1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE.
■This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and older and by persons with physical or
mental impairments or by inexperienced persons, if they are properly supervised or have been
informed about how to use the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are older than
8 years of age and under supervision. Children must not play with the appliance. Keep this
appliance and the power cord out of reach of children that are younger than 8 years of age.
■This appliance is designed for household use only. It is not intended for use in locations such as:
– sta kitchens in stores, oces and other workplaces;
– agricultural farms;
– hotel or motel rooms and other living areas;
– bed and breakfast establishments.
■This appliance serves to process food by heat. Do not use it for any other purpose than for which
it was designed.
■Do not place the appliance on window sills, sink drainboards, unstable surfaces, on electric or
gas stoves, or in their vicinity. Only place the appliance on a stable, even, dry surface.
■Before connecting the appliance to a power socket, check that the voltage on its rating label
matches the electrical voltage in the power socket. Connect the appliance only to a properly
grounded socket.
■The appliance is equipped with a removable power cord. Before disconnecting the power cord
from the appliance, always rst remove the plug from the power socket.
Attention:
This appliance is not designed to be controlled using a programmed device, external timer
switch or remote control.
■Only use the appliance with the original accessories from the manufacturer.
■Do not use the appliance near ammable materials such as curtains, kitchen towels, etc.
■To ensure sucient air circulation during operation, there must be a clearance of at least 15 cm
on all sides of the appliance. Do not place any items on to the appliance and do not cover the
ventilation openings.
■Avoid contact with hot steam, which is released from the ventilation openings while the
appliance is running.
■Do not overll the removable basket with a large amount of food. Make sure that the food
placed in the removable basket does not come into contact with the heating element.
■Do not place your hands into the internal area of the appliance while it is running.
■Do not ll the removable pan with oil. Filling the pan with oil could result in a dangerous
situation arising. This healthy frying method is based on the principle of circulating hot air that
does not require the use of oil. A small amount of oil can be added purely for the purpose of
avouring the food.
■Do not use the appliance to fry foods with a high fat content.

Attention: Hot surface
■When the appliance is in operation, the temperature of accessible surfaces may be higher. Do
not touch the hot surface. Otherwise, this could cause burns. Use the handle to remove and
carry the hot pan and basket. Only place the hot pan and basket on heat resistant surfaces.
When removing the pan out of the appliance, be especially careful not to scald yourself by the
steam that is released from the food. The residual heat of the appliance means that it remains
hot for a certain time after it is turned o.
■In the event that the food inside the appliance catches on re, immediately turn it o and
disconnect it from the power socket. Wait until the smoke coming out of the ventilation
openings disappears before sliding out the pan.
■Do not pour icy cold water into the hot pan.
■Always turn o the appliance and disconnect it from the power socket when leaving it without
supervision or when not using it and before moving or cleaning it. Allow the appliance to cool
down before moving or cleaning it.
■Do not submerge the appliance in water or in any other liquid.
■Do not place heavy items on the power cord. Make sure that the power cord does not hang over
the edge of a table or that it is not touching a hot surface.
■Disconnect the appliance from the power socket by gently pulling the plug of the power cord,
and not the power cord itself. Otherwise, this could damage the power cord or the socket.
■In the event that the power cord is damaged, it must replaced with an original power cord that is
available at an authorised service centre. It is forbidden to use the appliance if it has a damaged
power cord.
■To avoid the danger of injury by electrical shock, do not repair the appliance yourself or make
any adjustments to it. Have all repairs performed at an authorised service centre. By tampering
with the appliance, you risk voiding your legal rights arising from unsatisfactory performance or
quality warranty.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming entangled in,
or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
• Theelectricalratingoftheextensioncordshouldbeatleastthatoftheappliance.Iftheelectrical
rating of the extension cord is too low, it could overheat and burn.
• Theresultingextendedcordshouldbearrangedsothatitwillnotdrapeoverthecountertopor
tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

3. KNOW YOUR SMART FRYER
Prepare your favorite foods and snacks in a quick, healthy, and easy way with your new Air Fryer. This Air Fryer combines heat with high-speed air circulation and
a top grill to cook your ingredients from all sides, simultaneously! It also allows you to prepare a variety of tasty dishes without the addition of excess oils or fats to
most ingredients. This Air Fryer features:

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Unpacktheapplianceanditsaccessories(foodbasket,foodbasketholder,divider).Washtheaccessoriesinhot,soapywaterandthenwipethemdry.Wipethe
interior of the frying cavity with a damp cloth or sponge, and then dry with a paper towel. Make sure the cavity is dry before operating the unit.
• PositiontheAirFryeronaat,levelandheat-resistantsurface.Make sure that it is also positioned at least 15 cm away from any surrounding objects.
• ItisrecommendedtolettheAirFryerheatforabout20minuteswithoutanyfoodinit.Thishelpstoeliminategreasethatmayhaveadheredduringmanufacturing,
andtoeliminatethe„new“appliancesmell.
• Ventilatetheroomduringthisperiod.WhenyourAirFryerisheatedforthe rst time,it mayemit slight smoke or odor.Thisisnormalwith manyheating
appliances. This does not aect the safety of your appliance.
Caution: When moving the Air Fryer, make sure that you hold it securely and support the base—do not rely on the food basket handle when moving the
fryer!
USEFUL HINTS FOR USE
• Thisapplianceisusedforthepreparationofsolidfoods.
Do not prepare any soups or liquid foodstus in it.
• Asafetyswitchpreventstheuseoftheappliancewithoutabasketwiththefattank.
• Toachieveanoptimumresult,llthefryingbasketmaximaluptotheMAX marking only. Never overll the frying basket, so that the food does not touch the
heating element.
• Neverputoilorotherliquidsinthefattank.Inordertoachievecrispyresults,youcanbastethefoodwithalittleoil.
• Donotpreparetheapplianceforhigh-fatfoods(e.g.sausages).
• Allfoodscanbepreparedintheappliance,whicharealsosuitablefortheoven.
• Notethatthedoughexpandsduringbakingofcakes,breadorsimilar.Nothingmustcomeintocontactwiththeheatingelement.
• Foodsthatarecookedoveroneanother,mustbeshakenafterhalfwaythroughthecookingtime.Thustheresultisoptimizedandpreventsunevencooking.
Tip: Remove the basket from the fat tank to be able to shake the content in a better way.
• Pourwateronhomemadepotatoproductsaftercuttingatleast30minutestoreducethepotatostarch.Thendrythepotatopieceswithpaper.
• Thecookingtimedependsonseveralfactors:Size,condition,quantityoffoodandsettemperature.Forstandardvalues,see“FunctionButtons”“Autofunctions”.
• Ifyoudonotpreheatthehotairfryer,add3minutestothecookingtime.
• Frysteaks/largerquantitiesofmeatinapanpreviouslybeforeleavingtocookinthehotairfryer.Timeandtemperaturearedependentonthedesireddegree
of doneness.
• Withtheappliance,youcanalsoreheatfood.Setthetimeto10minutesandthetemperatureto150°C.
FUNCTION BUTTONS
NOTE:
• Thebuttonsontheappliancearetouchkeys.Gentlytouchthebuttonswithangertoexecutethefunction.
Whenever a button is pressed, it will be conrmed by a beep sound.
• Bypressingandholdingthebuttons+or -, a fast-forward will start.
Setting the Temperature and Time
Use the and buttons to set the temperature and the time. Press the °C or Min button to toggle between the display of the temperature and the time. The display
automatically changes after about 5 seconds if no button is pressed.
NOTE:
• The°Cbuttonisdisplayedonlywhenthetemperatureinthedisplayislit.
• TheMinbuttonisdisplayedonlywhenthetimeinthedisplayislit.

USING THE APPLIANCE
1. Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed socket.
NOTE:
 Youwillhearabeepsoundandallsymbolslightupbriey.Thebutton lights red.
2. Press the buttontoswitchtheapplianceon.Youwillseethepre-adjustment190°Cand3minutes.
3. Select an auto function by using the

buttonorsetthetime(1-60minutes)andthetemperature(80°C-200°C)individuallybyusingthebuttons+and -.
NOTE:
 YoumayuseprogramPfor preheating.
4. Press the button to start the cooking process.
NOTE:
• Oncethepre-settemperatureisreached,the

symbol will light green.
• Thesymbolisswitchingbetweenthecoloursredandgreen.Thisisnormalanditindicatesthatthetemperatureiscontrolledbythethermostatandisbeing
maintained.
5. Using the handle, pull the fat tank with the basket from the appliance.
6. Fill the basket with the desired food.
7. Slide the fat tank with the basket back into the appliance.
It must engage.
8. If necessary, shake the food after half the cooking time.
Pull it out of the fat tank with the basket on the handle.
WARNING:
• Hotsteamcanescape!
• Nevershakethebasketwhenitisinthefattank,becausethismaycontainhotoil.
9. Place the fat tank with basket on a heat-resistant surface.
10. Slide the cover of the release button towards the basket.
11. Press the release button to remove the basket. Shake the contents of the basket.
12. Put the basket back in the fat tank. This must engage.
13. Slide the fat tank back into the appliance.
Pause Operation
• Pressthebutton to pause the operation. The button is ashing. Press the button again to resume the operation. The button is continuously lit
again.
• Theoperationwillalsobepausedassoonasyouremovethebasket.Inordertoturntheappliancebackon,insertthebasketagain.
NOTE:
• Theappliancewillstartfromthespotithasbeenpaused.
• If,however,youpulloutthepowerplug,yourcurrentsettingswillbelost.Wheninsertingthepowerplugandpressingthebutton the appliance will show the
pre-adjustment again.
End of Operation
1. After the time has elapsed, the appliance will automatically switch into standby mode. After approx. 20 seconds, you will hear 5 beep sounds and the

symbol
goes o.
2. Pull out the fat tank with the basket by the handle.
3. Place the fat tank with basket on a heat-resistant surface.
4. Slide the cover of the release button towards the basket.
5. Press the release button to remove the basket. Put the food in a heatproof bowl.
6. Slide the fat tank back into the appliance.

The following table will help you select the basic settings for the ingredients you want to prepare.
Note: Keep in mind that these settings are suggestions.
Tips:
• AnyfoodthatcanbepreparedinatraditionalovencanalsobepreparedintheAirFryer.

• Alargeramountofingredientsonlyrequiresaslightlylongerpreparationtime;asmalleramountofingredientsonlyrequiresaslightlyshorterpreparationtime.
• Shakingsmalleringredientshalfwaythroughthepreparationtimeoptimizestheendresultandcanhelppreventunevenlyfriedfood.
• Ifsomefoodstustendtostickatthebottomofthebasket,thinktoaddsomecookingoilsprayinthebasketpriortoaddingtheingredientstocook.
• Donotprepareverygreasyingredients,suchassausages,intheAirFryerasthegreasecouldcatchre.
• Addsomeoiltofreshpotatoesforacrispyresult.FryyouringredientsintheAirFryerwithinafewminutesafteryouaddtheoil.
• Theoptimalamountforpreparingcrispyfriesis500grams/1.2lb
• Usepre-madedoughtopreparelledsnacksquicklyandeasily.
Pre-made dough also requires a shorter preparation time than home-made dough.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Makesuretocleantheapplianceaftereachuse!
• Switchtheapplianceo.Beforecleaning,unplugtheappliancefromoutletandallowittocooldowncompletely.
• Thebasketandbasketholdercanbecleanedinhotwaterwithmilddetergent/dishsoap,orinthedishwasher.Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive
cleaning materials to clean them, as this may damage the non-stick coating. Rinse and dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• Toremovebaked-onfood,llthebasketholderwithhot,soapywater.Putthefoodbasketinthepanandletthepanandthebasketsoakforabout10minutes
before cleaning in the sink.
Cleaning inside the cavity:
• Wipethecavitywithadampclothorsponge.Drywithapapertowel.
• Neveruseabrasiveproductsinthecavity!
• NeverimmersetheapplianceinwaterandmakesurethatnowaterormoisturepenetratestheupperpartoftheAirFryer.
• CleantheheatingelementinsidetheAirFryerwithacleaningbrushtoremoveanyfoodresidue.
Cleaning the smart fryer’s exterior:
• Wipecleanwithadampspongeorcloth.Wipedry.
• NEVERusesteelwool,metalscouringpadsorabrasivecleaners,astheymaydamagethenish.
• DonotletanyliquidsentertheairinletonthetopoftheAirFryer.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
DO NOT IMMERSETHE FRYER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID!

5. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible cause Solution
The Air Fryer does not work The appliance is not plugged in. Put the main plug in an earthed wall socket.
Youhavenotsetthetimer. Adjust the setting to the required preparation time
to switch on the appliance.
The basket holder is not properly locked. Push the basket holder back in the Air Fryer properly.
The ingredients fried with the Air Fryer are not done. There is too much food in the basket. Put smaller batches of ingredients in the basket.
Smaller batches are fried more evenly.
The set temperature is too low. Adjust the setting to the required temperature
setting(seesection„Settings“).
The cooking time is too short. Adjust the setting to the required preparation time
(seesection„Settings“).
Fried snacks are not crispy when they come out of
the Air Fryer.
Youusedatypeofsnackmeanttobepreparedina
traditional deep fryer.
Use snacks made to be prepared in the oven, or
lightly brush some oil onto the snacks for a crispier
result.
I cannot slide the basket into the appliance properly. There is too much food in the basket. Do not ll the basket to capacity; refer to the
“Setting”tableaboveformaximumquantities.
The basket in not placed properly in the basket
holder.
Push the basket down into the basket
holder until you hear a slight click.
White smoke comes out of the appliance. Youarepreparinggreasyingredients. When you fry greasy ingredients in the Air Fryer, a
large amount of oil will leak into the pan. The oil
produces white smoke and the pan may heat up
more than usual. This does not aect the appliance
or the end result.
The pan still contains grease residues from previous
use.
White smoke is caused by grease heating up in the
basket holder; make sure you clean the basket and
basket holder thoroughly after each use.
Fresh fries are fried unevenly in the Air Fryer. Youdidnotusetherighttypeofpotato. Use fresh potatoes and make sure they stay rm
during frying.
Youdidnotrinsethepotatosticksproperlybefore
you fried them.
Rinse the potato sticks thoroughly to remove starch
from the outside of the sticks.
Fresh fries are not crispy when they come out of the
Air Fryer.
The crispiness of the fries depends on the amount of
oil and water in the fries.
Make sure you dry the potato sticks properly before
you add the oil.
Cut the potatoes into thinner sticks for a crispier
result.
Add slightly more oil for a crispier result.
