1. Allow body to fill your palm
2. Rotate adjustable hook
to rest comfortably on
your forefinger
To Install a Tip
1. Insert nozzle into tip
2. Lightly press down until
a “click” is heard

To Aspirate & Dispense
1. For one stroke pipettes, fully depress plunger to
the bottom and for two stroke pipettes, depress
plunger to the 1st stop.
2. Place tip in sample and release plunger
3. Wait one second, then remove tip from sample
4. For one stroke pipettes, fully depress plunger to
the bottom. For two stroke pipettes, depress
plunger to 1st stop, wait one second and then
fully depress plunger.
To Eject a Tip
1. Point nozzle down
2. Press Tip Flicker

Replacing t e Nozzle
The replaceable nozzle contains a barrier to
prevent liquid from being aspirated into the
pipette. If this filter becomes wet, the pipette will
not aspirate fluid until a new nozzle is installed.

Calibrating t e Pipette
The Ovation pipette can be easily in-lab
calibrated. Turn Calibration Set Screw clockwise
with the Allen wrench to increase volume
delivery and counterclockwise to decrease. See
