Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of an Outlust Car
Roof So Tent. We strive to provide the ultimate
camping experience for every camper. Your high
quality durable roof top tent mounts directly to your
roof rack or aermarket roof bars. The tent opens and
is fully setup in just a few minutes and can easily be
le on your vehicle for longer periods.
Your roof top tent is made with the most durable
materials that will stand up to the most extreme
conditions. We use high quality rip- stop fabrics with
superior ventilate coating that provide excellent water
and wind protection yet are more breathable than
other tent brands on the market.
Most of your Tent components have been fully
assembled at the factory with the exception of
attaching the mounting channels and the ladder to
the base of the tent. Tent setup is composed of
unpacking, attaching mounting channels to the base
of the tent, attaching the ladder, attaching the tent
cover, and then mounting your Tent onto your roof
rack or aermarket roof bars.

Safety information
1. Read the manual before mounting the tent.
Save the manual.
2. Ensure your car is approved for roofload > 75Kg.
3. Roof rack/cross bar needs at least 5cm distance
to the car roof and their loading capacity must
be over 200kg.
4. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity
300Kg.
5. Before driving, check that the tent is properly
unfolded and the travel cover is attached and
secured.
6. Do not leave children without supervision in the
tent.
7. When camping, park the car on a level ground
safe from traffic and apply the parking brake.
8. Before entering the tent, ensure all steps on the
ladder are properly secured and the ladder is
standing stable on ground with 60⁰ angle.
9. Do not use any heaters or cooking equipment
inside the tent. This may cause hypoxia or fire.
10. Do not move the car with the tent folded.
11. Driving your car with the roof top tent mounted
may increase the energy consumption of the
car.

Important Warning Recycling

Mounting orientation
Sedans or smaller SUVs are better suited for the side
mounted option.
Advantages for rear mounted orientation:
1.Fits into narrow camping spaces.
Advantages for side mounted orientation:
1. Allows for bicycle racks and other tow hitch/bar
accessories to be installed without interfering with
your tent operation.
2.Closed tent width will fit inside the roof dimensions
of most cars and SUV's.
i.e. the tent base will not extend beyond the roof line
of your vehicle when closed.

Car requirements
• Car roof load > 75Kg.
• Space between car roof and roof rack/cross bar
minimum 5cm
• Loading capacity of roof rack/cross bar > 200kg.
• Maximum height of car 200cm. (If car is higher, a
ladder extension or a higher ladder must be
ordered).
Assembly of tent
1. Remove tent from box and place on clean surface.
2. Fold up the tent and remove the loose parts.
3. Fold the tent back with the side with four holes
facing upwards.
4. Using four supplied 6mm screws and 6mm washers,
slide your hand between base and mattress and
insert screws with washers into the pre-drilled holes.
You may need to poke holes through the tape to
insert screws.)
Place mounting channels on exposed sctews. For
side mounted orientation, ensure mounting
channels are perpendicular to hinge side. For rear
mounted orientation, ensure mounting channels
are parallel to hinge side. Slide the 10mm Nylock
nuts into the inner slot in the center of the
mounting channels until they are aligned with
screws sticking through the base. Tighten the
screws firmly from below using the supplied 10mm
wrench.

5. If the mounting channels extend beyond the
edges of the base, the excess must be sawn off with
a hacksaw.
6. Flip the tent base over. Locate the pre-drilled
holes at the edge of the base and attach the ladder
brackets to the base using M6 screws, washers, and
M6 nylock nuts.

Mounting of tent onto roof rack bars
Place M8 screws into the slide plates. Slide the plates
and screws into the mounting channel.
Li each tent side to have one of the M8 screws on the
inside of the roof rack bar.
Center the tent on the roof rack and ensure it opens
to the desired side.

Tighten all eight M8 nylock nuts securely.
Put the four end covers over the ends of the mounting
channels.

Cover attachment
To attach the travel cover, slide the rounded fabric end
of the cover into the rounded receiver channel at the
hinge side of the tent base.

is oriented so the
exterior side of the
cover faces up when
the cover is pulled
over the tent.

Two additional straps are provided to help secure the
travel cover to the tent.

Slide the ladder out starting at the base of the ladder
until the locking pins in each section engage.

Ensure all the steps on
the telescoping ladder
are locked. If the height
of the ladder needs to
be adjusted, start with
the top section. Release
the locking levers.
Slide the ladder up so the top most section recedes
fully into the section below it. Repeat this step for
each section you wish to shorten. Be sure to maintain
a 60° angle between the ground and the ladder at all
times and check that the remaining sections are fully
locked.
The tail of the tent is supported by a U-shaped
aluminum tube and there are two windproof ropes
that are tightened and fixed to the ground with
ground nails.

grommet at the bottom
of the tent bottom skirt
and insert it into the hole , which may require you to
slightly bend the steel tie rods to fit into the holes in
the base plate. Repeat this process for other awning
installations.

First close all the windows of the tent, and connect the
four elastic ropes in the tent on both sides, which can
shrink the tent when folded.

Remove the U-shaped support aluminum tube at the
entrance of the tent and put it into the designated
position of the tent.

then tidy up and fasten
the magic webbing
around the tent .
Cover the PVC waterproof sleeve and tie the
webbing to complete the closure.

Storage and handling
Every time that you come back from camping you
should clean and dry your tent. Also, wash the
mattress and cover once in a while (only hang dry).
The following are the procedures:
1. Open the tent fully and brush/vacuum all dirt from
inside of tent.
2. Use a mild detergent with warm water and a so to
medium brush to clean the fabric as needed.
3. Rinse fabric of all detergent prior to drying.
4. Let it dry under the sun with all windows open. It is
important that the tent is completely dry before
storage or mildew and mold may occur. This is
especially necessary aer camping in rain or wet
conditions.
5. Using a small brush, remove dirt from the zippers.
Also, use a silicon spray to keep them lubricated.
When it is time to discard the product, ensure
the different parts will be recycled according to
local regulations.

Introduktion
Vi gratulerar till ditt köp av Outlust Car Roof So Tent.
Vi strävar alltid eer att erbjuda de bästa camping-
upplevelserna för varje campare. Detta högkvalitativa
och slitstarka biltakstält monteras direkt på bilens
original- eller eermarknadslastbågar. Tältet reses och
är fullt användbart på bara några minuter och kan
med fördel behållas på biltaket för längre perioder.
Detta biltakstält är tillverkat av de mest slitstarka
material som kan motstå de tuffaste förhållanden. Vi
använder rivsäkra högkvalitetstyger med överlägsna
andningsegenskaper som erbjuder ett utmärkt vind-
och fuktskydd men är ändå mer ventilerande än
många andra tältmärken på marknaden.
Tältet är i stort sett färdigmonterat i vår fabrik. Det
enda som behöver göras är att fästa de två
monteringsprofilerna och stegen i tältbotten.
Tältmonteringen består av uppacking, montering av
monteringsprofilerna i tältbotten, infästning av
stegen, montering av tältöverdraget och slutligen
infästning av tältet på lastbågarna på biltaket.

Säkerhetsinformation
1. Gå igenom manualen innan monteringen av
tältet. Spara manualen.
2. Kontrollera att bilen har en tillåten taklast på
> 75Kg.
3. Utrymmet mellan takräcke/lastbågar och
biltaket måste vara minst 5cm och deras max
lastkapacitet måste vara över 200kg.
4. Överskrid inte maxbelastningen 300Kg.
5. Innan bilen körs iväg, kontrollera att tältet är
ordentigt ihopfällt och att PVC-överdraget är
rätt monterat och alla banden fästade.
6. Lämna inte barn i tältet utan uppsikt av en
vuxen.
7. Vid camping, parkera bilen på plan mark säker
från trafik och aktivera parkeringsbromsen.
8. Innan uppklättring i tältet, se till att alla steg på
stegen är ordentligt fixerade och att stegen står
stadigt mot marken i 60-graders vinkel.
9. Använd inga värmare eller campingkök inne i
tältet. Detta kan orsaka syrebrist eller brand.
10. Flytta inte bilen med tältet upprest.
11. Att köra bilen med taktältet påmonterat kan
orsaka ökad bränsle/energiförbrukning på
grund av ökad vikt och ökat lumotstånd.

Viktigt Varning Återvinning

Monteringsriktning
För sedan-modeller och mindre SUVar passar det oa
bättre med montering tvärs bilen.
Fördelar med montering längsmed bilen:
1.Tar mindre utrymme på trånga campingplatser.
Fördelar med montering tvärs bilen:
1. Medger plats för cykelställ och andra
dragkroksmonterade bagagehållare eller tillbehör.
2. Nedfällt tält hamnar inom ramen för takmåtten på
de flesta bilar och SUVar.
Dvs. tältet sticker inte ut utanför bilens taklinje.

Krav på bilen
• Tillåten taklast > 75Kg.
• Utrymme mellan biltaket och
takräcket/lastbågarna minimum 5cm
• Takräckets/lastbågarnas lastkapacitet > 200kg.
• Bilens maxhöjd 200cm. (Om bilen är högre,
måste stegfölängare eller en längre stege
beställas).
Montering på biltaket
1. Ly ut tältet från kartongen och placera det på en
ren yta.
2. Vik ut tältet och ta ut alla lösa delar.
3. Vik ihop tältet igen med sidan med de fyra hålen
uppåt.
4. Trä på 6mm brickor på fyra M6 skruvar. För in dem
med handen mellan tältbotten och madrassen och
placera dem i de förborrade hålen. (Ibland måste
skruvarna tryckas genom den yttre filmen.)
Placera monteringsskenorna på de utstickande M6-
skruvarna. För montering tvärs bilen, se till att
monteringsskenorna är vinkelräta mot
gånjärnssidan. För montering längsmed bilen, se till
att monteringsskenorna är parallella med
gånjärnssidan. Peta in 10mm Nylock-muttrarna i
den inre kanalen i mitten av monteringsskenorna
tills de är i linje med de utstickande M6-skruvarna.
Dra åt skruvarna ordentligt men den medföljande
10mm fasta nyckeln.

5. Om monteringsskenorna sticker ut utanför
tältgolvets sidor, måste de överskjutande delarna
sågas av med bågfil.
6. Vänd på det ihopvikta tältet så att de fyra
förborrade hålen för stegfästena i ena kanten
kommer uppåt. Trä in de fyra M6-skruvarna
underifrån och montera de två fästena för stegen

Montering av tältet på lastbågarna
Sätt i M8 skruvar i hålen i glidplattorna. Trä in glidplatt-
orna med skruvarna i kanalen på monteringsskenan.
Lyft varje hörn av tältbotten så att den ena M8-skruven
i glidplattan hamnar på andra sidan av lastbågen.
Centera tältet på lastbågarna och kontrollera att det
fälls upp i önskad riktning.

Dra åt alla åtta M8 nylock-muttrarna ordentligt.
Tryck i de fyra täcklocken i ändarna på
monteringsskenorna.

Montering av PVC-överdrag
Börja med att trä in sidan med det insydda repet i den
runda kanalen i aluminiumlisten på gånjärnssidan av
tältet. Kontrollera att överdragets utsida hamnar uppåt
när det dras över
tältet. Fäst
överdraget på de tre
övriga sidorna med
dragkedjorna.
Säkra slutligen överdraget med de två medföljande
stropparna.
Resning av tältet
Lossa de två stropparna i
PVC-överdraget.
Ta bort överdraget genom
att lossa de tre
dragkedjorna på tältets
tre sidor och vik undan
överdraget.
Lossa sedan på stropparna
som håller ihop tältet.
Dra ut stegen med början i foten tills låsmekanismen
i varje steg klickar i.
Använd sedan
stegen som hävstång
för att resa tältet.

och stegen stå stadigt
