REAR PARKING
ASSISTANCE
This system, located in the rear
bumper, detects any obstacle
(person, vehicle, tree, gate...)
behind the vehicle.
Activatio
With the engine switched on, the
system is activated as soon as
reverse gear is engaged; a bleep
signals that it is active.
Proximity information is given by
a warning signal, which consists
of bleeps which become more
and more rapid the nearer the
vehicle gets to the obstacle.
When the distance between the
rear of the vehicle and the obsta-
cle is less than approximately
25 centimetres, the warning sig-
nal becomes continuous.
☞Change to neutral to
de-activate the sys-
tem.
TYRE UNDER-INFLATION
DETECTION
ensors check the pressure dur-
ing driving and trigger a warning
in the event of malfunction
(speed greater than 15 mph
(25 km/h)).
Flat tyre(s)
When this message appears on
the multi-function display, accom-
panied by an audible signal, have
the tyre pressure checked as
soon as possible.
Pu cture
Appearance of this message,
accompanied by an audible sig-
nal, is followed by illumination of
the STOP warning light.
Stop immediately, avoiding any
sudden movement of the steering
wheel and the brakes.
Change the damaged (punctured
or very deflated) tyre and have
the tyre pressure checked as
soon as possible.
Note: if the damaged tyre is tem-
porarily stored in the boot, it will
again emit this message to
remind you of the necessity of
having it repaired. This will pre-
vent another warning of the same
type being displayed.
The spare wheel has no sensor.
X tyre pressure se sor(s)
missi g
This message, accompanied by
an audible signal, indicates that
under-inflation detection is
absent from one (or several)
tyre(s).
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to
replace the faulty sensor(s).
This message is also dis-
played when one of the
tyres is away from the
vehicle (being repaired)
or when a wheel without a sensor
is fitted (Winter tyre).
This system does ot elimi ate
the eed to have the tyre pres-
sures checked regularly.

PEUGEOT SE VICING
The maintenance cycle for your vehicle is based on level A (drain/refill engine oil, checks and top up levels) and level C
operations (level A operations + workshop operations carried out every 36,000/40,000 miles (60 000 km)) in accordance
with the tables shown on the following pages.
Whatever the conditions of use of your vehicle, the interval between two services must not exceed:
• 20,000 miles (30 000 km) or 2 years for petrol engines,
• 12,000 miles (20 000 km) or 2 years for Turbo Diesel HDI engines.
The service indicator informs you when the services are due; the point at which each service is due is calculated from the
last indicator zero reset (see corresponding section).
This point is determined by two parameters:
– the distance travelled,
– the time elapsed since the last service.
Note: the distance remaining may be weighted by the time factor, in accordance with the driver's style of driving.
In all cases, the extension of the service intervals means that the engine oil level must be checked regularly:
topping up of the oil between oil changes is normal.
This is why the PEUGEOT network is offering you an intermediate visit between regular services. The date of this
visit is not shown by the service indicator.
It is to be carried out between two services.
APEUGE T dealer will carry out a quick check and top up the levels if necessary (oil, coolant and screen wash up to 2 litres).
If the oil level is too low there is a risk of serious damage to the engine: check the engine oil level at least every
3,000 miles (5 000 km).
This extended servicing has been made possible by modifications to our vehicles and to the lubricants:

THE SE VICE LEVELS
Each vehicle has its own servicing cycle, defined by the manufacturer in terms of its engine type.
This cycle consists of alternating 2 types of service, A and C, intermediate visits and a few additional operations specific to
your vehicle; these correspond to key stages in the life of your 807.
At the first and each subsequent service, your dealer will advise you of the type and content of the next service due.

A few seconds after the ignition is
switched on, the oil level is dis-
played, then the total distance
recorder resumes normal operation
showing the total and trip distances.
The distance remaining before the
next service is less than 1 000 km
Each time the ignition is switched on
and for a few seconds, the spanner
flashes and the number of kilometres
remaining is displayed:
A few seconds after the ignition is
switched on, the oil level is dis-
played, then the total distance
recorder resumes normal operation
and the spanner remains lit. This
indicates that a service should be
carried out shortly.
SE VICE INDICATO
Located in the instrument panel with
the total distance recorder (total and
trip distances), this programmes ser-
vice intervals according to the use of
the vehicle.
Operation
A few moments after the ignition has
been switched on, the spanner indi-
cating a service operation lights up;
the display for the total distance
recorder tells you (in round figures)
the distance remaining before the
next service.
Example: 4 800 km remain before
the next service is due. When the
ignition is switched on and for a few
seconds, the display shows:
The service is overdue
Each time the ignition is switched on
and for a few seconds, the spanner
flashes and the excess distance is
displayed.
Notes:
With the engine running the spanner
remains lit until the service has been
carried out.
The spanner may also light up if the
two-year interval has elapsed (see
section "PEUGE T services").

Zero re-set
Your PEUGE T dealer carries out
this operation after each service.
However, if you carry out the service
yourself, the re-set procedure is as
follows:
☞Switch off the ignition,
☞
Press and hold the trip recorder
re-set button,
☞Switch on the ignition.
The display begins a countdown.
When the display shows "= 0",
release the button; the spanner
disappears.
Note: after this operation, if you wish
to disconnect the battery, lock the
vehicle and wait for at least five
minutes, otherwise the zero re-set
will not be registered.
MAINTENANCE OF PA TS SUBJECT TO WEA and a check of consum-
ables
Some of your vehicle's vital components have specific servicing schedules.
• The brake fluid is to be replaced every 36,000/40,000 miles (60 000 km) or
every two years maximum;
• The passenger compartment filter must be checked at each visit to a
PEUGE T dealer (services and intermediate visits) or more often, depending
on the environment (dust, pollution, etc.);
• For HDI turbo diesel engines with particulate emission filter, maintenance
of the filter and topping up of the additive reservoir must be carried out every
72,000 miles (120 000 km) maximum by a PEUGE T dealer;
• Replacement of the timing belt: contact a PEUGE T dealer.
•Tyre pressure sensors are to be replaced every 10 years.
• The check on tyre inflation pressure must be carried out cold at least once
a month.
A DUOUS CONDITIONS OF USE
In the case of use in certain particularly difficult conditions, such as continuous
door to door, town use (e.g. taxi), repeated short journeys, with the engine
cold at low temperatures or prolonged stays in hot countries with tempera-
tures often above +30 °C, cold countries with temperatures often below –15 °C,
countries with a dusty atmosphere and countries whose lubricants or fuels do
not conform to our recommendations,
it is necessary to follow an "Arduous Conditions" servicing schedule which has spe-
cial operations and shorter service intervals:
• Every 12,000 miles (20 000 km) or every year for petrol vehicles.
• Every 10,000 miles (15 000 km) or every year for HDI Turbo Diesel vehicles.

DIESELDIESELPETR L PETR L
24
(1) Minimum quality standard: Petrol engines ACEAA3 and API SH/SJ; Diesel engines: ACEA B3 and API CF/CD
ACEA = Association des Constructeurs Européens Automobiles (Association of European Automobile Manufacturers) -
API = American Petroleum Institute.
If oil is used which does not conform to the ACEAA3-B3 standards, this requires the "Arduous Conditions" servicing
schedule to be followed, which involves shorter intervals between services.
Use only 5W40 synthetic oil for the HDI Turbo Diesel engines with particulate emissions filter.
* Fuel Economy il cannot be used for the 2.2 litre 16V petrol engine and the HDI Turbo Diesel engines with particulate
emissions filter.
