Mit dem Niederfrequenz Muskel- und Nervenstimulator von Panasonic, können Sie Schulter- und
Nackenschmerzen, Verspannungs-Kopfschmerzen, Zerrungen, Prellungen und Muskelkater etc. selbst
behandeln. Im Bereich der Muskulatur wird neben einer sanften Schmerzlinderung eine nachhaltige
Muskellockerung erreicht.
Der Niederfrequenz Muskel- und Nervenstimulator von Panasonic wirkt mit sanften Reizen, die „elektronisch
gesteuerte Pflaster“ auf die schmerzenden verspannten Körperpartien übertragen. Diese Therapiereize
dringen tief in das Gewebe ein und erzeugen dort eine nachhaltige Muskellockerung, verbessern die
Durchblutung und bewirken deshalb in der Regel auch eine deutliche Schmerzlin-derung.
Einfach die Panasonic Pflaster auf die Körperpartien kleben, die Sie behandeln möchten. Die Pflaster liegen
flach auf der Haut und beeinträchtigen nicht. Die Steuerung der Panasonic Therapiereize erfolgt ganz einfach
mittels Handbedienung.

Das Modell EW6011 ist für die Verwendung unter den elektromagnetischen Bedingungen, mit Abschirmung gegen HF-Störu-
ngen vorgesehen. Der Kunde oder der Benutzer des EW6011 kann elektromagnetische Störungen verhindern, wenn zwischen
tragbaren und mobilen HF-Kommunikationsgeräten (Sender) und dem EW6011 der empfohlene Minimalabstand eingehalten
wird, der von der maximalen Ausgangsleistung des Kommunikationsgeräts abhängig ist, wie nachstehend aufgeführt.
Für Sender, dessen maximale Leistung in der vorstehenden Tabelle nicht aufgeführt ist, kann der empfohlene Abstand

Metern (m) mit der Gleichung für die Senderfrequenz berechnet werden, dabei ist P die maximale Ausgangsleistung des

Panasonic low-frequency muscle and nerve stimulator is a muscle and nerve stimulator which
allows you to treat shoulder and neck pain, strains, bruises, sore muscles, etc. yourself. The effects
on the muscles include thorough relaxation and gentle pain relief.
Panasonic low-frequency muscle and nerve stimulator is based on gentle stimulation transferred to
the hurting and tense body parts by way of “electronically controlled pads”. This therapeutic
stimulation penetrates deep into the tissue where it relaxes the muscles thoroughly and improves
blood circulation, thereby usually also providing noticeable pain relief.
Simply place the Panasonic pads on the parts of your body that you wish to treat.The pads are flat
and convenient. A hand-held unit facilitates convenient control of the therapeutic stimulation.

• Do not excessively bend or pull the cord.
• Do not hold the main unit by the cord or twirl the main unit.
• Do not pull the cord from the cord opening at an angle, sideways, or from behind.
- Doing so may result in cord damage or malfunction.
• Do not hold only one pad attached with a cord or conductive pad plug and pull on the cord.
- Doing so may result in entangling the cord and prevent it from being pulled out.
Note: Extend the cord by pulling on both pads.
Handling the cord
PREPARING THE CORD AND PADS
1Check that the power/strength dial is set to “O”.
2Check that the cord and pads are connected and
attached to the pad storage plate.
When used for the first time
• Take out the pads from the clear bag.
• Peel off the clear film from the pads.
(The peeled off film is made of PET plastic and can be
discarded.)
• Attach the pads to the pad storage plate. (Fig. a)
• Firmly connect the conductive pad plugs to the pads. (Fig. b)
• Although the conductive pad plugs are color coded with red
and white, either plug may be connected to either pad.
3Extend the cord.
• Hold the main unit and the pad storage plate that has been
attached with the pad and extend the cord straight down.
• Do not extend the cord beyond the red line of the cord end line.
• The length of the cord can be adjusted as desired.

• When non-alkaline batteries are used, the battery life may shorten noticeably.
• When replacing the batteries, be sure to replace both batteries with two fresh batteries of the
same type.
• Battery life may shorten if the room temperature is low.
• Discard used batteries properly.
Handling the batteries
When the treatment stimulus feels weak or when the output stops before 15 minutes of use, the
batteries may have become exhausted. Replace them with fresh batteries.
When to replace the batteries
CAUTION!
• Be sure to observe the precautions shown on the batteries.
• Check for correct polarity of the batteries before loading.
• Promptly remove exhausted batteries.
• Remove the batteries if the device is not to be used for a prolonged period of time.
• Use the batteries before their recommended expiration date.
- Failure to do so may cause injury due to battery heat generation, bursting, or leakage, or
cause staining of the surroundings.
LOADING THE BATTERIES
We recommend the use of Panasonic alkaline batteries. (2 LR03/AAA batteries)
Manganese batteries or nickel hydroxide batteries can be used.
1Check that the power/strength dial is set to “O”.
• Lamp turns off.
2Detach the battery cover on the rear of the
main unit.
• Detach the battery cover in the direction of the arrow
while gently pressing the mark.
3Load the batteries while checking their
polarities.
• Do not let dust or other foreign matter get inside the
battery compartment, otherwise it may cause a
malfunction.
4Attach the battery cover on the rear of the
main unit.
Battery life
Approximately 90 operations are possible when using Panasonic alkaline batteries (2 LR03/AAA
batteries). (Approximately 3 months when used for 15 minutes once a day at a strength setting of
10 and a room temperature of 23°C.)

ATTACHING THE PADS TO THE AREA TO BE TREATED
Wipe the skin to clean off perspiration, moisture and dirt.
Hold the pad grip and peel off the pad from the pad storage plate
and attach the pads, one at a time, to the area to be treated.
Attach the pads securely to the skin.
(If a pad falls off the skin for approximately 30 seconds during operation,
the power automatically turns off.)
• The intensity of the stimulus between the pads may differ depending on
location.
If the stimulus is weak, move the position of the pads.

1Without pulling on the cord, attach both pads to the pad storage plate.
2With the cord take-up switch slid in the direction of
the arrow, hold the pad storage plate that has been
attached with both pads and pull gently.
Note: If the cord takes on a bend or is twisted, the cord may become difficult to take up. In this case,
gently sandwich the cord in a cloth and pull the cord to straighten as if cleaning it.

in operation.
• Do not use the product where there is high humidity, such as in a bathroom.
- Doing so will result in a strong electric shock.
• During operation, keep the pads away from metallic objects, such as belt buckles or
necklaces.
- Doing so may result in a strong electric shock or burns.
• Do not allow children or persons who are unable to express themselves to use the device.
• Also do not allow persons who are unable to operate the device by themselves to use the
device.
- Doing so may result in an accident or injury.

• Attach the pads to the skin so they do not overlap.
• Do not bend the pads.
• Try to avoid touching the adhesive surface with your fingers.
• If the pads lose their adhesive strength, clean them. (See page GB15.)
• Do not use the pads when they are wet.
Shake off any water and air-dry the adhesive surfaces before using the pads.
Handling the pads

• Never use the product in combination with the following medical devices:
(1) Implanted electronic medical device, such as a pacemaker
(2) Life support medical device, such as a heart-lung machine
(3) Attached medical device, such as an electrocardiograph
- Doing so may cause an accident or noticeable bodily impairment.
WARNING!
• The following persons should consult with a physician before using this product and when
undergoing treatment:
(1) Those with an acute illness
(2) Those with malignant tumors
(3) Those with an infectious disease
(4) Those who are pregnant, menstruating, or who have recently given birth
(5) Those with heart problems
(6) Those having a body temperature (fever) of 38°C or higher
(Example: when feeling weak or having severe symptoms of acute inflammation, such as
malaise, chills, or fluctuating blood pressure)
(7) Those who are anemic
(8) Those with an abnormal skin condition (infectious disease or injury)
(9) Those suffering from abnormally high blood pressure (180 mmHgor higher)
(10) Those requiring rest or in physically poor shape
(11) Those with acute pain, such as backbone fracture, sprain, torn muscle, etc.
(12) Those with sensory loss caused by advanced peripheral circulatory disorders, such as
due to diabetes
(13) Besides the above, those feeling physical discomfort
- Failure to do so may result in an accident or health problems.
• Be sure to turn off the power before attaching, reattaching or detaching the pads.
- Failure to do so may result in a strong electric shock or burn.
• Do not wrap the cord while the pads are attached to your skin.
• Wrap the cord after attaching the pads to the pad storage plate.
- Failure to do so may result in injury.
• Do not use the device on areas close to the heart, on the face or head, in the mouth, genitals,
or where there is a skin disease.
- Doing so may cause an accident or health problems.
• Do not use the device while you are asleep.
- Doing so may cause an accident or injury, such as with the cord becoming entangled around
your neck. Furthermore, the pads may attach to another part of the body (near the heart, on
the face or head, in the mouth, genitals, or where there is a skin condition) and cause an
accident or health problems.

• A click is heard and the power turns off.
• The power will automatically turn off approximately 15
minutes after the start of the treatment.
Even if the power automatically turns off, turn the
power/strength dial to “O”.
5Remove the pads from the skin.
Hold the pads by the grip and remove.
• Remove the pads slowly from the skin.
Removing the pads quickly may cause a skin inflammation
or body hair to be pulled out.
6Store the pads. (See page GB14.)
• Attach the pads to the pad storage plate.
If the pads become dirty, they may fall off easily during
treatment.

1Turn on the power.
Turn the power/strength dial.
• A click is heard, the power turns on, and the neck program
“ ” begins.
Soft start function
• This function gently starts with a weak stimulus to
prevent the sudden application of strong stimulus.
• When the power is turned on, the lamp for the neck program
flashes and the lamp for the “Local” stimulus mode turns on.
• Start at a low setting between “O” and “2” for around 3
minutes to allow your body to adjust to the sensation, then
increase the strength to the desired level.
(Persons who have sensitive skin should shorten the time
and start from a low setting.)
• The power will automatically turn off approximately 15
minutes after it is turned on.
(The power will automatically turn off approximately 15
minutes after it is turned on even if the position or
operation is changed.)
• If the power is turned on without attaching the pads, the
power will automatically turn off after approximately 30
seconds.

3Adjust the strength of the stimulus.
(1) Turn the power/strength dial.
(2) Select a desired strength between “I” and “10”.
• Indiscriminately setting the strength to high may not necessarily
increase the beneficial effect of stimulation. Doing so may
excessively stimulate the skin and cause tingling and redness.

rubbing “ ”.
• The stimulus mode does not change for the tapping treatment.

adjust the strength as desired.

(Neck): Mainly rubs to gently loosen the neck.
(Shoulder): Firmly taps to loosen the shoulders.
(Joint): Relieves joint pain with fine vibrations.

(Arm/Leg): Taps and grasps to loosen muscles.
(Sole): Mainly taps to massage away sole fatigue.
• If the attached position of the pads and the selected program are different, the program
may not be suitable for the position and the beneficial effect may not be obtained.
Be sure to select the program to match the position of the attached pads.

* First check that the power is off.
Wipe the main unit with a cloth lightly dampened with
lukewarm water.
• Never use thinner, benzine or alcohol.
Doing so may result in malfunction or cracking or
discoloration of parts.
• Do not disassemble the main unit, drop it from a high
position, or apply an unreasonable force on the main unit.
• Do not place the device in locations having a high temperature or humidity or in direct sunlight.
• Remove the batteries if the device is not to be used for a prolonged period of time.

• Store the device in a place that is out of reach of children.
- Failure to do so may result in an accident or trouble.

IF THE PADS LOSE THEIR ADHESIVENESS
The pads can be used approximately 400 times (with washing in cold water).
If the pads become dirty and lose their adhesiveness (usually after 15-20 times), they can be
washed in water to restore their adhesiveness.The pads can be washed in this way about 20
times. (The useful life of the pads may be shortened by factors such as how often they are washed,
how they are stored, and skin condition.)
1Remove the conductive pad plugs from the pads.
• The conductive pad plug connectors may rust if they become wet.

Use your fingertips to gently wash the adhesive surface of the pad
with a small amount of running water for about 10 seconds or less.
• Do not rub the adhesive surface with your fingernails or a brush.
• Do not use detergents.
• Do not knead or soak the pads.
3Shake off any water, place the pads with their adhesive
surfaces facing up, let the surfaces air-dry, and then attach
the pads to the pad storage plate.
• After washing the pads, do not wipe the adhesive surfaces with a tissue
paper or cloth. Doing so may result in the tissue paper or cloth sticking to the
adhesive surfaces. If they become stuck to the adhesive surfaces by accident, do not forcibly
peel them off but wet the surfaces and they will easily come off.
• The pads are consumable items. If the adhesive surfaces become worn or damaged,
purchase new pads.

2Attach the pads to the pad storage plate.
• Untwist the cords before attaching the pads.
Failure to do so may prevent the cord from being taken up all the
way.
3Take up the cord.
• Slide the cord take-up switch on the side of the main unit in the
direction of the arrow.
• Take up the cord while making sure the cord is not twisted.
If the cord is taken up while twisted, this may prevent the cord
from being taken up all the way.
• If the cord take-up stops midway, pull out the cord a little and
again take up the cord.
The cord take-up has been designed to operate at a safe speed to
prevent injury.
4Store the pad storage plate into the storage case.
• Place the pad storage plate (attached with pads) into the storage
case.
5Place the main unit on top of the storage case.
• Be sure the cord is not sandwiched between the main unit and the
case.
- Doing so may damage the cord.
WARNING!
• Do not wrap the cord while the pads are attached to your skin.
• Wrap the cord after attaching the pads to the pad storage plate.
- Failure to do so may result in injury.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not appear to be working properly, refer to the following to determine the possible
cause of the problem:

We answer frequently asked questions about low-frequency muscle and nerve stimulation.
What is low-frequency muscle and nerve stimulation?
It is a type of physical therapy to help the body recover naturally from pain due to stiff muscles.
A weak electrical current (at low frequency) is passed through the body. The resultant stimulation
directly massages the muscles, calms excited nerves, and improves blood circulation.
Q1 How long should the massage be?
A1 The basic treatment time for one position is approximately 15 minutes. If this time is
exceeded, the result may be detrimental.
Q2 How many places can be treated?
A2 As many places as you desire can be treated in one day. However, please observe the limit
of 15 minutes for one position.
Q3 When should the treatment be done?
A3 The treatment is ideally done after a bath. The body is warm and blood circulation
improves. Be sure to wipe off all perspiration and water from the skin before use.
Q4 Why are there instances when the device should not be used?
A4 • During a fever: The illness may worsen.
• While menstruating: The treatment may interfere with the menstrual cycle and impair
health.
• During pregnancy or after giving birth: Hormones are not balanced.
• High blood pressure: The treatment would place an unreasonable load on the blood
vessels. In particular, the device must never be used on the head.

Q5 How do the benefits differ among the various types of stimulation such as tapping,
kneading, pressing, and rubbing?
A5 Depending on the purpose, a frequency up to 1200 Hz can be used for the low-frequency
