2. Introduction
The Cam Stick is a super compact video/audio camcorder, smaller and lighter than a disposable cigarette
lighter yet packed with high quality features. Cam Stick records Hi-Resolution real time (25fps) video via its
internal pin hole camera at the touch of a button. Recordings are stored in its 4gb external memory giving
up to 3 hours of recording space. The internal rechargeable battery is recharged via USB connection.
Records for up to 1 hour on a single charge.
3. Operating
Ensure you charge the device for at least 4 –5 Hours the first time !!!
a. Parts Description:
A.1 Indicator: Red light (3) is the power indicator. It is Lit when the power is on. Blue light (2) is
the shooting mode indicator; Yellow light (4) is the Sound recording mode indicator.
A.2 Switch Description: Power switch (5) is marked with "ON" and "OFF" on the side Mode
switch (10) is marked “AUDIO "and" VIDEO” to change between the “video recording” and “Sound
recording” functions.
A.3 Button (1): Press this button to turn on and turn off your camera,and to start and stop video
recording, taking photo, and sound recording.

A.4 Socket: TF card slot (6) is used to insert the Micro SD (TF) card; Mini USB socket (7) is used
to connect to a computer or charger. It is the interface for data transfer and charging.
A.5 Microphone and camera: Microphone (9) is used to get the sound signal; Camera (8) is
used to get the image signal.
b. ON/OFF: Set the power switch to "ON" and press the button for 1 second to turn on the device. The
device enters into the video recording mode or the sound recording mode. Then the red light is on.
The mode indicator is also on. In any status, press the button for 4 seconds, then release the button,
all lights will be out. The video recorder will automatically save the current file and shutdown. In any
status, if you set the power switch to "OFF" it will immediately stop working. The video files will not
be saved.
c. Mode change: in the boot state, through the mode switch and a combination of button operation,
the product can enter a different functionality mode. The specific methods of functional switch are
as follows:
3.1 Camera features: The Camera has a standby mode which is the Yellow Light indicator. To
access this function, you should switch the switch mode button to the "Video" position, then the
Status Indicator should be a long yellow light. You can take pictures at any time when the
camera enters the standby mode. If the mode switch is in the "Video "position, the status
indicator light will flash blue, this means that the camera is in the shooting mode,you need to
press button for 2 seconds longer, to exit the camera function.
Take photo: To take a photo enter standby mode (yellow light) press the centre button once
(button 1) this will take a snapshot and then save it .make sure there is adequate light and the
camera is stable when taking snap shots.
Record video: To begin recording video enter standby mode slide the switch (button 10) to video
wait 2 seconds then press (button1) the blue indicator light will start to flash and your device will
begin recording. press the (button 1 ) to end and save the video.
Note: In order to ensure good sound quality, do not block the microphone hole.

Removable Disk: Once you are ready to download your pcitures videos and audio recordings to your
pc , insert the usb cable into the bottm usb port (button 7 ) the other end of the cable goes to your PC usb
port.
Once the PC has detected the device it will ask you how you would like to view the files on device ,select
view in files and folders. you will now be able to navigate through your device and copy and paste the files
to your PC or a USB datastick.
I. Charge: Connect to computer USB interface or charger. During the charging, the blue light flashes
slowly. When the battery is fully recharged, the blue light stops flashing.
J. Setup timeTo set the date and time for your device create a notepad file and name it
"time"
In this notepad file you will need to write the date as shown below
"2012.04.05 12.01.01 Y"
Copy and paste this into the Root folder of your device and then restart it.

5. Warning:
Application: Please strictly abide to relevant regulations and laws. This product should not be used for
any illegal purposes. The user is fully responsible for its use.
Battery: If you do not use this recording function after a period of time, please ensure you charge it fully
before using. Battery is recommended to be charged for the full minimum of 4hrs before initial use.
File security: This product is not a professional storage device. It does not guarantee the integrity and
security of saved files. Please back up your important documents on the computer or other storage device
timely.
Video quality: This product is not a professional video recording device. It Does not guarantee the
effect of the video file to have the professional quality
Operating temperature: 0—40°C. For the extension of life, it is best used at room temperature.
Operating humidity: 20% -80%. This product does not have the waterproof function. So it cannot work
under the humid environment.
Shooting brightness: Do not expose the camera directly to strong light, such as the sun light, as to
avoid damage to optical devices.
Cleaning: Do not use it under an environment where dust is of a high density as to avoid the
contamination of camera lens or other components.
