Quick Start Guide

Welcome to OptConnect ascend dura
OptConnect ascend dura features 4G LTE CAT 4 connectivity
and dual-carrier redundancy. Built for industiral IoT
applications that require higher speed, with Wi-Fi, 1 WAN
and 3 LAN ports, always-on connection, greater bandwidth
for exible interfaces, and real-time monitoring and
management.
Dual-Carrier, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet Connectivity
The ascend dura is activated on both Verizon and AT&T
networks, which means that if one network goes down,
ascend dura automatically switches carrier networks
guaranteeing your equipment stays connected.
Flexibly and securely connect internally via WiFi and
Ethernet. Support up to 100 simultaneous connections over
WiFi as well as 1 WAN and 3 LAN Ethernet ports to easily
handle connected devices in challenging device layout
environments.

Identify ascend dura

Simple steps to Place, Plug & Play
1. Attach the MAIN and AUX antennas to connectors
labeled mobile.
2. Attach the Wi-Fi antennas to connectors labeled Wi-Fi.
3. Atach the power adaptor to the power socket on the
front of the device. Then plug the other end of the
power adaptor into your power outlet.
4. As needed, attach ethernet ports to equipment and this
device following labels LAN/WAN.

FAQ
How do I log in to ascend dura?
There is no log in for ascend dura. OptConnect manages
all aspects of device as part of our Managed Wireless
Services.
How do I change ascend dura’s IP address, rewall
settings, etc.?
Each ascend dura you receive is congured to your
specications before it arrives. The ascend dura does not
need to be congured on site unless your equipment/
application requirements have changed. Contact our
Customer Care Center at 877.678.3343 to adjust the
device’s conguration.
