The intended use of the device
• The device is intended solely for the personal listening of audio files to the
extent specified by the technical and operating parameters and functions,
safety and user instructions and external influences of the operating
environment.
• ORAVA electrical appliances are manufactured in accordance with the
state of the art and recognized safety-technical rules. Nevertheless,
the use or use contrary to designation may result in the risk of injury or
endanger the life of the user or third person, damage to the device and
other material values.

Check/Commissioning
• We recommend performing both initial and subsequent regular machine
inspections. Only use the device with accessories supplied and approved
by the manufacturer.
• Never use the appliance if it is incomplete, damaged, or if parts or
accessories (eg due to fall) have been damaged during use.
There is a risk of serious injury!
• Check and assemble the device before operating it as described in “Before
Use”.
• Never clean the device (body with electrical parts) in a way that it could
get into the liquid and flood the liquid into the device.
• Clean the electrical parts with a damp cloth only and wipe dry or let it dry.
Keep the device clean and dry.

• If the device has been stored at lower temperatures, first acclimate it
(about ½ to 1 hour) before further use to remove any moisture inside the

Operation / Use
Warning!
• This device may only be used with original and non-
damaged parts and accessories. For the suitability and
proper use, read the section “Use”.

• Do not use or place the appliance near water
containers. If the appliance falls into the water, turn it off
and allow the appliance to dry completely.
• If the device subsequently shows signs of malfunction
or damage, take it to a specialist garage for inspection.
• Never overload the equipment beyond the limits
specified by the technical specifications!
• Do not expose the device to:
- direct sunlight, sources of excessive heat,
- vibration and mechanical stress,
- polluting chemicals,
- water and excess moisture,
- insects, plants,
- aggressive environmental influences.

• Observe the operating mode of the device (operating
time/operation and breaks) in accordance with the
operating and operating instructions. Clean the device
regularly.
Pollution of the device may result in a decrease

dust. The appliance may be the source of scaling, which may result in the
ignition of dust or vapors.

Electrical safety

Bluetooth technology
Warning!
• Microwave radiation from a Bluetooth device may have a negative impact
on the proper operation of electronic medical devices. Switch off this
Bluetooth device at the following locations, as this may present a risk of
danger:
near flammable gases, hospitals, trains, aircraft or service stations; near
automatic doors or fire alarms.
• Be careful when communicating using Bluetooth wireless technology.
• We are not responsible for the leak of Bluetooth communication
information.
• To ensure compliance with the Bluetooth standards specified by the
Bluetooth SIG and authentication, you need a Bluetooth-enabled device.
• Although the connected device complies with the Bluetooth standard,
some devices may not be able to connect or function properly, depending
on the features or specifications of the device.
Inserted battery notifications
• If the headset is powered by a rechargeable battery, charge it only with
suitable rechargeable chargers designed for these headphones.
• If you do not own the charger, the battery is charging while connected to
the PC via the supplied USB cable.
• When you are not using the charger, disconnect the charger from the
mains and the headphones.
• Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to the charger, as
overcharging may shorten its life.
• If you do not use a fully charged battery, it will self-discharge.
• Never use a damaged charger.
• Battery capacity and battery life will be reduced if you leave the headset in
hot or cold places, such as a closed car in summer or winter.
• Always keep the battery in an environment with a temperature between 15
°C and 25 °C.
• Battery performance is particularly limited at temperatures below freezing.
• The rechargeable battery is located inside the headphones and is not
accessible to the customer.
• Do not throw unnecessary batteries into the fire - they could explode.
• The battery can explode even when damaged.

Cleaning the headphones and their accessories
• When using and cleaning the headphones, observe the following
procedure and instructions:
- Keep the headphones dry. Precipitation, humidity, and various fluids and
condensates contain minerals that cause corrosion of electronic circuits.
When the headphones are closed, allow them to dry completely.
- Do not use or store the headphones in a dusty and dirty environment. It
may shorten the life of electronic circuits, damage to the battery and the
deformation or melting of some plastics.
- Do not store the headphones in a cool environment. When the
headphones are warmed to the operating temperature, condensation can
occur inside them and damage the electronic circuits.
- Do not attempt to open the headphones.
- Do not let the headphones fall, do not bother and do not mess with
them. By rough handling you can damage internal circuits and delicate
mechanics.
- Do not color the headphones. Color can wear moving parts and prevent
proper operation.
Warning!
• Listening with a device at high volume may damage your hearing. For
reasons of road safety, do not use the device while driving or cycling.
There is a risk of serious injury!
• Never underestimate the potential hazards and take extreme caution!!!

Introduction
Stereo Bluetooth Headset lets you wirelessly listen to music from your
compatible audio / phone and connected
with a compatible mobile phone, also make calls and receive calls in
handsfree mode.
The player can be the function of the audio player of your mobile phone,
tablet or laptop or a separate music player. You can use the headset with
compatible devices that support Bluetooth wireless technology.
You can also use the headphones as standard headphones after connecting
them to the audio output jack on the source device with the supplied mini
jack (3.5 mm) jack cable.
Be sure to read this manual carefully before using the headphones. Also
read the instructions for your mobile phone (tablet, other Bluetooth device)
that contains important safety information
and maintenance.
Keep the headphones and their accessories out of the reach of small
children.
Power sources
Power from built-in rechargeable battery
The device is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery.
Before first use or whenever the battery is weak (the red LED blinks every
5 seconds, the beeps sound every 5 minutes, or the headset switches off
completely), charge the battery. You can charge your device from a power
source with a suitable charger that has a microUSB connector.
Connect the charger to a power socket and connect the microUSB
connector to the microUSB connector on the headphones.
If you do not own a suitable charger, you can charge the battery by
connecting the headphones to the PC with the supplied USB cable. When
connected, the battery will be charged in the headphones from the PC.
During charging, the red LED lights up. When the indicator goes off, the
battery is fully charged.

General Operations
Turn on your device
To turn on the device, press and hold u for 2 seconds. The bluetooth LED
lights up for 1 second and the device is turned on. To enable the pairing
mode, turn the machine off from the off state by pressing and holding the
u button for 2 seconds.
Once the unit is turned on, a “Pairing” sound will sound and the bluetooth
and red LED will flash alternately (pairing preparation).
The device always switches to Bluetooth mode (default setting).
Turn off the device
To turn off the device, press and hold the u button for 2 seconds. The LED
turns off when the device is turned off.
When you turn it on again, the device always switches to Bluetooth mode
(default), regardless of the shutdown mode.
Inserting earphones
Place the earphones on your ears so that your ear shells comfortably sit on
your ears. L Place a letter marked L with your left ear and a shell marked
with the letter R on your right ear.
Caution!
When using headphones, your ability to perceive ambient sounds is
reduced. Do not use headphones where there is danger.

Using Bluetooth mode
Pair the headset with another Bluetooth device
You need to pair your earphones first with your other Bluetooth devices
(e.g., a mobile phone).
1 Put the headset off near another Bluetooth device (max. 1 meter apart).
2 Turn the machine off from the off state by pressing and holding the button
u for 2 seconds. Once the unit is turned on, a “Pairing” sound will sound
and the bluetooth and red LED indicator (pairing preparation) will blink
alternately.
3 Turn Bluetooth on other Bluetooth devices (for example, on the phone).
See the device’s operating instructions for details.
4 On a different Bluetooth device, perform the pairing procedure so that the
device detects these headphones. If “S-500 BT” does not appear on the
device display, repeat the procedure from step 2.
Note
Some devices can not see the list of detected devices.
5 On another Bluetooth device, select “S-500 BT” shown on the Bluetooth
device’s display.
6 If the display of the connected Bluetooth device shows a prompt for
entering the code, enter “0000” and confirm.
7 The Bluetooth connection is inserted and the LED on the headphones
remains blinking slowly.
The headphones will be connected to your Bluetooth device and will be in
standby mode.
Council
To pair with other Bluetooth devices, repeat steps 1 through 6 for each
device.
Note
• If the pairing mode is canceled during the process, start again from step 2.
• The code for these earphones is “0000”. These handsets can not be paired
with a Bluetooth device whose code is not “0000”.
• If you paired a Bluetooth device, you do not need to re-pair it. However, if
pairing information from another device is deleted etc., you may need to
re-pair.

Receive a call and make a call through the
headset
When the headset is paired with your mobile phone, you can take a call or
make a call through them.
Receive a call
You have the headphones paired with your mobile phone attached to your
ears.
An incoming call will sound a ringing tone both from the phone and the
headset.
To answer a call, press u or the call key on the phone.
The caller’s voice will be heard in the headphones and you can
communicate with the caller via the microphone built into the headset.
Use the m/- and M/+ keys to adjust the volume as needed. To end a
call, press u or use the phone keys. If the caller terminates the call, there
is no need to press any end call button.
To switch the call from the headset to the connected phone, press and hold
u and turn off the headset.
Call
You have the headphones paired with your mobile phone attached to your
ears.
On the phone, dial the called party. The ringing tone will sound in the
headphones.
When you receive a call to the called party, you will hear his voice in the
headset and you can communicate with the caller via the microphone built
into the headset.
Use the m/- and M/+ keys to adjust the volume as needed. To end a call,
press u or use the phone keys. If the caller terminates the call, there is no
need to press any end call button.
To switch the call from the headset to the connected phone, press and hold
u and turn off the headset.

Call the last dialed number
You have the headphones paired with your mobile phone
Press the u key to dial the last call number. The ringing tone will sound in
the headphones.
When you receive a call to the called party, you will hear his voice in the
headset and you can communicate with the caller via the microphone built
into the headset.
Use the m/- and M/+ keys to adjust the volume as needed. To end a call,
press u or use the phone keys. If the caller terminates the call, there is no
need to press any end call button.
To switch the call from the headset to the connected phone, press and hold
u and turn off the headset.
Reject incoming call
During the ringing of an incoming call, press the u button twice to
reject an incoming call and turn off the ringtone.
Note
If a call is in progress while listening to music via Bluetooth, the playback
sound is interrupted and the ringing tone starts playing. When you end the
call, the music sound resumes.

Wireless music listening through headphones
When the headset is paired with your other Bluetooth device (mobile phone,
tablet, notebook, audio player with Bluetooth interface), you can wirelessly
listen to music played on other Bluetooth devices and make basic Bluetooth
device operations.
The Bluetooth device must support the Advanced Audio Distribution
Profile (A2DP) Bluetooth Profile, which enables high-quality wireless audio
reproduction.
1 Insert a Bluetooth connection between these handsets and the device.
Refer to the pairing section for details on how to get the Bluetooth
connection.
2 Start playback on the connected Bluetooth device and adjust the volume.
Set the volume on the Bluetooth device to an appropriate level and adjust
the volume by pressing and holding the m/- and M/+.
3 Press u and the m/- and M/+ buttons on these headphones to control
the playback on the connected Bluetooth device, but only if the device
supports the AVRCP profile.
Press u to pause and resume playback, and briefly press m/-
and M/+ to switch to the previous or next track.
Available features may vary depending on the Bluetooth device.
See the instruction manual supplied with the Bluetooth device.
Warning!
The buttons on these headphones may not be functional to control every
connected Bluetooth device!
After you finish using the headphones, do the following:
- Turn Bluetooth off on other Bluetooth devices. See the device’s operating
instructions for details.
- Turn off other Bluetooth devices.
- Turn off these headphones.
Caution!
Listen to music at a reasonable volume level.
Long-term listening at high volume may damage your hearing.

Play MP3 and WMA files from a
microSD card
The headphones allow you to play MP3 and WMA audio files stored on the
microSD card.
1 Turn on the headphones.
2 Insert a microSD card containing compatible audio files into the microSD
slot on the headset.
Slide the card down and out of the earpiece so that it clicks.
To remove the card by pressing the card, do not put the bottom into the
slot until it is ejected, then pull it out.
3 After inserting the card and loading it, the LED will slowly blink blue.
4 Press u and the m/- and M/+ keys on the headset to control the
playback:
Use u to start, pause, and resume playback. Playing from the card is
done in random order.
By briefly pressing m/- and M/+, you can switch to the previous or next
track.
Press and hold m/- and M/+ to adjust the volume.
Stop listening to MP3 and WMA files
Press and hold the u button for 2 seconds to turn off the headphones.
After turning off, select the microSD card.
The next time you turn on the headset turns on in the default Bluetooth
mode.
Switch from microSD to Bluetooth mode
Press the m/- and M/+ button twice.
Caution!
Listen to music at a reasonable volume level.
Long-term listening at high volume may damage your hearing.

Audio reproduction from another
device (AUDIO IN)
The headphones allow you to listen to the sound from the connected
external audio device via the supplied line audio cable.
1 Turn on the headphones.
2 Connect the supplied audio cable to the 3.5 mm AUDIO IN jack on the
headset.
3 Connect the other mini plug to an audio output jack (3.5 mm) on an
external device (such as a mobile phone, iPod, notebook, tablet, PC, etc.).
4 If the headset is in Bluetooth mode and you are listening to music via
the Bluetooth interface, Bluetooth playback will automatically turn off and
audio from the equipment connected to the audio cable will be played
back.
At the same time, headphone power turns off (LED goes off).
5 You can set the volume on the connected device.
6 After use, disconnect the supplied audio cable from the headphones and
the connected audio equipment.
If the Bluetooth cable is active before connecting the cable, the
headphone power is restored after the cable is disconnected, as well as
sound reproduction from the Bluetooth interface.

Troubleshooting
If you experience problems with this device, check the following report. If
any problem persists, contact your dealer.
Common use
The headphones did not turn on.
- Charge the battery.
Pairing is not done.
- Place the headphones as close as possible to the Bluetooth device.
Bluetooth connection can not be performed.
- Make sure the headphones are turned on.
- Ensure that the Bluetooth enabled device is switched on and the Bluetooth
function is activated.
- Bluetooth connection data may not be retained in the headset.
If this happens, reconnect the headset with the Bluetooth device.
- Bluetooth connection has ended. Re-establish the Bluetooth connection.
Distorted sound.
- Make sure the headphones do not receive a different signal, from a
wireless LAN device, another 2.4 GHz device, or a microwave.
- Change the position of the headphones.
The range of the headphones is too short. (Looks like a sound.)
- If you are near a device that emits electromagnetic waves (eg wireless
LAN device, other Bluetooth device (ia) or microwave), move the
headphones further.

Listening to music
Do not hear the sound.
- Make sure the Bluetooth device and headset are on.
- Ensure that music is played on a Bluetooth device.
- Check that the headphones do not have the volume set to a low level.
- Check that the volume on the Bluetooth device that is equipped with the
volume control is not set to a low level.
- Re-pair the headset and Bluetooth device.
Low sound level.
- Increase the volume on the headphones.
- Increase the volume on a Bluetooth device that is equipped with a volume
control.
Phoning
No caller/receiver is heard.
- Make sure the Bluetooth mobile phone and the headset are on.
- Check the connection of the Bluetooth mobile phone and the headset.
- Make sure the Bluetooth mobile phone output is set for these headphones.
- Check that the headphones do not have the volume set to a low level.
- Check that the volume on your mobile phone with the volume control is not
set to a low level.
- If you are listening to music on the headphones, stop playback, press
u and make phone calls.
Weak sound from caller/receiver.
- Increase the volume on the headphones.
- Increase the volume on your mobile BLUETOOTH phone with a volume
control.

Maintenance and information
Cleaning the surface of the device
To clean the surface of the device and the controls, use a soft cloth slightly
moistened in water.
Do not use rough cloths, cleaning powders or solvents such as thinner,
benzine or alcohol.
The headphones are of good design and should therefore be handled with
care. The following recommendations will help you to observe the terms of
the warranty.
• Keep the headphones dry. Precipitation, humidity and various fluids
and condensates contain minerals that cause corrosion of electronic
circuits.
When the headphones are closed, allow them to dry completely.
• Do not use or store the headphones in a dusty and dirty environment.
Damage to moving parts and electronics may occur.
• Do not store the headphones in a hot environment. High temperature can
shorten the life of electronic circuits, damage the battery, and deform or
melt some plastics.
• Do not store the headphones in a cool environment. When the
headphones are warmed to the operating temperature, condensation can
occur inside them and damage the electronic circuits.
• Do not attempt to open the headphones.
• Do not let the headphones fall, do not cut or dispose of them. By rough
handling you can damage internal circuits and delicate mechanics.
• Nepharbit headphones. Color can wear moving parts and prevent proper
operation.
Warning!
Listening with a device at high volume may damage your hearing. For
reasons of road safety, do not use the device while driving or cycling.
