HANDLING TIPS
1. Store the scale horizontally.
2. Do not overload the scale.
3. The scale is for home use only.
4. Do not submerge scale in water.
5. Do not leave any objects on top of scale if the product is not to be used during a prolonged period of
time. Also remove the battery to prevent it from being depleted or leaking.
6. To avoid possible injury, do not stand on the edge of the platform.
7. Place the scale in an area free from direct sunlight, heating equipment, high humidity, or extreme
temperature change.
8. To avoid slipping, make sure your feet are dry before standing on the scale.
9. Strong magnetic fields may interfere with the operation of the scale. Avoid operating the scale in
such areas.

PREPARATIONS BEFORE USE
1. Remove the insulation sheet and select a weight unit.
2. Insert the Lithium battery (included). (Note: Make sure battery is pushed all the way into its slot. Also
make sure + side of battery is facing out), Insert Lithium battery into either the up or down battery
slot). (Optional: You can insert another Lithium battery into the free slot. Using two batteries to power
the scale extends the scale’s battery life.)

3. Scale Setup. Place the scale on a hard flat surface. Tap the front corner (right or left) of the scale with
your foot. The digit will display. Then the display will show “0.0”. This indicates that the
scale has been setup correctly.
a. Note. This “Scale Setup” procedure applies only after installing a battery. After completing
“Scale Setup”, it is need to be performed again before each weigh.
b. Note. If you step on the platform before “0.0” appears, you will not obtain a reading. If this
happens, step off the scale, then wait for display to turn off, follow above steps to setup scale.
SCALE OPERATION
To measure weight, simply stand with both feet in the center of the scale’s platform. Be sure to stand
erect and remain still. It will show your weight and then display it steady.
Note: If a weight less than 10kg is placed on the scale, the scale will not activate. To weigh
something less than 10kg, activate the scale first by tapping the front corner (right or left)
of the scale with your foot.
When no weight is on the scale for 10 seconds, the scale will turn off automatically.
GETTING ACCURATE READINGS
1. If the scale has not been used for a long time, proceed as follows
a. First, step lightly on the front corner (right or left) of the scale first to activate the scale.
b. Second, wait for the scale to turn off. Then follow above steps to setup scale.
2. If the scale is moved, proceed as follows:
a. Remove the battery from the scale for 5 seconds
b. Replace the battery
c. Follow “Scale Setup” instruction
3. Place scale on flat hard surface. Do not use scale on carpet because the reading will be inaccurate.
4. If the reading appears inaccurate, please check if the battery and the contact point are well connected.
If scale has been in use for a long time, replace the battery and try again.
USAGE NOTES
1. When the display shows “Err”, it means that the scale is overloaded.
2. When the display shows “Lo”, it means that the battery is low. Please replace the battery as soon as
possible.
3. If scale display shows random digits or scale does not automatically shut off, proceed as follows:
a. Remove the battery for 10 seconds
b. Replace battery(see “Preparations Before Use)
c. Follow “Scale Setup” instruction
