Hardware Overview
* You can assign a specic program to a congurable key. Tap Start > Settings > Personal > Buttons, select one of these
congurable keys, and then assign a program to the selected key.

3. Push the battery latch on the back of the device upwards to
lock the battery.
4. Slide the back cover as shown until it clicks into place.
5. Press the Power key to turn on the device. When the device
is on, press the Power key again can switch the device into
sleep mode; press and hold the Power key to completely
turn off the device.

1. Hold the back cover latch and slide the back cover as shown.
2. Align the gold contacts of the battery with the corresponding
conductors on the device, and then push the battery into place.
Installing MicroSD Card
Charging the Battery
To install a microSD card, lift the card slot cover on the side of the device, insert the microSD card with the logo side up, and then
push it into place.
1. Make sure the battery is sitting in the battery slot correctly.
2. Connect the device to the AC adapter and plug the AC adapter (supplied with the device) into a power
outlet; or connect the device to a PC with the USB cable (supplied with the device).
NOTE To charge the device with a USB cable, you must connect the device to a functioning USB port on a PC that is
powered on.
