PCS Electronics PEBBLE User manual

Please read these instructions fully before you begin
installation to ensure you have everything ready.

Wi-Fi
◦Your home internet wireless connection
BlinkUp
◦We use this to describe the process of connecting your Pebble
device to your home Wi-Fi network.
Sharing
◦The term used to describe sharing the setup you have made to
anyone else with a smartphone in your household.
Smartphone
◦Describes either your IPhone or Android mobile phone
Cloud
◦Describes the service used to connect between your phone and
your home Wi-Fi service. This is located on the internet.

Home Wi-Fi
◦Please ensure your smartphone is connected to your
home Wi-Fi, and have your home Wi-Fi password handy
◦Write in the box below for reference latter
◦DO NOT plug the pebble into the power yet… this is done
at step 7

Important – Ensure your phone display brightness is on
high (this is required for the setup to work later)
Download the Pebble Air Application to your smartphone
◦Visit
Then open the Application

Open the Pebble Air app
Go to Settings

Select BlinkUp Pebble
Choose your Home Wi-Fi from the list & select it

Enter your home Wi-Fi password

Use show password, this
ensures the correct password
is entered

Using the supplied low voltage transformer, plug
your Pebble into a local electrical socket.
(Your Pebbles LEDs will start flashing)
It is important this is not done until now as part of
the setup procedure.

Plug in the Pebble, press the “Send BlinkUp” button and
immediately place the pebble on top of the screen of your
smartphone, as shown above

If setup is successful (after approx 15sec ) the GREEN LED
on the Pebble will flash GREEN once then RED/Orange a
few times and then GREEN again for approximately one
minute. Now remove the Pebble from your smartphone
and go to step 9
If the LED flashes ORANGE or RED or does not light up again
then the process has failed and it will need to be repeated. Re-
do from STEP 7 Ensuring you un-plug the Pebble and wait
approx. 30 seconds before plugging back in again.
Other flashing codes are shown in the complete manual provided
with the Pebble.

Press Select Remote
Choose the Brand of your Air Conditioner / Heat Pump
Choose the Remote Control Model Number for your selected air-
con/heat-pump brand (which will be found on your remote control)
Press the Save button

Congratulations set up complete.
Push the “home” button to start using your Pebble Air app.

You must position your Pebble carefully in a considered location. It is
vital that the Pebble can see the front of the air-con/heat-
pump(where the infra-red receiver is) as infra-red signals cannot see
around corners or go through walls.
Do not place the Pebble on or above any appliance that generates
heat.
