Intended use of the device
• The equipment is intended solely for determining the weight of food and
other small items in the household, to the extent determined by technical
and operational parameters and functions, safety and user instructions, and
external influences of the operating environment.
• The scale may not be used for weighting in business relationships, for
calculating fees and penalties and similar types of payments, in the
judiciary, in health care, in pharmaceutical laboratories, for pricing and for

1.3 Electrical safety
• This appliance is designed exclusively for safe low voltage supply - from the

1.4 Safety of persons
• This appliance is intended for use by persons without a professional
qualification (layperson) according to the instructions specified by the
manufacturer.
• Device operator includes activities such as switching on and off, user
manipulation and setting of operating parameters, visual or auditory
inspection of the equipment, and user cleaning and maintenance.
• This device may be used by children under 3 years of age and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
or knowledge when supervised or instructed to use the device safely and
understand the dangers involved.
• Children may not play with the device.
• Cleaning and maintenance of users may not be performed by children
without supervision.
1.5 Cleaning, maintenance and repairs
• Perform the normal user cleaning and maintenance of the appliance only
as recommended. Do not use solvents or harsh detergents and articles
for cleaning. Pollution and visible stains from touching fingers and/hands
can be cleaned using detergents specially designed to clean household
appliances and consumer electronics respectively. equipment installed in

• Electrical equipment is designed and manufactured in such a way as
to allow for safe operation and use by persons without a professional
qualification. Despite all the measures taken by the manufacturer to ensure
safe use, handling and use, it carries with it certain residual risks and
associated potential hazards.

have been used on the device and in the accompanying documentation:

Transport/Carriage
• When transporting and using, of the transport carriage be careful when

• Clean the appliance before operating it by following the instructions in
section
„Putting into operation“ or „ „Cleaning and maintenance“.
• Never clean the device (its electronics parts) in a way that could cause
the cleaning liquid to run into the device. Clean these parts with a slightly
moistened cloth and wipe dry or let it dry.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. There is a risk of
damage to the device!
Check/Startup
• It is recommended that you carry out the initial and subsequent periodic
inspections of the equipment.
• Never use the appliance if it is incomplete, damaged, or any part of it has
been damaged during use.
• Do not use non-original and incomplete parts of the device and its
accessories. There is a risk of serious injury!

• If the equipment has been transported and stored at low temperatures or
excessive humidity (eg in the winter), first leave it ½ to 1 hour „acclimatize“
at room temperature to remove any moisture in the electronics that occurs
when the ambient temperature changes. There is a risk of damage to the
device!
Location/Installation
• Only place the device on:
- Straight, firm and stable pads - for tables and desks, and for furniture parts
intended for the use of kitchen utensils.
• Always make sure that the place where you want to place the machine has
sufficient mechanical strength and load capacity.
Warning!
• Do not place the appliance:
- to an uneven, unstable and dirty surface,
- on the narrow edge of tables, tables or parts of furniture,
- in the vicinity of containers with water or other liquids.
• Do not expose the device to:
- direct sunlight and equipment producing excessive heat,
- a sudden and significant change in ambient temperature,
- vibrations and mechanical stress,
- excessive dust,
- water and excess moisture,
- insect,
- an aggressive external environment.
Warning!
• Place the device in a place where children can not reach freely.
• Prevent children from handling the device. The device may not over-age
children and cause injury.
• Mechanical damage (eg cracking of the plastic covers) of the device can
cause serious injury.

Operation/Supervision
• For the correct and reliable operation of an electronic device that
has been stored at low temperatures and at high humidity (eg in
the winter), first allow the device to acclimate.
• Use the appliance horizontally and placed on a fixed pad. An
uneven, unstable or soft pad may adversely affect the accuracy of
weight measurement results.
• Do not use the device near a strong electromagnetic field. Effect
of a strong electromagnetic field may affect the accuracy of the
electronic device‘s functions.
• Do not use the appliance near water containers. If the appliance
falls into the water, take it to a specialist service to check if it is
safe and working properly.

• Store the device in a clean and dry place. Do not load the device
during storage.
• Never overload the machine beyond the limits set by the technical
specifications!
• If the device has non-standard features, have it checked by a
specialist workshop.
• If any safety component (mechanical, electrical/electronic) is part
of the device, never disable this part/component! If the safety
component is damaged or not working, do not use the appliance!
• Never underestimate the potential hazards and pay extra caution !!!
Power Supplies/Batteries
Safety instructions for replacing and loading with the power supply -
batteries.
Warning!
• When using electrical/electronic devices that are equipped with a
DC voltage source - such as a battery or accumulator, always follow
important safety instructions and warnings when operating and
handling these sources.

• Never charge the batteries!
• Never disassemble the batteries!
• Never heat the batteries or throw them into the fire! Failure to follow the
safety instructions could result in:

Warning!
• The device is equipped with a power source that can be exchanged for
battery users.
• Risk of electric shock, explosion, electrolyte leakage, corrosion in case
of incorrect exchange and handling.
• Dispose of batteries in accordance with applicable regulations and
provisions for disposal of electronic devices.
Warning!
• Always store batteries out of reach of children, inappropriate persons
and pets.
• Carefully keep the batteries in use so that children can not swallow
them and dispose of them as soon as possible. If swallowing occurs,
seek medical advice immediately.
• Use only the same or equivalent type of battery specified by the
manufacturer. Do not use new batteries together with old ones. This
may result in damage to the device.
• Wipe the battery with dry cloth before inserting it into the machine. This
will ensure a better electrical contact.

• Insert the batteries to match the „+“ and „-“ symbols on the batteries
and on the inside of the device cover.
• Do not handle the batteries with metal tools (eg tweezers, etc.).
Conductive contact between the two poles of the battery may cause a
short circuit.
• If you are not using the device for a long time, it is recommended
to remove the batteries from the device. This protects your device
from damage to leaking batteries. If the batteries leak out, have the
appliance cleaned by an authorized service center.
Cleaning and maintenance of food contact equipment.
• The appliance is designed for food contact. Therefore, always clean
thoroughly and remove all parts of food residues before using it for the
first time and always after use.
• Perform the following steps to clean the device:
- Use only a soft sponge or cloth to clean the covers, parts and
accessories of the appliance and liquid detergents designed for
cleaning and washing the dishwasher.
• Do not use abrasive (abrasive) cleaners, steel wires, cleaning
powders, and the like. Do not use any scrapers and sharp tools.
• Do not use steam and/or high pressure cleaners as they may cause
damage to parts of the unit.
• Apply a small amount of liquid detergent concentrate to the sponge
or cloth. Clean the parts with adequate pressure, but wipe them
thoroughly and dispose of all food and grease residues.
• Then clean the cleaned surfaces of the appliance and its parts with a
soft cloth and wash with warm water if necessary.
• Apply this procedure appropriately, or repeat 2-3 times to remove all
food and detergent residues.
• Always thoroughly dry the cleaned and washed surfaces of the
appliance and its parts with a soft cloth or paper cloth.

Preparation
Power supply
The device operates on two 1.5 V AAA batteries.
Before using the device, you need to insert
the batteries into the device. Open the battery
compartment cover and insert two 1.5 V
batteries. Observe correct polarity + and -.
Close the battery compartment cover.
Press the “ON/OFF” button to turn on the
balance and press the button again to switch
off the balance “ON/OFF”. A short beep
sounds when you turn it on.
Location
Place the machine on a flat, firm and hard surface.
Do not place it on the carpet.

Weighing
1 Place a bowl or other container on the
weighing board before switching on the
appliance.
2 Press the “ON/OFF” button to switch on the
balance.
3 Wait until “0” appears on the display before
weighing.
4 Press „UNIT“ to select the weighing mode
in grams or kilograms.
5 Place the prepared food on the dish (the weight will appear on the display).
If the weight of the food exceeds 5,000 g (depending on the model), the
display shows the error message „Err“.
Switching units
The weight is factory set to g and kg units.
If you need to change units of measure from metric
(g, kg) to english (lb, oz) and vice versa, follow these steps:
1. Press the UNIT button to select metric (g, kg) or
english (lb, oz).
„ZERO“ and „TARE“ functions
If you want to weigh several types of food and do not want
to empty the bowl after each weighing,
follow these steps:
Case 1: If the total weight of the weighed food is less
than or equal to 4% of the maximum weight
(up to 200 g for the 5 000 g model)
After the first weighing, press the „Z/ T“ button. “0g” appears on the display.
“ZERO” in the lower left corner of the display indicates that the “ZERO”
function is active. You can add and weigh other foods up to the maximum load
capacity 5,000 g, while you no longer need to remove the weighed food from
the bowl (always press the „Z/T“ button after adding and weighing the next
food).

Case 2: If the total weight of the weighed food is
greater than 4% of the maximum weight
(more than 200 g for a 5,000 g model)
After the first weighing, press the “Z/T” button. “0g”
appears on the display. “TARE” in the upper left corner
of the display indicates that the “TARE” function is active.
The maximum load capacity is reduced by the total
weight of the food to be weighed.
In this case, pressing “Z/T” again shows “0g” on the
display and pressing “Z/T” again shows the total weight of all foods.
Timer function (timer)
1. Press the T-SET button to activate the timer function. The character is
displayed. Use the $ (Z/T) and 4 (UNIT) buttons to set the first digit.
Press T-SET again to set the second to fourth digits.
2. After setting the time span, press the T-SET button to start the countdown.
3. Press the T-SET button to change the timer setting. The time range is
cleared and then set a new time.
4. When the timer counts down to “00:00”, the alarm will sound
“Beep” 60 times. Press the T-SET button to turn off the beep. The balance
switches off automatically after approx. 120 seconds.
6. The maximum time that can be set is 99:59 (99 minutes, 59 seconds).
Current temperature function
1. The current temperature is displayed in the upper right corner of the display.
2. Temperature range: 0 +40 ° C (± 0.5 ° C tolerance)

Automatic shutdown
If the balance is not used for a certain period of
time and the display shows zero for a longer period of
time, the balance will automatically turn off in
approximately 2 minutes.
Manual shutdown
Press the “ON/OFF” button to turn off the unit after use.
The display goes out.
Warning indicators
1 Low batteries. The batteries need to be
replaced with new ones.
2 The maximum load capacity of 5,000 g has
been exceeded. Remove the weighed food
immediately to avoid damage to the scales.

Battery replacement and disposal
If “Lo” appears on the display, the batteries must be replaced.
To dispose of used batteries in an environmentally friendly way, please
take them to your specialist dealer or dispose of them in special containers
prepared for this purpose by the municipality. Please inform yourself about
how to dispose of batteries according to local regulations.
Do not dispose of them in unsorted municipal waste.
If you do not plan to use the device for an extended period of time, remove
the batteries. This will prevent them from being discharged and potentially
damaging the device by leaking electrolyte.

Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the scale only with a dry cloth slightly moistened with water. Do not use
any abrasive cleaning agents or solvents such as alcohol, benzine, or thinner.
Do not immerse the scale in water.
Clean all metal parts immediately after weighing fatty foods, spices, heavily
flavored and colored foods. Avoid contact of the scale with sour foods (citrus
juices, etc.).
Warning
If the display still shows the error message „Err“ or if the balance does not
work even if the batteries have been replaced, contact your dealer or an
authorized service center.

Warranty conditions
A warranty period of 24 months is provided for this device. When exercising the right to
a warranty service, return the warranty card and the cash receipt of the equipment to
the service center together with the product. The date of the warranty card and proof of
purchase must be the same. If not, the warranty will not be granted.
• The right to free repair of the product during the warranty period expires if:
- the user does not submit a valid warranty and proof of purchase of the product;
- malfunctions due to incorrect connection, improper use and maintenance (dusty
environment), mechanical damage, engine failure and residential installation;
- do unauthorized interference or alteration in the product by an unauthorized person
and/or a malfunction due to the use of non-original spare parts;
- the appliance is not used according to the enclosed operating instructions.
Other terms and conditions related to the warranty
The shop where the device is sold to the consumer is obliged to show the device to the
buyer and inform the buyer:
- the way it is used and handled;
- how warranty repairs are available;
- with the nearest warranty service as well as the way the warranty service is dispatched
to the supplier‘s service center;
- properly fill in the warranty card. Incorrect and incomplete warranty card is void and the
consumer loses the right to warranty;
- the guarantee / repair, exchange or withdrawal of the contract / are covered by the
relevant provisions of the Civil Code and the Complaint Rules.
