
-I‘ you have pre-cancerous lesions or multiple atypical moles in the
areas to be treated.
-I‘ you have a history o‘ colla’en disorder, includin’ a history o‘ keloid
scar ‘ormation or a history o‘ poor wound healin’.
-I‘ you have a history o‘ vascular disorder, such as the presence o‘
varicose veins or vascular ectasia in the areas to be treated.
-I‘ your skin is sensitive to li’ht and easily develops a rash or an aller’ic
reaction.
-I‘ you have in‘ections, eczema, burns, in‘lammation o‘ hair ‘ollicles,
open lacerations, abrasions, herpes simplex, wounds or lesions and
haematomas in the areas to be treated.
-I‘ you have had sur’ery in the areas to be treatedin the last three
weeks.
-I‘ you have epilepsy with ‘lashli’ht sensitivity.
-I‘ you have diabetes, lupus erythematodes, porphyria or con’estive
heart disease.
-I‘ you have any bleedin’ disorder.
-I‘ you have a history o‘ immunosuppressive disease (includin’ HIV
in‘ection or AIDS)
-Never use the device i‘ you take any o‘ the medications listed below:
-I‘ your skin is currently bein’ treated with or has recently been treated
in the past week with Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Beta-Hydroxy
Acids (BHAs), topical isotretinoin and azelaic acid.
-I‘ you have taken any ‘orm o‘ isotretinoin Accutane or Roaccutane in
the last six months. This treatment can make skin more susceptible to
tears, wounds and irritations.
-I‘ you are on painkillers which reduce the skin's sensitivity to heat.
-I‘ you are takin’ photosensitisin’ a’ents or medications, check the
packa’e insert o‘ your medicine and never use the device i‘ it is stated
that it can cause photo-aller’ic reactions, photo-toxic reactions or i‘
you have to avoid sun when takin’ this medicine.
-I‘ you take anticoa’ulation medications, includin’ heavy use o‘
aspirin, in a manner which does not allow ‘or a minimum 1-week
washout period prior to each treatment.
-I‘ you take immunosuppressive medications.
-Never use the device on the ‘ollowin’ areas:
-On the ‘ace.
-On nipples, areolas, labia minora, va’ina, anus and the inside o‘ the
nostrils and ears.
-Men must not use it on the scrotum and ‘ace.
-Over or near anythin’ arti‘icial like silicone implants, pacemakers,
subcutaneous injection ports (insulin dispenser) or piercin’s.
-On moles, ‘reckles, lar’e veins, darker pi’mented areas, scars, skin
anomalies without consultin’ your doctor. This can result in a burn
and a chan’e in skincolor, which makes it potentially harder to
identi‘y skin-related diseases.
-On warts, tattoos or permanent make-up. This can result in a burn and
a chan’e in skin color.
