BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Unroll the mat on a flat surface.
2. Fully open the valve (as pictured) and allow the mat to
self-inflate for up to 30 mins.
3. Turn the valve to inflate mode (as pictured) and inflate to
maximum capacity by blowing air into the mat by mouth.
4. Once the mat is fully inflated, secure the valve cap and store
overnight.
NOTE: Inflation speed will continue to improve with use as the
foam will regain its expanded state "memory".
NORMAL USE
To Inflate
1. Unroll the mat on a flat surface.
2. Fully open the valve (as pictured) for maximum airflow. The
internal foam will expand, allowing the mat to self-inflate.
3. When the mat is fully inflated, turn the valve to inflate mode (as
pictured). To obtain extra firmness, blow air into the valve by
mouth until the mat has reached your desired firmness.
4. Secure the outer valve cap.
To Deflate
1. Open the valve cap and rotate the valve to deflate mode (as
pictured).
2. Fold the mat in half, and then in half again, and apply your body
weight to expel as much air as possible.
3. Fold the mat lengthwise to match the width of the carry bag
and then roll the mat towards the open valve.
This will force any remaining air out the valve.
4. Close the outer cap, secure the rolled mat with the included
compression straps and insert into the carry bag.
NOTE: You may need to roll the mat several times to get all the air
out. To prevent the mat from self-inflating, make sure the valve is
turned to deflate mode.
The first time you use a new Fatmat, it will take longer than normal to inflate. This is because the mat has been
stored in a compressed state for an extended period of time. We recommend taking the following steps before use:

CARING FOR YOUR MAT
• For best performance, store the mat flat with the valve open. This will maintain the foam's fully expanded
potential. This will also allow any moisture trapped in the interior to escape. If your mat must be stored in a rolled
state, inflate the mat as frequently as is reasonable to prevent the foam from developing a compressed state
"memory".
• If your mat is accidentally punctured, repair with the included adhesive or use a high-quality, flexible, urethane
adhesive.
• To avoid mildew, never store your mat in a damp or wet environment. Be sure your mat is completely dry before
storing.
• To clean your mat, use mild soap and warm water. Be sure to close the valve when cleaning to avoid getting any
water into the mat. Let the mat air dry. Never place your mat in a washing machine or dryer.
• Keep your mat away from any open flames, sparks, embers, hot camp stoves, lanterns or other high heat
sources.
• Avoid using your mat on sharp or abrasive surfaces.
• Do not use an air pump to over-inflate the mat as it may cause irreparable damage.
REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
1. Clean the surface around the puncture area
2. Select the correct PVC patch required for repair
3. Cut the patch to size, to cover approximately 1.5cm around all edges of the puncture
4. Spread adhesive (not included) around the puncture on the mattress
5. Attach the patch and press firmly
6. After 2 hours, inflate the mattress and check the repair site
WARNING!
• Adult supervision is required for inflation and deflation of this air mattress.
• When inflating air mattress, take care not to over inflate. Allow for temperature increases that may increase the
pressure of the air mattress.
• Only use a recommended hand or foot pump or electric air mattress pump.
Do not use air compressor pump or hair dryer
• Take care to remove any sharp objects in the are that may damage the air mattress.
• This product is not suitable for children under 4 years of age and people with limited mobility. The risk
of suffocation increases on beds including air mattresses for young children and people with limited mobility.
• Keep away form open flames, heaters and other hot objects. Do not smoke on or near the air mattress.
• Do no use this air mattress in water, it is not a water toy, it should not be used as a floatation or life saving device.
• Do not stand, walk, jump or play on the air mattress.
