3Required Items
The following items are required for installing a Phase One iX Camera on a DJI M600 & M600 Pro drone:
•DJI M600 / M600 Pro drone
•Gremsy T7 gimbal, including the Canlink Cable for DJI A3/N3:
•Phase One Integration kit (see Section 2 - What’s in the Box).
•Additional remote control for iX Capture Mobile app.

1. Unbox and assemble the M600 / M600 PRO
drone according to the DJI Installation Manual.

1. Download DJI Assistant 2 from the DJI website and install it on a PC.
2. Connect a USB cable between the PC and the drone micro USB port.
3. Turn ON the drone.
4. Run Assistant 2. If the drone is connected, the following screen appears. Click M600 / M600 Pro.
5. In the navigation pane, click SDK and configure the following fields:
Select the Enable API Control check box.
Select the Ground Station Status check box.
Set the Baud Rate to 115200.
6. Exit the application and restart the drone.
Note
After upgrading the DJI drone firmware, repeat the above procedure.

1. With the drone facing upwards, remove the drone top cover.
2. Turn the drone on its side and remove the drone bottom cover.
3. Insert the DJI Drone - Gremsy T7 communication cable (P/N 76017100) through the M600/M600 PRO
body so that the cable’s black connector is routed through the available holes of the drone body (from
the bottom up).
4. Insert the Canlink Cable for DJI A3/N3 (provided in the Gremsy T7 kit) through the M600/M600 PRO
body so that the cable’s black connector is routed through the available holes of the drone body (from
the bottom up).
5. Once the DJI Drone - Gremsy T7 communication cable is in place, connect the cable’s black connector to
the A3 Flight Controller API port.

6. Once the Canlink Cable for DJI A3/N3 cable is in place, connect the cable’s black connector to the A3
Flight Controller CAN1 port.
7. Place the drone top cover back in its place.
8. Underneath the drone, secure the DJI Drone - Gremsy T7 communication cable’s small communication
box with an M3 screw, a spring washer, and a flat washer next to the drone USB port.

9. Connect both white connectors of the DJI Drone - Gremsy T7 communication cable to the gimbal ports
according to their size, as shown in the following figure.
10.Connect the white connector of the Canlink Cable for DJI A3/N3 cable to the gimbal port as shown in the
following figure.

1. Position the drone on its back and mount the HDMI Hyper Quick Release on the Gremsy T7 Damping
Plate, then attach to the DJI frame as described in the Gremsy T7 User Manual.

1. In the Phase One camera mount for your camera (P/N 50201111 for iXU/iXM cameras; P/N 50201821
for iXM cameras), insert the four M4 screws with four spring washers and four flat washers.
2. Assemble the camera mount on the camera and fasten the screws.

3. Using the 3.8” camera screw supplied with the DJI Gimbal kit, attach the camera plate (P/N 76016800)
to the Phase One camera mount.
4. Using the 2 small screws provided, attach the camera top cross bar to the top of the camera mount.

5. Facing outward on the tuning stand, slide the Phase One iX Camera into the Gremsy T7 gimbal slot until
the safety-locks engage. Vertically adjust the tilt top bar to meet the camera top cross bar. When the
Phase One Camera is in place, tighten the base side clamp and lock-knobs.
Note
The camera should be placed upside-down so the pitch-axis can rotate to -135 degrees.
6. Assemble the Gremsy T7 Gimbal with the Phase One iX Camera) to the DJI drone according to
instructions in the relevant DJI and Gremsy user manuals listed in Section 1.2 - Applicable Documents.
