SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Never do the following about the power plug and cord
(To prevent re or electric shock)
● Do not plug in or unplug the power cord with wet hands.
● Do not hold or pull on the cord when removing the plug
from the socket.
● Do not use a power cord or plug that is damaged.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not allow children to use on their own.
● This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
● Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
Observe the following about the power plug and cord

Do not touch the spinner tub until it completely stops.
(To prevent injury)
● If the spinner tub does not stop within 15 seconds when the lid is opened during spin process, switch off the appliance
immediately and call a service person.
Do not wash, rinse, or spin waterproof sheets or clothes.
(To prevent injury, damage to the main unit, walls, oor or laundry, or water leakage if the appliance falls over or oscillates
extremely while spinning)
● Raincoats, wet suits, etc.

● New hose-sets supplied with the appliance are to be used and that old hose-sets should not be reused.
● Be careful not to get your ngers caught when opening and closing the lid.

WASH AND DRAIN SELECTOR
This selector is to set for Wash Mode and Drain.
1. 2 types of WASH MODE
- REGULAR
- GENTLE
2. DRAIN for drain the water from the wash tub.

- WASH TUB (LEFT)
- SPIN TUB (RIGHT)
This selector is to turn to your desired length of time for spin-dry
laundry by using 5minutes (If you want to set the timer to 2min.
or less, turn the selector beyond the 4min . position, and then
turn it back to the desired position).
- Be careful of the water spills out onto the control panel.
- Do not place any wet clothes on the control panel.
- Do not use any chemical, thinner to wipe the machine.

HOW TO INSTALL
Installing this Washer should be settled in a
well-ventilated, safe place and where can
connect the drain hose and the power supply.
It is recommended to place the washer on a level
foor and avoid a place where the washer can be
exposed to direct sunlight.
Insert the power plug firmly into
the power outlet.
Pull out the drain hose from the
washer. When using the washer
for the first time, you may find
water remaining in the drain
hose. It was used for the factory
performance test. It does not
imply any malfunction.

The new hose-sets supplied with
the appliance are to be used and
the old hose-sets should not be
reused.
If the installation, test run and inspection of the washing machine are not carried out following this installation

HOW TO WASH
1. Set the WASH MODE / DRAIN to “GENTLE” or “REGULAR”.
2. Set the WATER SUPPLY SELECTOR to “WASH TUB”.
3. Fill the wash tub with water up to desired amount (see attached table 1).
4. Put detergent according to the amount of water used (see the rules on the packaging). Set Wash Timer to 1-2 minutes.
5.
Put the clothes into the wash tub then set Wash Timer according to the load of clothes to be washed (see attached table 2).
6. When washing is completed, drain off the water by adjusting the WASH MODE / DRAIN to “DRAIN” position.
7. After the washing water is discharged, turn the WASH MODE / DRAIN to “GENTLE” or “REGULAR” position.
8. Fill the water overwhelms the cloths.
9. While the water flows into wash tub, set Wash Timer to 5 min. or 7 min. position to rinse.
10. When rinsing is completed, drain off the water by turning WASH MODE / DRAIN to “DRAIN” position.

When using “Pre Wash” Detergent

Please use “Pre Wash” Detergent inside the Washing Machine as shown in Figure 1& not outside of
the Washing Machine as shown in Figure 2.
Using some type of “Pre Wash” Detergent outside the Washing Machine sometimes may cause
damage on the plastic part.

How the Soak Function operates
SOAK FUNCTION
Soak Function enhances the efciency of the regular function, which helps to wash the clothes cleaner. Soak function will
be operated after the WASH TIMER switch is set to 45 min. position, then the washer will operate with soak function.
Soak function will run and stop alternately for 3times in 30 minutes then the operation will run regular wash operation in 15
minutes. To set the time for regular or soak functions, turning the switch to your desired period of time.
Characteristics of Soak Function
1. Maximize the efciency of the detergent. It allows the detergent penetrate into the fabric easily.
2. Soaking with water beforehand can help to clean out the stains and smell.
3. Do not use the brush otherwise it will damage the clothes.
4. Caring and preserving the fabric for long life extend.

HOW TO SPIN
Spinning
1. Put the laundry into the spinner tub and set the laundry until balance to avoid causing abnormal sounds.
2. Place the SPINNER CAP in the spin tub tightly and correctly, then close the Inner Lid and Spin Lid.
3. Set the spinning time. (See attached table 4)
4. Unplug the power cord.
Hints for Spinning
• If there is a sound from the spinner, open the spinner lid then try to lay the laundry evenly follows gure 1.
• If the lid is opened while the spinning function is working, the machine will stop within 5-10 seconds. If it is still running,
contact the service center.
• If the spinner lid is not closed, the machine will not work even the timing is set.

In case of the laundry falling from the spinner tub
•Remove the power plug from power outlet.
•Open Lid Spin and Inner Lid.
•Push Spin Tub and remove clothing stuck with using the tool.
•If not possible, Please contact your nearest Panasonic Service Center.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Be sure to remove the power plug from the power outlet before cleaning the machine and lter.
How to clean the Lint Filter
Pull out the lint lter from the lock. By using ngers to
press and pull out at the upper part of the lint lter’s side.
Rinse the dirt from the lter with water.
The laundry or button is stuck into the pulsator.
If the buttons, coins or the like wedged in the gap pulsator and cannot be taken,
contact your nearest service center.
Set it back to the original position.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If any abnormality is found, check the following before calling for service:
1. Is the power plug inserted rmly or power cord disconnected?
2. Is the fuse blown?
3. Is the timing switch turned “OFF” position?
4. Is the spinner lid closed properly?
5. Is there any laundry fallen out from the spinner tub?
If all the above points have been checked and no abnormality is found but the machine still work improperly.

PREVENTION OF FREEZING / FREEZING REPAIR
L PREVENTION OF FREEZING
• In case there is a possibility of freezing during the winter, please do not leave water in the wash tub of the machine.
(That will cause the machine to freeze or to breakdown.)
L FREEZING REPAIR
• Pour warm water (lower than 50°C) in the wash tub until the pulsator becomes thoroughly covered and soaked and
leave as such for about 10 minutes.
• Start using the machine when the pulsator can be turned around by hand and when you can drain the water smoothly.

TO ABIDE BY
If the spinner tub does not stop after 15 seconds from the
time you lifted the cover, immediately stop use of the
machine and call the serviceman.
Do not use too much detergent.
(The rinse will be insufcient.)
Please do not use a cover made of vinyl chloride on the
machine, as it can damage the plastic part and the surface
paint.
• If you intend to use such as a cover then you should rst
place a piece of cloth over the machine to keep it from
coming in contact with the cover.
If the amount of water is too much (the water pressure
being too high), tighten the tap.
• This could cause the inlet hose to come off, or water to
leak from the tap.
Do not allow the machine to gather condensation on the oor.
• When the air temperature is high and the water
temperature is low, condensation sometimes runs off onto
the oor.
Do not WASH or SPIN any clothes, material or sheets that
are watertight.
(Example) Raincoats, shing jackets and trousers, ski wear,
etc.
• There is the possibility of such articles of fabric coming out
of the spinner tub duirng the spin-dry, which can damage
the clothes and/or the washing machine.
Do not use sprays on the cover or on the machine parts.
Bug poison, hair spray, air freshener, etc. can be cause
breakdowns and also crack the plastic of the machine.
