Your Mixer Grinder comes
with different jars for
different applications.
The wet jar (HL 7620 and
HL 7610) / multipurpose
jar (HL 7600) with the
black gasket and can be
used to prepare shakes,
purees, batters and for
liquidizing.
Wet Grinding Jar / Multipurpose Jar

The dry jar (HL 7620,
HL 7610) with the dry
grinding blade can be
used for dry grinding like
making masalas.
Dry Grinding Jar

The chutney jar can
be used to prepare
chutneys, masalas or nuts
in smaller quantities.

Your Mixer Grinder is
equipped with a safety
lock mechanism. This will
prevent the appliance
from starting if the jar
is not properly mounted
on the base unit. Place
the jar at the ‘unlock’
position and twist
clockwise to the ‘lock’
position

To lock the jar into place,
twist it clockwise to align
the locking bar with the
‘locked ’ icon on the base
unit.
To lock the chutney jar,
place it on the base unit
with the locking arm
to the right side of the
knob.

There is only one locking
position for the chutney
jar. The appliance will
not operate till the jar
is locked in the correct
position.
DO NOT:

1. To make the appliance
further safe to use, the
chutney jar is equipped
with a lid lock. To lock,
place the lid on the jar at
an angle as shown...

3. Once the lid is
completely locked into
place, the chutney jar can
be operated. The chutney
jar will not run unless the
lid is properly locked.
2. Twist the lid in the
clockwise direction till it
locks into the groove...

To open the chutney jar
lid, twist it in the anti-
clockwise direction.
Removing the Chutney Jar Lid

Ensure that the lid is
completely locked and
the lip on the lid is
aligned with the jar. If
not aligned, the appliance
may still run but this will
increase the chances of
breakage.
DO NOT:
Do not pull or push the lid
to open or lock. Always
twist to open and close
the lid.
