Titanium User Manual
To get the best out of your new scale, please read this brochure
carefully before using it for the first time. We also recommend that you
keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can have a
checklist of the functions of your scale.
WARRANTY TERMS
The weighing scales are covered by a 10-year guarantee that begins from
the purchase date. Due to the constant development of our products in
terms of function and design, we reserve the right to make changes to
the product without warning.
PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Remove the battery cover on the underside of the scale and insert the 2
new AAA batteries that you will find within the packaging. Make sure
that the batteries are correctly inserted respecting the correct polarities
illustrated on the battery cover and replace the cover. Please ensure that
you remove the transparent plastic protective cover on the plate of the
weighing scales.
Calibration step – Do NOT attempt without the proper calibration

weight present!
Calibration allows you to balance the scale to obtain proper measure.
1. Press the ON button of the scale. Do not put any weight on the tray.
2. Press « M » button and keep it pressed for 2 sec until the display
shows « CAL ».
3. Press « M » button again and it will display « CAL » blinking, then the
calibration weight 500g.
4. Put a 500-gram weight on the middle of the tray. The display will show
« PASS ».
5. Remove the weight from the tray and turn OFF the scale. Calibration is
complete.
USE
1. Place the scale on a level surface (the sensors in the rubber feet only
function properly when resting on a level surface)
2. Switch the scale on by pressing the “O” button and the value “0.0”
appears on the display.
3. The display shows the measuring units used g/gn/oz/ozt/dwt/ct. To
modify the measuring units, press in sequence the “M” button.
4. Place the object you wish to weigh on the weighing platform.
5. Wait until the display is stable, and then read the weight on the
display.

6. Use the tare function of the scale to weigh several consecutive objects
in the following manner:
a) Place the object you wish to weigh on the weighing platform.
c) Press the “T” button once to reset the weight. The weight of the first
object will now be displayed as zero, even though it remains on the
weighing platform.
d) Place the next object on the weighing platform (e.g. add a product
into the bowl) and read the weight when the display is stable. The
weight shown on the display is that of the product which has just been
added following the use of the Tare function.
Adjust the auto shut-off time
Turn the scale on. “0.00” will be shown on the display. Hold the “T”
button and the display will show “00”. Press the “M” button to adjust the
auto shut-off time. “00” means manual shut-off. “60” means it will turn
off after 1 minute of non-use. “120” means it will turn off after 2 minutes
of non-use. “180” means it will turn off after 3 minutes of non-use. Then
press the “ON/ OFF” button to confirm it. The display will show “PASS” to
indicate successful setting.
SAFETY MEASURES
1. Incorrect use of the scale may damage it.

2. Use only for its intended purpose. The manufacturer is not responsible
for any injury or damage from incorrect use or handing.
3. For domestic use only.
4. Do not place the scale on carpet or uneven surface.
5. Do not place or store near a powerful heat source or in a damp
environment.
6. Do not immerse in water or allow the scale to get wet.
7. Do not expose to direct sunlight for long periods.
8. Remove the batteries if the scale remains unused for a prolonged
period.
9. Do not attempt to weigh objects which exceed the scales maximum
capacity of 500g/ 17,64 oz/8818,5gn
10. If the scale has been damaged, it should be inspected and if
necessary repairs made. Modifications to the scale will void the
warranty.
NOTE
1. If you try to weigh something heavier than the scale can bear (more
than 500g/ 17,64 oz/8818,5gn) the display will show “O-LD” (Overload).
2. The text “LO” on the display indicates that the 2xAAA batteries are no
longer active, please proceed in substituting them.
3. If you wish to move the scale, you should turn it off before moving.

4. Do not switch it on again until it is placed correctly on a level surface.
The sensor only functions properly when resting on a level surface.
CLEANING
1. Never immerse the scale in water.
2. No water must penetrate the body of the weighing scales.
3. Clean the scale by wiping it with a clean and damp cloth.
4. A little detergent can be added if the scale is heavily soiled but use
care when cleaning the scale, as it may damage the outside surfaces of
the scale.
5. Leave the scale to dry completely before re-using.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
1. Remove the cover on the back of the scale, take out the batteries and
insert two new AAA batteries observing the correct polarity indicated in
the battery compartment and close the lid.
2. If the symbol “LO” is shown on the display, or if you cannot switch on
the scale, or it does not work correctly, you should replace the batteries.
3. Leaking batteries must be replaced immediately, as these can damage
the scale.
4. Used batteries should, if possible, be deposited in a special container
for used batteries or at a recycling point.

5. Remove the batteries if the scale is not used for a prolonged period.
