Thank you for your purchase of the Multiple Medical Recliner L’ za (hereinafter, “recliner”).
This instruction manual describes precautions and how to safely use and operate the recliner.
To ensure safe and proper use of the product, be sure to read this instruction manual
before use.
After reading this instruction manual, store it in a place that can be easily accessed for later
reference.
Users and/or patients are requested to report information about any serious incident
related to this equipment that occurs within the EU to the manufacturer and the regulating
authority of the member country of residence.
‘Serious incident’ means any incident that directly or indirectly led, might have led or might
lead to any of the following:
a) the death of a patient, user or other person.
b) the temporary or permanent serious deterioration of a patient’s, user’s or other person’s
state of health.
c) a serious public health threat.

<INTENDED USE>
The Multiple Medical Recliner L’za is designed to be used in the treatment of dialysis patients and in
the drawing of blood samples from patients at medical institutions.

Adjusting the backrest angle p. 22
and

• The backrest angle can be adjusted by the
handheld controller, and the patient can be
positioned in a comfortable position which is not
dicult or detrimental to the human body.
* The backrest can move from an angle of -12° to
75°.
Adjusting the leg rest angle p. 22

• The leg rest angle can be adjusted by the
handheld controller, and the patient can be
positioned in a comfortable position which is not
dicult or detrimental to the human body.
* The leg rest can move from an angle of -30° to 12°.
Seat adjustment (3 motor type only) p. 22 and 23
• The height from the oor to the recliner seat face
can be adjusted by the handheld controller.
• The nurse can perform puncturing and blood
sample collection in a comfortable position.
* The seat face moves in the range of 45 cm to
76 cm.
* This operation can also be performed by the foot
control switch.
Opening and closing the armrest p. 19
• The armrest can be opened to the outside, which
makes it easier for the patient to get on or o the
recliner.
• The nurse can perform puncturing and blood
sample collection in a comfortable position.
* The armrest can be moved to up to 45° to the
outside.

• The armrest can be ipped upward, which
enables the patient to easily be transferred from
the wheelchair.

The angle of the backrest and leg rest can be operated at the same time by the handheld controller, and the patient can thus
adjust his/her position more quickly.

The position of the pillow can be adjusted according to the height of the patient.
Emergency back-lowering function p. 30
The backrest can be lowered rapidly in case of fainting due to anemia or a similar condition and other emergency conditions,
or a power failure.
Four-wheel stopper p. 29
A stopper is attached to each of the four wheels by which the recliner can be rmly xed at its position.
* The operations performed by the handheld controller, the opening/closing and ipping up of the armrest, the adjustment of
the footrest position, and the adjustment of the pillow position are intended to be used by patients.

cuts) or property damage if due care is not used.

important because ignoring them could result in serious life-threatening accidents. Be sure to read these

unexpected ways or cannot maintain their posture independently.

to both sides of the upper part of the
backrest, to the back side of the base
frame, and to the base frame cover.
Do not remove or deface them.
If the safety label is removed or
defaced, replace the part to which
