Salt/Seed Spreader

•Do not fill above the specified maximum line.
•Before using the product, make sure that all fastenings are tightly in place and that
everything is in order. Check periodically.
•This spreader s not a toy, and is only to be used for its designated purpose.
•Leaving the product outside exposed to weather, especially direct sun, rain and salt
air, will speed the weathering process. This can be slowed by removing the product
from these conditions, or covering it with a suitable cover.
•Keep fingers, hair and loose clothing free from the adapter at all times
•Do not use when you are tied or distracted from the job at hand.
•Do not use during strong winds as this may affect the spreading pattern.
•Never leave contents in the spreader. After each use, wash thoroughly to remove all
contents. Hot water may be required at times to remove stubborn residue. It is
important to allow the spreader to dry thoroughly.
•Ensure that the material is dry and free-running. If in doubt pass it through a sieve
with 3mm mesh to remove lumps.
•Store the spreader in a clean, dry space.

Operating Instructions
1. Attach handle –Screw the bolt tightly to fix to the frame.
2. Handle –Pushed and moves the spreader easily.
3. Flow Control –Controls the flow of material being spread. Open the adapter and the contents will
spread out.
4. Hopper –Do not exceed the maximum capacity line. Load the hopper with either salt, seed, or
fertiliser.
5. R-Shaped Pin –Used to mix the contents when the spreader is moving.
6. Impeller –Evenly distributes material.
7. Wheel –Plastic wheels assure accuracy and guarantee stability.
Always PUSH the spreader when applying contents. When pulled backwards while open, the spreader may
apply excess amounts of contents.
