Step-by-Step Instruction
STEP 1: LED placement (x42)
The kit comes with extra LEDs in case of defects or misplacement. When placing components with longer leads, it is helpful
to bend the lead to hold the component in place while soldering.
•The ‘longer’ lead from the LED is positive (+)
•Finish all 42 required LEDs before moving to step 2.
•Use a diagonal clipper to cut off the lead once soldering has been completed.

STEP 2: Place and solder the two Mini Push Buttons (x2)
•There is no polarity with the push buttons.

Step 3: Solder the Female Header (x2) to the BACK of the PCB.
•Please note that this completes the first PCB

Step 4: Place and solder the 330-ohm resistors (x7)
•Start of second PCB
•Resistors do not have polarity
Step 5: Place and solder the 1K resistors (x3)
•No polarity

Step 6: Place and solder the capacitor (x1)
•Capacitors do not have polarity
Step 7: Place and solder the On/Off switch
•Make sure the switch is pointing outward from the PCB

Step 8: Place and solder IC into place.
•Match the ‘notch’ on the IC to the notch on the silkscreen image.
Step 9: Place and solder the tilt sensor.
•No polarity

Step 10: Place and solder the buzzer.
•Pay attention to the polarity. The positive (+) lead is clearly marked on the bottom side of the buzzer.
Step 11: Place and solder the male headers (x2).
•No polarity
•Place header with longer pins facing upwards

Step 12: Place and solder the battery clips (x4)
•Please note the direction of the battery clips. Refer to the image below.
