2 - OVERVIEW
The ACCESS POINT is a radio antenna ensuring the communication between the
BELTPACK and the TX-BOX. The supplied antenna is manufactured by MicroTik and
distributed by its partners.
Overline Systems has applied a specic conguration to the antenna in order to optimize
its exclusive use within the Digitear.

5 - ACCESS POINT INSTALLATION
5 - 1 Direct Installation to the TX-BOX :
Enables the installation of a single antenna with a
maximum cable length of 10 m.
5 - 2 Installation with the supplied adapter:
Each antenna is powered by a local injector. The
maximum distance from the injector to the antenna is
approx. 25 meters.
An Ethernet switch can be used to connect multiple
antennas to a TX-BOX, where each antenna is
powered individually.
5 - 3 Installation with PoE switch:
The antennas which are connected to the switch,
are powered directly by the switch.
Recommended accessories:
- Switch MIKROTIK RB960PGS hEX PoE.
- Mikrotik RBGPOE-CON-HP PoE adapter in order to ensure compatibility with each
switch PoE 8 ports IEEE 802.3af/at.

Technical notes
For maximum coverage the antenna is to be installed as high as possible and the front
panel orientated towards the area of use.
The "RESET" button shall not be used because it reprograms the antenna with the
manufacturer's default settings. The provided Overline Systems antenna was congurated
for utilization of the Digitear network.
The antenna conguration is compatible with the majority of network installations. A
particular conguration can be realized upon request. Please contact our Overline
Systems Support if needed.
Several ACCESS POINT can be installed via a PoE switch, to increse the radio coverage
area.

7 - TECHNICAL TROUBLESHOOTING
- The BELTPACK does not connect:
* Try again by placing the BELTPACK near the ACCESS POINT.
* Try again with another BELTPACK.
* Check connection between the ACCESS POINT and the TX-BOX.through the RJ45
cable.
* Open the ACCESS POINT cover for visual inspection
>- Check the presence of the Power LED. If the Power LED is not present, then
contact the support.
>- Check the presence of the Radio LED. If the Power LED is not present, then
contact the support.

8 - WARRANTY
Elements NOT covered by the guarantee.
This warranty covers only defects in parts and manufacturing of the product. This warranty
does not cover:
- Periodic maintenance and repair or replacement of parts as a result of normal wear and
tear.
- Transportation costs and the risks associated with the sending and retrieval of the
product by the nal customer
- Any adaptation of the product which would be necessary for the purpose of complying
with the technical or safety standards applicable in a country other than that for which
the product was originally designed and manufactured;
- Consumable elements (elements which are intended to be replaced periodically during
the life of the product, for example ear tips, batteries-beyond 12 months to date of
purchase-, connecting cables, etc.);
- Damage or defects in the product resulting from:
- Improper use or installation of the product (use or installation not in accordance with
the use to which the product is intended, installation or use not in accordance with the
Digitear instructions or the technical or safety standards in force in the country where it is
used, etc.)
- Maintenance of the product not in accordance with the Digitear instructions or
negligence in the maintenance of the product.
- Improper handling or mistreatment of the product (false maneuvers, fall, shock,
immersion, etc.) or an improper environment (poor ventilation, vibration, exposure to
moisture, excessive heat, contact with sand or any Other substance, improper power
supply, etc.)
- The use of the product with a product (hardware or software), consumable, accessory
or peripheral not compatible or defective, an adaptation of the product for the purpose
of complying with the technical or safety standards applicable in a country other than
that for which the product was originally designed and manufactured;
- A modication or repair of the product not carried out by a service provider approved
by Overline Systems
- Cases of force majeure, sinister (re, ood, etc.), lightning, etc.

Warranty Period:
24 months parts and labor in workshop
Battery: 12 months (starting from the date of purchase)
ACCESS POINT: Covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.
No sole accessory will be accepted or repaired by our repair centers.

Operations in the 5,15-5,25GHz band are restricted to indoor usage only.
Any changes or modications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment.
