Q & A
Four channels
The O2 wireless guitar system has four different
channels, and can use up to 4 pair of systems at the
same time. When your band plays for guitar, bass,
keyboard and other instruments, O2 can set up
different channels for them to prevent signal
interference. When there is only one player, the
different channel function can also be used for him/her
to prevent interferences from different frequency
bands of routers or other WIFI devices. Generally we
recommend to use Channel A
Portable Plug-and- Play design
O2 wireless system uses a portable design; both the
receiver and the receiver are plug-and-play design. It
is very convenient for fast switching among guitar,
bass, amplifiers, effect pedal and other audio
equipments. It provides more flexibility in adjusting the
equipments.
One Transmitter and multiple Receivers
When using a transmitter, you can use multiple
receivers. For example, if you want to connect a guitar
Q & A
Four channels
The Ortega DIGITAL WIRELESS SYSTEM has four
different channels and can operate with 4 active pairs
of systems at the same time. When your band uses
several pairs for guitar, bass, keyboard and one other
instrument, you can set up 4 different channels
preventing signal interferences. When there is only one
player, the different channel function can also be used
to prevent interferences from different frequency bands
of routers or other WIFI devices. Generally we
recommend to use Channel A.
Portable Plug-and-Play design
The Ortega DIGITAL WIRELESS SYSTEM features a
portable format; both the transmitter and the receiver
are designed for plug-and-play. The system is very
convenient for fast switching among guitar, bass,
amplifiers, effect pedals and other audio equipment.
One Transmitter and multiple Receivers
When using a transmitter, you can use multiple
receivers. For example: If you want to connect a guitar

12
to two amplifiers or connect to effect pedal and pedal
tuner, you need just use multiple receivers with setting
up to be the same channel.
O2 Receiver
Since O2 is the 2.4 GHz wireless system, please
avoid putting the receiver close to other signal emitting
devices. It is recommended that your O2 receiver
keep a distance of more than 3 meters from the other
2.4 GHz transmitter and WIFI router.
Auto sleep/wake up mode
The auto sleep/wake up mode will start when over
10 seconds there is still on signal input,it make you
more silent when you stop playing, meanwhile, it
also help you to save the battery volume.
Power charge
There is a “Y” shape cable in the package. It can
charge the transmitter and receiver at the same time.
The voltage output is 5V. The channel A LED never
turn to red for normal use. Red A LED light flashing
means low battery which requires immediate power
charge.
to two amplifiers, you just need to use multiple receivers
being set to the same channel as your transmitter.
Receiver
As the system is working with 2.4 GHz, please avoid
putting the receiver close to other signal emitting
devices. It is recommended that your receiver keeps a
distance of more than 3 meters from other 2.4 GHz
transmitters and WIFI routers.
Auto sleep/wake up mode
The auto sleep/wake up mode will activate when there
is no signal input for over 10 seconds. On the one hand
this feature cuts the signal and prevents you from
unwanted noise on stage and on the other hand it also
helps you to save battery life.
Power charge
You find a “Y” shaped cable in the package. It can
charge the transmitter and receiver at the same time.
The voltage output is 5V. The channel A LED never turns
to red during normal use. If the A LED light is flashing
this means low battery life which requires immediate
power charge.

13
When in charging,the A B C D LED will flash orderly,
different LED flash indicate different battery volume.
you can judge according to the A B C D,for example
the A B LEDs are in solid green, the C LED is flashing,
it indicate the A B part is charged full and now is
charging C,in another words 50% battery volume is
charged,when battery charged full, the A B C D LED
will become solid green.
Channe LED Flashing after making pairs finished
The channel LED light flashing indicates there is signal
interference. Please switch to another channel, turn
off or stay away from other 2.4GHZ WIFI, to make
sure the U2 transmitter and receiver antennae be in
the signal receiving range.
Antennae angle
The rear end of O2 is the antenna, which can be used
at about an angel of 180°. The front signal of the
transmitter and the receiver is the strongest. Please
try to keep the front to face each other during using.
Do not block the antenna with your hand or other
items, and keep the signal within the receiving range
of the antenna.
When confront with interferrence from other devices
When in charging mode, the A B C D LED will flash
orderly with indicating the battery status. For example: If
both LEDs, A and B, are solid green and the C LED is
flashing, it indicates that 2/4 of the battery life is
charged fully and that it continues charging. In another
words 50% battery life is charged. When the battery is
fully restored, the A B C D LEDs will all become solid
green.
Channel LED flashing after pairing
If the channel LED light is flashing it indicates that there
is a signal interference. Please switch to another channel
and turn off or stay away from other 2.4GHZ WIFI
sources. Make sure the transmitter and receiver devices
are in a signal receiving range.
Antenna angle
The antenna is located at the rear end of the devices.
There the signal of the transmitter and the receiver is
the strongest. It can be used at about an angel of 180°.
Please adjust the devices so that the front of the
transmitter and receiver are facing each other during
usage. Do not block the antenna with your hand or any
other item and keep the signal within the receiving
range of the antenna.

14
or need more distance for using, you can change the
antenna's angle and adjust it to be the best condition.
Supportive pickup and musical instrument
O2 wireless system can works for passive guitar
and active pickup, piezoelectric acoustic guitar pickup,
piezoelectric violin pickup.
Transmitter is better to connect to the instrument.
Please avoid connecting it to distortion effect pedal
or high power output interface which may incur the
timbre distortion.
USB port
USB only works for charging function, does not
support firmware upgrade.
Being confronted with interferrence from other devices or
needing a higher reach on stage, you can change the
antenna's angle and adjust it to the best condition.
Pickups and preamp systems
The Ortega DIGITAL WIRELESS SYSTEM works with
passive and active electronics, piezoelectric acoustic
guitar pickups and piezoelectric violin pickups.
Please connect the transmitter directly to your
instrument. Avoid connecting it to distortion/overdrive
pedals or high power output interfaces.
USB
USB only works for charging the battery and does not
support firmware upgrades.
