Chapter 1 Product Overview
IOT-G2S-01 GPRS DTU (Data Terminal Unit), researched and developed by Heyuan
Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., is embedded with high-performance 32-bit CPU and
industrial-grade wireless transmission terminal. It is equipped with 1 -channel RS485
communication interface and supports transparent data transmission and various
communication protocols, i.e. Modbus communication protocol, DL/T 645 communication
protocol.
IOT-G2S-01 GPRS DTU is widely used in fields like power automatic system, industrial
automation, smart grids, intelligent buildings, smart homes, intelligent traffic, and
firefighting monitoring etc.

• GPRS data communication and 1*RS485 standard communication interface
• Supporting various communication protocols, i.e. Modbus communication protocol, DL/T

communication with devices supporting different protocols is available.

Chapter 6 Installation
6.1 Install Method
DIN Rail mounting.
6.2 Installation Environment
It should be installed in a dry and dust free environment at temperature of -40℃~85℃.
Avoid exposing to excessive heat, radiation and high electrical noise sources.
6.3 Antenna and SIM Card Installation
The antenna interface of IOT-G2S-01 adopts female SMA pedestal. Please rotate clockwise
the antenna and fix it tightly to ensure the signal quality. When installing or taking out the
SIM card, pointy item can be used.
Notice: Installation when power is on is forbidden.
Chapter 7 After-sales Service
Product Warranty
1. The product warranty period is one year.
2. The company is responsible for free maintenance or exchange within one-year warranty
period.
3. The cost of the components and freight shall be charged for improper installation and/or
operation.
4. Over the warranty period, part of the maintenance cost according to actual situation will
be charged.
Service Guarantee
1. Product technical consulting and quality complaints will be replied within 12 hours.
2. Solutions for quality complaints will be provided within 24 hours.
3. Except statutory holidays and force majeure.
