2. Getting the Trike M2 ready
You need first to remove the original main frame plate. Replace it by the carbon fiber one provided in this kit.
Then, screw the 5 screws back.

Now you can put the servomotor on. For this, you need the carbon fiber -servomotor holding -plate and the 3-20 M3
screws with washers and nuts.
Then assemble it as shown on the picture below.
The servomotor won’t move at all thanks to this holding system.
Then clip the Drop Pod designed for the Trike M2 on the rear side of the Trike.

3. Parachute assembling
We are now going to welcome the parachute onboard using the Drop Pod we have previously clipped on the chassis.
To optimize your first opening, it is necessary to remove the lines closing the container. Make sure 3 or 4 lines are
going through the elastic loop as shown on the picture below.
Then position the parachute and its container onto the Drop Pod such as shown below:
Now get the strap and make it go through the front part of the Trike. Then, tighten it all pulling on the strap.

Then, connect the small servomotors that will be used to release the Rescue 1.8 to your receiver. Assign aneasily
accessible switch on your radio control (rather a 2-position switch).
Put the servomotor in the release position, and then attach the arm parallel to the carbon plate. Screw everything
together.
The arm should be pointing up when being in the high position thus allowing your Drop Pod to be locked and secured
when flying.

It’s now time to close the Drop Pod. Please grab the metal loop and make it go through the front frame of the chassis
and place it the way shown on the photo below.
You will simply need to operate your switch to drop the parachute. Indeed, the servomotor’s arm will let the Drop Pod
open when moving down close to the plate, thus letting the parachute open by itself thanks to the system inertia.
4. Parachute folding
It is really important that you properly fold the parachute every single time you use it to ensure it will be open quickly
and be efficient the very next time you need it.
First, please spread the parachute and make sure no lines are tangled up, and then inflate it.
Then spread it again and gather all the lines. Hold them in position using some ballast if possible.

Separate every single fabric panel. Evenly distribute themto the right and the left (5 on each side).
Then folds the panels the way shown on the picture below starting with the left panels, then do the exact same things for
the right ones.

Now we have the short side of the parachute folded, it is now time to fold it 3 times to get it fit in the container.
The trailing edge of the parachute should be positioned on the opening side of the container.
Grab the lines and wind them round your fingers till it looks like an 8 in order to store the lines in the container. Then
house the lines inside the container just in front of the parachute’s trailing edge.
Use the black elastic loop to close the container, as shown below.

Once the container is closed, use 3 or 4 lines to fully make sure it will stay closed till you want it to open.
Please often check that the container is well closed and kind of locked thanks to the lines. Do not hesitate to ventilate
and unfold your parachute if it is stored wet.
Please untie your wing from your trike to test the way your Rescue 1.8 is working. Make your system rotate using
centrifugal force and activate the switch to release the parachute and check that everything is working fine.
