1. Welcome to your new Otfrid Solar Street Light (20W –60W).
At Otfrid Solar we offer a large selection of Solar Street Lights, ranging from 20 to 60
watts of available power output. Our multiple installation feature enables users to
install our products with minimum effort. Each of our Solar Street Lights takes up to
10 minutes to be installed on any vertical fixture and ready to work.
Lighting your future. Our Solar Street Light can be used for any road, freeway, outdoor
parking, residential areas and other public spaces. It has never been easier to bring
renewable light to your life.

2. WARNING AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
Please carefully read the following directions before you use any Otfrid All-In-One
Solar Street Lights in order to avoid damage or malfunction.
•Expertise is NECESSARY for installment.
•Appropriate materials and equipment are necessary for installment.
•Do not drop this product or drop any item thereon.
•Do not immerse this product in water.
•Do not use any detergent which contains ammonia, benzene or abradant to
avoid any damage to the product.
•For long-term storage, batteries need to be recharged every 6 months to
maintain battery life.
•When installing, avoid shadows from trees, building etc., to prevent damage
to the solar panel.
•For high performance, regularly apply the neutral detergent with a damp cloth
and gently clean the surface of the solar panel.
•Please don't repair faults with parts from other suppliers as this can result in
damage to other components.

3. Operating and Storage Temperature.
•The discharge temperature ranges from -4℉to 140℉(-20℃~60℃).
•Recharge at a temperature between 32℉to 140℉(0℃~60℃).
•The controller will automatically stop charging in order to protect the battery if
the temperature drops below 32℉(0℃) or rises above 140℉(60℃).
•Please do not install the products in areas where the extreme temperature
conditions exceed its limits. · Store the products at a temperature between -4℉
to 113℉(-20℃~45℃).
•Lighting in cold areas; please contact Otfrid Solar for solution.
4. Modification.
This warranty does not cover damage from improper handling or care. Damage
caused by third parties or non-authorized (by Otfrid Solar) customer modifications
renders the warranty null and void.
5. User Manual.
Introduction.
The Solar Street Light series are extremely user friendly, incorporated with robust All-
In-One LED Nichia solar light chip. Their incorporated photo voltaic module, Lithium
battery, human infrared sensor and newly developed MPPT charging controller and
LED lamp to achieve numerous features such as high luminance, extensive lifespan,
minimal maintenance and easy-going installation. Otfrid Solar Street Light brings you
an easier way to control the outdoor lighting than ever before.
To avoid incorrect operation which may lead to a damaged unit; please read the
following instructions for every Otfrid Solar Light carefully before installation.
➢Otfrid Solar Street Light units do not work without sunlight. Please select the
appropriate model according to radiance or peak sun hours for the location of
the installation. In areas that are short of sunlight or experience a steady
duration of rain, Otfrid Solar Street Light units may only work for a short while

or may not turn on at all. For regions where this applies we recommend
customers reduce the power of lamp.
➢All Otfrid Solar Street Light units should be installed with the solar panels facing
the equator for optimum functioning and endurance. Make sure to install clear
of any trees and buildings to avoid shadows, or else the internal battery will not
charge properly, and the efficiency of the solar panel will be minimized,
influencing the working time of the unit and battery life.
➢By factory setting; Otfrid Solar Street Light units turn on at dusk and off at dawn
automatically (light photosensitivity is around 30lx). During the evening, Otfrid
Solar Street Light units work at dim mode when humans are not around and it
will increase light output immediately when a motion is detected.
➢All internal and external parts of Otfrid Solar Street Light are rated IP65 and are
waterproof. Holes and slits on the luminaires are designed for heat dissipation
and drainage. Metal parts are anodized rust-proof aluminum which can
withstand high temperatures and humidity, but we still recommend avoiding
areas which suffer from heavy acid mist or salt influx. The high strength
structure design can withstand wind speeds of up to 180km/h. NOTICE: Excess
of this speed may result in damage to the units.
Otfrid Solar Street Light series work at dim mode when humans are not around and it will increase light output
immediately when motion is detected. The SMART lighting will extend the productivity of the battery and the light.

7. Packaging.
Please open the package and corroborate that all parts were received prior to
installation.

8. Installation Guide.
Straight Type Installation:
1. Establish the poles position according to the max radiation and road condition,
confirm installation height and distance by referring to the Otfrid Solar Street
Specifications. Otfrid Solar advises to use steel poles with a diameter of
approximately between 60~90mm and its thickness more than 2mm.
2. Take out the main body and the bracket. Attach the bracket to the main body.
(Refer to figure 1).
3. Attach the bracket and the main body to the pole (Refer to figure 2).
4. Rotate your Otfrid Solar Street Light as is shown in figure 3.

9. Disposal.
At Otfrid Solar we care about the environment. Hence, our products are made of
recyclable high-performance materials and all components are ROHS (Restriction of
Hazardous Substances) compliant. Do not dispose the appliances with the normal
household waste at the end of their life, deliver them to an official collection point for
recycling. By doing this, YOU help our mission of helping our future generations to live
in a more sustainable world.
