherecordedfiles
are.
•Desktop:Therearefouroptions.
NOTE: if the display prompts“Disc Full!”it means that there’s not enough
space to record new files. Please delete other files to release space.

Other Functions
1. Stopwatch
Click “ ” to enter the “other function” menu. Click “Stopwatch” and then click
“ ” icon to start time. Click “ ” icon again to pause. Click “ ” icon to reset. Click “
” icon to exit.
2. Calendar
In“Other Function”menu, click “Calendar” to enter.The calendar is only for
reference. If you want to reset it, please setup in the setting menu. Click “ ”
icon to exit.

Explorer
Explorer is for you to manage the files in the player more easily.
Delete Files
You may click the file name in the explorer to play it directly. If you want delete the
files, click the “ ” and then click “Delete File” to delete it.
Settings
Click “ ” in the main interface to enter the setting interface. Click the
corresponding setting item to enter it. Click “ ” icon to exit.
1. Display Setting
•Lighttime
In this menu there are 6 options to be selected: 5 seconds, 10 seconds,15
seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds, always on.
•Brightness
In this menu, there are five options:1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.The higher the level is ,
the darker the brightness will be.
•Lightmode
In this menu, there are two options: All Dark and Penumbra.
•Displaystatus
Inthismenu,therearetwooptions:HideandDisplay.Youcanchooseto
hide the battery and time display.

2. System setting
•Upgrade
In this menu pop up dialog box prompts you if you want to upgrade the
firmware. Details please refer to “VI. System Upgrade”
•Restorable
In this menu pop up dialog box prompts you if you want to restore to the
defaulted value.
•KeyLockTime
10 Seconds, 30 Seconds, 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes and No Locking. Press“ ”
button, the keypad is unlocked.
3. Desktop
•Thereare8selections.

Change the values by clicking “ ”or“ ” icon.

5. Language
6. System Information
Itdisplaysthemanufacture,Productname,MajorversionID,HardwareID,
total and used Memory size. Click “ ”icon to exit.
7. Auto Shut Time
There are six options: 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20
minutes and No automatic shut.
The player will not shut off automatically under the following status: playing
music/video/pictures, reading e-book, charging and using stopwatch.
DVB-T
Click “ ” in the main interface to enter the DVB-T.
1.Video Broadcast
Click“Video Broadcast” icon. If there is no signal, it prompts“No program
information. If there’s already a program list, you may click it to enter and
watch.
NOTE: the frequency range of different area is different. Please confirm the
area or city first before you searching for programs.While watching
TV programs, you may press the“ ”button to return to the program
list and change TV program.

3. Auto Scan
To search for programs automatically based on the area you set.
4. Manual Scan
To search for programs of a specified frequency.
NOTE: If it displays “No program information”after scanning, please check
if the antenna is pulled out, and if the place you located have strong
signals.
5. Area Setting
To set the area you are locating before search for programs.
Using USB disk
1. USB display mode
The player is with USB2.0 high speed jack, and the transfer speed reaches
to 3M/S.Works as a standard removable disk, it supports Window2000 and
above system and dose not need any driver. After connecting with the PC,
the display shows the connecting mode.
2. Charging display mode
The play will be power off automatically if there in no enough battery
capacity.You may charge the player with the enclosed charger. It displays the
charging icon while charging. And after finished the charging, the battery
icon is full.
System Upgrade
Copythermware“XXXXXX.RKW”intotheFLASH,andthenselecttheleinthe
Explorer. Press “MENU” button, a interface appears. Select “Yes” and then start
upgrading.
NOTE: make sure the power is not cut during an upgrade.
