Whenusingthisdeepfryer,basicsafetyprecautionsshouldalwaysbefollowed,includingthefollowing
：
Read all instructions carefully before using the deep fryer.
Before connecting the appliance,check if the voltage indicated
on the bottom of the appliance in accordance with the power
outlet voltage in your home.
This appliance must be earthed/grounded.
To protect against electrical shock,do not put the deep fryer,
cord or electrical plug in water or other liquids.If deep fryer falls
into liquid,immediately unplug it.
Before first use,please check carefully if all the parts of the
appliance are in good condition.Never use this appliance if it is
not in good condition.
Make sure that the temperature controller is on the position
“OFF”before plugging.After plugging into the power socket,the
indicator light will turn on,showing the appliance is powered.
When only the indicator light comes on,the appliance is not
heated.If the temperature selected exceeds rated temperature
after use,the indicator light still ON and at this time,the
appliance maybe very hot.
Do not heat without food inside.
Do not open the lid when frying.
The surface is hot when frying.Never touch the fryer before it’s
cooled to avoid scald.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions,or is dropped or damaged in
any manner.
Do not allow children to use the deep fryer without any
supervision.
This appliance is not intended for persons (including children)
with reduced physical,sensory or mental capabilities,or lack of
experience and knowledge,unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
Cooking appliance should be position in a stable situation with
the handles (if any)positioned to avoid spillage of hot liquids.
Do not operate by means of an external timer or a separate
remote-control system.
Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.To
disconnect,turn OFF and allow it to cool before cleaning the
appliance.

The use of accessories or attachments not recommended by
Ovente may cause hazards.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter,or touch hot
surfaces.
A fire may occur if surface is covered or touching flammable
material such as curtains,draperies,walls and the like when in
operation.
Do not use your deep fryer for other than its intended use.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner,or in a
heated oven.
Use on a flat and stable,heat resistant work surface,away from
any water splashes or any sources of heat.
To unplug,grasp plug and pull from electrical outlet.Never pull
cord.
Make sure the appliance is off,the motor has stopped complete�
ly and the appliance is unplugged from outlet before putting on
or taking off attachments,and before cleaning.

USING YOUR DEEP FRYER
PREHEATING THE DEEP FRYER
Open the top lid.
Lift the basket using the handle.
Place approximately 0.75 liters of oil or 0.6 kg of hard fat into the
fryer body.
NOTE:The level must always be between the two marks on the
oil container wall).
If you use blocks of fat,cut them into pieces before placing them
in the body.
Close the lid.
See assembly instructions regarding power cord.Always attach
cord to fryer before plugging into standard electrical outlet.
Plug in the fryer to the power outlet.
Set switch of the temperature knob to 284°F (the red Indicator
light will turn on). To melt the fat needs roughly 8minutes.
Never attempt to melt fat in the basket.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging materials from your deep fryer.
Before using for the first time,remove any dust from shipping by
wiping the base,bowl,lid,and basket with a moist cloth.Never
immerse the appliance in water;water must not be allowed to
penetrate the interior of the appliance.
ASSEMBLY
Place base on a clean,flat surface where you intend to cook.
To properly attach the handle to the
basket,squeeze together both ends of
the handle and insert both ends into the
bracket holes (Figure 1). Keeping ends in
bracket holes,gently release grip.Firmly
pull back handle to snap into position
(Figure 2).
Make sure unit is turned to MIN at thermostat
dial.
Connect the magnetic power cord to the unit
to the unit (Figure 3).

counterclockwise to “OFF”; the indicator light goes out.
Unplug the fryer from the power outlet.
Open the lid.
If the handle is detached,attach the handle to the basket
(Refer to assembly instructions), raise the basket and
drain the oil.

OPERATING THE DEEP FRYER
Turn the temperature knob clockwise to your desired
temperature setting.The indicator light will turn ON.
When the indicator light turns off (after approx.5-7
minutes)the fryer has reached the corresponding
temperature.
Open the top lid.
Attach the handle into basket (Refer to assembly
instructions).
Put the food in the basket.
Lower the basket into the oil slowly;watching the oil level
and foam in order to keep them from reaching the fringe
of the oil container confirming the oil level is appropriate.

USING YOUR DEEP FRYER

Unplug the appliance when cleaning.
Clean the outside of the fryer and the lid with a damp
cloth.
Never use abrasive pads or alcohol.
Detach the handle from the basket.
Wash the basket with hot water or washing-up liquid.
Rinse and dry carefully.
Never immerse the appliance in water or wash it directly
by water.
