Thank you for your purchase of Ops-Core Mk1 Performance Protective Eyewear. This advanced
solution combines over fty years of Gentex experience in high performance optics production
for military aircrew and premium eyewear OEMs with Ops-Core modularity and scalability
to deliver the ultimate in eyewear for elite defense, law enforcement, and security personnel.
Ops-Core Performance Protective Eyewear will offer UV, Ballistic, High Contrast, Laser Dazzle
and Advanced Laser Eye Protection. With proper care and maintenance, the Mk1’s advanced
optics will consistently deliver their intended high levels of performance and protection in the
harshest environments.

WARNING:
Lenses may only be removed and inserted in specic models by following these directions:
LENS REMOVAL
1. Place index nger of one hand
onto the bridge of the frame and
place the thumb of same hand on
top of the frame as shown.
LENS REPLACEMENT

2. Flex nose bridge with index nger
towards you while pushing the inside edge
of the lens out with the thumb as shown.
3. Using your thumb, push the lens
out of the lens insert groove.

LENS INSTALLATION
1. Hold frame and lens as shown and slide
the outside edge of the lens into the groove in
the lens insert.

2. Use your thumbs to apply pressure until
the outside edge of the lens snaps into the
groove in the lens insert.
3. Work your way around the edges until all
four corners of the lens are rmly snapped into
the frame.

FRAME ADJUSTMENT
If your Ops-Core Performance Protective Eyewear
feels too tight, your primary adjustment should be to
the front frame. Hold the frame in both hands and
carefully ex the frame outward. Make a number of
small adjustments checking each time to see if the
desired t has been achieved. Use caution: Bending
the frame too much or too quickly can result in
dislodging of lenses or distortion of the frame.
WARNING:
Do not attempt on polymer frames.
FIT ADJUSTMENT

TEMPLE ADJUSTMENT
If needed, a second adjustment can be
made to the narrow end of the eyewear
temples. Gently grasp each side temple
with one hand and make slight adjustments,
checking for desired t and comfort each
time. Make similar adjustments to each side
to preserve symmetry.

Ops-Core Mk1 Performance Protective Eyewear come with a specially-woven Microber Pouch for
cleaning and storage. Using the soft bag will help preserve the superior optical quality of your Gentex
lenses. Hand wash and air-dry the bag regularly.
When not in use, always carry your eyewear in the provided bag or other sturdy eyewear case. To
keep them in shape, use both hands to take them off and avoid putting them face down on a surface
– scratches can impede the performance or ruin your lenses.

To avoid scratches, never wipe the lenses when they’re dry (there
may be dust or particles) and don’t use paper towels or other rough
materials.
Check your Ops-Core Mk1 Performance Protective Eyewear regularly
to make sure the screws aren’t loose – if you nd one that is, tighten it
gently with a small screwdriver.

Unless an individual product is covered by a separately issued warranty, Gentex Corporation (“Gentex”) warrants that
all helmet components, accessories, peripherals, and parts will be free from defects in material or workmanship under
normal use and service for a period one (1) year from the date of delivery. All repair covered by this warranty shall be
performed at Gentex’s factory, or other such warranty repair facilities of Gentex as designated by Gentex unless Gentex
specically directs that repair services be performed at another location. Any defect corrected and found to be within
this scope of the warranty will be repaired by Gentex and all charges for labor and material will be borne by Gentex. If
it is determined that either no fault exists in Gentex, or the damage to be repaired was caused by negligence of the
user, its agents, employees or customers, you agree to pay all charges associated with each such repair. No statement,
recommendation or assistance made or offered by Gentex through its representatives to the user, its agents, employees,
or customers in connection with the purpose or intended use of any Gentex’s product shall be or constitute a waiver by
Gentex of any of the provisions of this warranty or change Gentex’s liability under this warranty.
EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, THE WARRANTY DESCRIBED ABOVE CONSTITUTES THE SOLE WARRANTY MADE
BY GENTEX EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED THAT EXTEND
BEYOND THE FACE HEREOF, HEREIN, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL GENTEX BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL
LIMITED WARRANTY

DAMAGES EVEN IF ADVISED OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND THE USER, ITS AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, OR CUSTOMERS REMEDIES
SHALL BE LIMITED TO SOLELY TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF NONCONFORMING UNITS OR PARTS, WHICH
AMOUNT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT UNDER WARRANTY.
Any tampering, misuse or negligence in handling or use of the product renders the warranty void. Further, the
warranty is void if, at any time, the user, its agents, employees or customers attempts to make any internal changes
to any of the components of a product; if at any time the power supplied to any part of the product exceeds
the rated tolerance; if any external device attached by the user, its agents, employees or customers creates
conditions exceeding the tolerance of the product; or if any time the serial number plate is removed or defaced.
OPERATION OF THE PRODUCTS THAT RENDERS THIS WARRANTY VOID WILL BE DEFINED TO INCLUDE ALL OF THE
POSSIBILITIES DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION, TOGETHER WITH ANY PRACTICE THAT RESULTS IN CONDITIONS EXCEEDING
THE DESIGN TOLERANCE OF THE PRODUCTS.
