ME-1245; Ballistic Cart Accessory Battery Replacement Instructions
Battery part number: PS-3297; Li-Poly 500mAH
Recommended Equipment: Phillips Screwdrivers
Step 1: Position the Sensor on a surface as shown. Note the location of the (2) Thumb
Screws. Note also there are captive rubber washers on the opposite side.

Step 2: Pull out the (2) Thumb Screws and locate the Screws and Washers aside for later
reassembly.
Step 3: Flip the unit over looking at the bottom as shown below. Unscrew the Screw-Spring
assembly using a standard Phillips Screwdriver and remove it from the unit. Note: you might
have to flip the unit over to allow the spring to fall out.

Step 4: Place a support to the left of the unit approximately the same height as the unit.
Rotate the bottom cover to the left as shown below.
Step 5: Remove the battery strap screws with the #0 or #00 Phillips Screwdriver and set
aside. Unplug and remove the battery. Add the replacement battery at the location shown (see
above picture) and position the wiring similar to the routing shown. Plug the battery into its
mating connector and reverse the steps noted above to complete the reassembly. **
** Important Reassembly Notes!
-Turn the Spring Screw assembly fully in until it bottoms out, and then turn back out 1.5 turns.
-Fully reinsert the (2) Thumb Screws and slide the captive rubber washer flush with the plastic
as shown below.
