Detaching and attaching cutting elements
1To detach a cutting element, push upБards
against the teeth of the cutting element and
take it off the handle.

cutting element into the guiding slot at the front
and push the back of the cutting element onto
the appliance ('click').
Detaching the precision shaver and nose
trimmer
1Place Гour finger on the arroБ at the back of
the attachment and push it off the handle in the
direction of the arroБ.

Attaching and detaching combs

1To attach anГ tГpe of guard onto a cutting
element, slide the front part of the guard onto
the teeth of the cutting element. Then push
doБn the center of the guard Бith Гour fingers
or the palm of Гour hand ('click').
2To detach anГ tГpe of comb from the cutting
element, carefullГ pull its back part off the
appliance and then slide it off the cutting
element.
Note: When trimming for the first time, start bГ
using the comb Бith the maВimum trimming
length setting to familiariДe Гourself Бith the
appliance.
Switching the appliance on and off
- To sБitch on the appliance, push the on/off
slide upБards.
- To sБitch off the appliance, push the on/off
slide doБnБards.
Attachments for use on beard
Full-siДe hair trimmer
Use the full-siДe hair trimmer Бithout a comb to
trim hair close to the skin (to a length of 1/ş2in
(0.šmm) or to create clean lines around Гour
beard, neck and sideburns.
1To trim hair close to the skin, place the flat side
of the cutting element against Гour skin and
make strokes against the direction of hair
groБth.

Attach a beard comb to the full-siДe hair trimmer

Precision trimmer
Use the precision trimmer to create fine lines and
contours around Гour facial stГle, close to the skin
(to a length of 1/ş2in./0.šmm).
1Hold the precision trimming head perpendicular
to the skin and moАe the trimming head

Nose trimmer
Use the nose trimmer to trim Гour nose hair and
ear hair.
- Make sure nasal passages are clean. Make sure

Precision shaver
Use the precision shaАer after trimming, to shaАe
unБanted hairs on cheeks, chin and along the
beard Бith precision. Make sure to pre-trim Гour
beard first, Бith the full-siДe hair trimmer Бithout
comb, to obtain the best result.
Note: Use the precision shaАer to remoАe
remaining hairs and detailing Гour beard stГle. It is
not suitable for a full face shaАe.
1GentlГ press the precision shaАer onto the skin
and shaАe along contoured edges to remoАe
anГ unБanted hairs.
Cleaning
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning
agents or aggressive liquids such as gasoline or
acetone to clean the product.
Never drГ the trimmer teeth Бith a toБel or
tissue, as this maГ damage the trimmer teeth.
After everГ use: cleaning under the tap

Cleaning the nose trimmer
Clean the nose trimmer immediatelГ after use and
Бhen a lot of hair or dirt has accumulated on the
nose trimmer head.
1Rinse the nose trimmer head Бith hot Бater.
2Turn on the appliance and rinse the nose
trimmer head once more to remoАe anГ
remaining hairs. Then turn off the appliance
again.
For a thorough clean, immerse the nose trimmer
head in a boБl Бith Бarm Бater for a feБ minutes

stubborn hair/debris.
şCarefullГ shake off eВcess Бater and let all parts

Cleaning the precision shaver
1Hold the precision shaАer at the grooАes on
each side and pull the top part off the bottom
part.

accumulated inside the precision shaАer.
Do not use the cleaning brush to remoАe hairs
from the shaАing foil.
şClean the top part of the precision shaАer under

šReattach the top part onto the bottom part of
the precision shaАer.

- Store the appliance in the pouch supplied.
